But I've barely used Twitter throughout my life as that's a platform that is dominantly strong in USA - where its popularity soars
Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin for example that's where I'm like home & they are really strong in Europe where I come from
Long story short I'll have to start using my Twitter more so I'll make sure to follow you there ;)
I would suggest maybe you can change some of your recording scenes like for example, I'm also trying myself to not always record in my messy studio but do some outdoor clips and recordings as well.
Not sure if that's much of a help but I think it'll add value to your videos because the viewers would get to see another aspect of your life which would be really lovely and engaging as well with the viewers.
Contest such as this one is always great on the STEEM platform. I have done it myself but it doesn't really get the desired engagement.
However the fact that you're trying to do something is already adding value to the type of DTubers we all want to see on the platform.

Hi @enjoyinlife, I think the solution that has worked very well is very simple "Solve Peoples Problems".
Identify one problem people are complaining about always and solve it.
Identify another problem and solve that too, continue doing that and then people start seeing you as a problem solver.
When you're perceived as a problem solver everyone wants to hear from you. They want to always hear your opinions and your views and with that you become successful.
I hope my entry wins because I really need all the steem I can get not and if I don't I've contributed my part and working inline with this to succeed @dtube & @steemit.

Really good consideration... Do you think though, people are willing to see someone as problem solver on STEEM?
Honestly, it looks like even if you do identify yourself as the one who solves challenges, majority won't care since they are preoccupied with their content or they simply won't give you a chance :)
Maybe I'm wrong. All in all, everything here is in beta phase so we shouldn't have any kind of expectations but rather work our asses OFF in order to try & provide any kind of value

@enjoyinglife, I don't think anyone can solve all problems in life nor on steemit nor on all the niches and tags that is found on steemit. You can't appeal to all.
But my thinking or understanding is, in which ever area you're good at, let people know you as the go to guy.
I joined steemit about 51 days ago, I read about it, had an understand of how people make it here, I followed them, had people I learnt how to make it on steemit from, used their teaching and added mine and today am on Rep 57. I've set a target of where I want to be by November 1st, December 1st and 1st of January 2019 and I think I can get there with the help of people direct or indirectly on steemit.
Now, I saw a post of a guy who said he's being on steemit 14 now and counting and he hadn't gotten any upvote and is on just rep 25. I gave him 100% upvote which was worth 0.16$ then. Lol. Not bragging or anything, but I think strategy matters.
In my little way am posting a series about the life of baby rabbits from when they were born until they are weaned (separated) from their mum. I did my first DTube video yesterday to show this and it panned out well. I think animal lovers loved it and it is a fun series for people inquisitive about the story. Now am not solving everyone's problem but there are people who want to know and are learning and asking questions. I even had an animal right guy follow me yesterday that loved it.
In all find a problem, solve it & the people in need of a solution will always find you. Thanks for keeping me in mind. Do have a lovely day. Cheers.
