What a day! The weather was really bad today, the rain was so strong, it was over 120mm in Sydney! As we got to the office, my mate, who got there first, told me part of the ceiling was on the floor. The roof of the building was leaking and soaked the ceiling material that got soft and fell. Luckily it was over an empty area and no one was injured. We were not the only victims, apparently this was happening in multiple department in the office.
The rain made a lot of noise we could hear it from inside. At around 3.45 pm, as I went to the toilet, one of my colleagues told me I better go home now as another friend of ours reported there were train issues. So when I got back to the desk, I told my mate that we should make a move or else we'll be stuck, that was a wise choice as we will discover later on.
Despite the umbrella, my shoes got soaked when we arrived at the station. We were greeted with an announcement that our line has been disrupted due to a broken overhead line that needed repair few stations ahead. So we had to either take the replacement bus to Beecroft or the opposite train to Central and catch another line back up to Hornsby and change again. We decided to take the train to Central, change at Hornsby and then wait 8 minutes at Gosford to take our train to Narara.
All went smoothly but slowly all the way to Gosford but when we arrived, we've been told our train to Narara has been delayed by at least 20 minutes. So I called my wife for a pick up at Gosford station.
In the end, it took us over 3 hours and 30 minutes to get home.
After diner and the boy went to bed, I check some of my worms orders and then did a little bit of work on @steemtelly. I managed to get the video and audio details page to load faster. But I've spotted the fact that some DSound content don't want to load on the Apple TV, not sure why yet. Maybe the audio encoding is different somehow.
