In dreams there are limitless possibilities. We can fly...we can walk on water…we can be anything that we want to be. I sometimes dream of things up close and personal.
Gloria Steinham once said, “Without leaps of imagination, or dreaming, we lose the excitement of possibilities. Dreaming, after all, is a form of planning.”
Words have some degree of inadequacy when I gaze upon your loveliness.
Beauty is so fleeting...Every eye can see a beautiful face but very few can make out a beautiful mind...
It is as if our ability to see inner beauty is like a muscle that must be developed and exercised. The more we exercise that muscle, the easier it is for us to appreciate inner beauty. And eventually, physical beauty pales in comparison.
Reach for the high in life... live big. Ride your bike. Fly a kite. Run. Run faster. Volunteer your time. Read to one who can't. Make jello and watch it dance. Stamp out poverty. Take a walk through the woods. Kiss your kids. Again. Again. Again.
Wake, enjoy, play, eat, rest. Rinse and repeat!
The details captured on the flower stem fascinated me when I was looking at them. I can almost see the microbes on the stem's hairs. Sometimes it may seem like you compromise a "pretty" picture to get fine details that are otherwise missed. It loses its softness and the delicate look, but I personally find the details "interesting"
What I personally find interesting about focus is where people put it. I guess the real irony is that the actual power comes when you narrow it….

These words remind me of a famous Filipino song entitled Doon Lang (Only There). It speaks of dreams. In dreams, he can collect the stars, bind the wind, forbid the rain to fall. And only in dreams that he could kiss his dear one. It's a beautiful song. And yes, we all dream dreams!
I lack the muscles to see inner beauty. I need to exercise those muscles a lot! Hahaha! 😂 But I think it's inherent to imperfect humans to judge using physical apperance, that's why prophet Samuel of old was counseled: “Do not pay attention to his appearance and how tall he is, for I have rejected him. For the way man sees is not the way God sees, because mere man sees what appears to the eyes, but Jehovah sees into the heart.” So, you are truly right, we need to exercise that muscle to appreciate real beauty!

We all dream dreams, but, few remember them. I remember some snippets, but, for the most part, I have to struggle to remember if I dreamed or not. My sister, on the other hand, has vivid recollections of many.
I try not to judge what the eyes see, but, rather use the heart. It is more reliable in matters like that.

Spectacular flowers amazing meaningful words as always the part.. "Dreaming, after all, is a form of planning.” this phrase is so true but the problem is after perfect planning of what i am going to do the moment , i wake from my dream it's all vanished any suggestions 😊

In some ways, I guess what you say is true because even with perfect planning oh, you stand the chance of losing it as you wake into the day. However that doesn't always happen and one of these days you may be lucky to wake up into the reality of it. At least that's what I keep hoping!
I don't think that there's anything wrong with dreaming and, in fact, I think it is a healthy release from the reality of life. I wake up more refreshed, having I can only hope to be, a beautiful dream.

I so agree. The closer you get the more amazing the detail. I definitely have a tendency to take pictures from too far away. But also, I don't have a real camera, so have both a lack of skill and a lack of the right technology working for me!
Believe me, there's no lack of skill when it comes to you. You take wonderful pictures and many people take them from too far away , but that is just where my view usually is. Up close and personal. I think that you get a better idea of the entire scene when you take it from a little bit of distance and I frequently think of that when I'm scrolling through my blogs and wondering if people want to know where I really am instead of right on top of the picture. So I guess there's two ways of looking at it. I will tell you what. The phones that they make today have better cameras on them than some cameras so, I would say that steady your hand and walk a couple Paces up and you may be surprised with some of the pictures that you can get.

Rudbeckia! For some reason, they were all reaching up to the sky that day as I went out to water them. It was like they were out of sunshine and were begging for more. Or water. Or something.
I do love these flowers as I think they are pretty versatile and pretty photogenic. They love to be photographed.

My dad taught me that there are day dreams and night dreams. The day dreams are those to be followed and never give them up. ;0)
The Daydreams have a way of appearing more in reality because the dreams that I have at night disappear into the morning. Probably why I used to have trouble with the phrase, "follow your dreams" because mine evaporated! :)
Your dad sounds like a man who makes the most of life. I hope all is well with you and yours. It has been a long haul here and we are still partially closed, but, I can see (well, almost) a light at the end of the tunnel.

Reminded me of the movie Inception which starred Leonardo DiCaprio. It was about dreams and the different levels of sleep and dreams. They were using drugs to induce dreams to do corporate espionage. But I am sure this isn't what you had in mind with this post lol. My late mom was a believer in dreams and actually had a chart which assigned numbers from 0 to 9 for almost any object one dreamt about. For example if she dreamt of a door that will be number 4 in her chart. She used that chart to bet on a numbers game and although she had her fair share of losses, she came out ahead and actually had positive net winnings. Nothing heavy, though. Just diversion and amusement.
I honestly believe a beautiful mind is more felt than seen through the actions of someone. A charitable person, a loving husband, a considerate superior, a patient mentor, a caring wife, a supportive neighbor, an appreciative reader. The list can go on. Notice, not once was physical beauty ever mentioned. In the end, kindness and a loving heart are what will matter. Sorry for taking up so much space. Just got carried away as what your posts always do to me :)

My late grandmother what's a believer in dreams to but I have to think that life was so much harder back then that their dreams helped make their reality not so bad. She lived through the depression here in the states as a young girl, and that part of her life never left her. In some ways. I love the story about your mom and how she used the numbers. I can only say that that method has to be as good or better as any other that I've heard. And she came out on top so I must say that it's probably better. Yes, way back when people knew how to limit things that they did for the most part. Nowadays, mothers using there grocery money for drugs it's not unheard of.
Sad but true.
I believe a beautiful mind is felt poor also and I love how not one time did you mention physical Beauty. I also believe that beauty does attract the eye, which is human, as long as it is a passing glance. To make that become the only thing that attracts you believe you sadly unfilled.
