This morning, I put a bag over my head so I can shop for groceries at Walmart in my shame. I come across this monstrosity. I'm sorry to my fellow steemiens if I have blinded you with this eyesore. It's just the beginning of October and this ugly tacky stuff is out. (isn't that astroturf grass beautiful?)

It's from an old joke. People talk about how Walmart sucks but they shop there anyway.
oh ok sir cosmiccrimes.. well I love Walmart, I don't know why people would say they suck. They usually have everything I need and the prices are great.
I save money by shopping for food from there. My comments are sort of an inside joke with the locals. When you have a poor region such as the one I live in, they usually have a lot of Walmarts. They associate it as part of that.
When I was in school people made fun of me for going in the dollar store. Which I think is stupid. The dollar store is one of my favorite places to go.
I growed up in a differnt county from the one I live in now. You have an area where people go around acting like they are better then eachother. It's basically like crabs in a pot that pull each other back down. When the 2008 recession hit peoples attitude changed about shopping cheaper places to save money.
Basically most people live below the poverty line, and the middleclass acted like they where the high class. It was a shitty place to live.

I love the dollar store, my wife has been working in Dollar General's for the last year traveling around to the ones in the area doing merchandising work in fact. In fact she's at one right now.
It's just a temporary job but still they are good stores to find bargains at!

sir cosmiccrimes! well if it's an area of bad attitudes then I'm glad you're out of there. Actually my wife hates her job but she is starting a new one and is just going through the hoops like background check and all that before she starts it.

I looked at your wallet. I know why you can't comment much. You have delegated too much of your Steem power out.
You have steem sitting around in your account you need to convert those into steem power and you should build up RC more quickly.

Those Christmas trees are very cheaply made. If you were to look close in real life its life the needles are almost like some kind of tough paper. They are overpriced for cheap junk. That tall one in the back is hundreds of dollars.
heck that is a lot of money for a naff xmas tree , but people will still buy them though !
All I'm going to do is get a few gifts. I got a free Christmas tree. Somebody set it out for trash pick up. Nothing was wrong with it. Upper middle- class people for ya.

I rarely see my family. I don't have close family near. They live far away. I bought a bunch of gifts and shipped it to them.
I need to start shopping for gifts soon myself.
I don't see my family often even though we live in the same city ! usually see them at birthdays etc , I suppose work etc gets in way , but we text each other , do you miss your family ?
