Social Media Promotion
Are you a social media star with an abundance of users following you?
Now is your chance to earn rewards through DLive's latest campaign.
Create a post on your desired social media platform about DLive! You must explain what DLive is in your post or video, describe your experience with our community and the post/video must contain the DLive logo along with a link leading back to Dlive.io - after that you must link the source of your campaign entry (URL and the screenshot) in the comment section of this post.
Above you can see a mock-up example of a Facebook post, it fits the criteria by informing users of the DLive platform, it contains the DLive logo, the post tells users about our friendly community and there's also a link in there that directs users to DLive.io
DLive will select specific entries and they will receive rewards using our reward system for this campaign.
Criteria
- Must contain DLive in the title
- Must contain DLive logo in thumbnail or somewhere in the post.
- Must explain what DLive is in the post/video
- Tell us your experience with the DLive Community inside the post.
- Must contain a link linking back to DLive.
- Can be done in any languange
Reward System For "Selected Posts"
- +50 likes -> 5% upvote
- +150 likes -> 8% upvote
- +400 likes > 10% upvote
- +1000 likes -> 15% upvote
- A bonus 1-3% will be rewarded for quality posts or links regardless of how many likes.
- Using bots to get likes for your posts will disqualify you from being eligible to receive rewards.
This campaign will start on February 26th, 2018 and last until March 5th at 12pm CET.

Yes, if copyright issues exist, it would be a problem. Everything is on blockchain, it is difficult to delete the videos which have copyright issues .

Hmmm is there something that can be put in place to maybe screen the content PRIOR to it being uploaded? If its flagged, content cannot be uploaded?

I have heard a lot about Dlive and people making cash from it but I think if newbies like me would be taught how it works especially when it comes to copying the Dlive.oi link. Thanks for the anticipated enlightenment

we listen to "copyrighted" music on our stream, but we're careful to listen to music that is freely available to anybody, i.e. dsound, youtube, soundcloud, spotify... and we're careful to give credit to ANY artist featured in our stream. when quite honestly, we're just playing fair. music artists especially, see half of fuckall from production companies from record sales. you want to support the artist? go to a show, and buy a t-shirt. most tour deals incorporate 100% of merch sales to the band, where they get like a nickel from every CD sold.
going by the precedent h3h3's recent fair use lawsuit win, use of other people's content is fine if it's not the main feature of the video. pretty sure that -technically- you aren't even allowed to listen to a CD you just bought with someone else in your car... lol, but when does that happen in real life? we are still watching the big production companies try to adapt their outdated models to internet distribution. media is meant to be experienced... and lawmakers act as gatekeepers to creator's messages. i 100% don't agree with that mentality. <3
We are talking about different things. Getting payment from DLive is different from normal approach. Creators are able to get benefit from their work directly. If someone pretends himself to the creator of certain video and get the payment which should be paid for the real creator, that is unfair for the real creator.

If you find someone streaming copyrighted content and/or using our servers maliciously, you can pretty much reach anyone on DLive's Discord (as in team members) and they can take care of it.

Been promoting @dlive from the moment I heard about it. Everytime when I start my stream, I make a post on my facebook and from time to time - to avoid spam - I upload a video to my 3rd YouTube channel (1st with 81k and 2nd with 25k were closed thanks to false flagging) to let people know that I am live on DLive.
My DLive chat is quite active with around 50~90 upvotes on average and 200+ comments on average.

Just a question -
Why are you rewarding depending on the likes of the post? Likes don't necessarily say the post got a lot of reaches or generated new people to the platform.
Likes are useless and don't even help the reach because of the latest changes Facebook implemented.
You should reward based on Shares/comments or link clicks. I think link clicks will be the best thing to do. You can check the link clicks and the reach to see if it makes sense as well, I don't mind helping with that. or just making it for reach.

I agreed on this campaign because it was simple enough to moderate. Yes there are bots on FB who can like posts but they are easy to filter it's just a pain going through profiles. Our campaigns in the past have catered to every and any user of Steemit and this one is merely a promotion tool for the platform to grow.

Agreed on that. I am in talks with youtubers who have several million subs but I talk to them directly.
Who are you guys aiming to get on the platform, streamers or just reguler folks? Not everyone is a streamer. Doesn't help much if my aunts, cousins and mom like my dlive post.
Wouldn't it be more efficient if everybody got 1 or 2 bigger youtubers to register?
I think viewers are just as important as creators. Yes, if you get youtubers over you also bring your audience and that helps but I think reaching out to people on facebook that you know and love helps bridge the gap for them to at least consider it. Good points @jumowa.
For me, I am not nearly as excited as bringing over big stars as I am promoting people that already are vested in the Steemit platform. Bringing those people over has it's advantages although I wonder how much bringing over people with promises of rewards will do for the long-term price of steem. If everyone is doing it just to cash out, and you are bringing in the "big fish" from youtube and twitch, you are giving huge rewards to people not at all vested in the platform.
Maybe I am playing checkers while DLive is playing chess. For the long-term it probably is good to get the platform out there.

Hey DLive I have been streaming on DLive for the past few days but im struggling to get my picture quality good. Mines somewhat blurry especially when theres movement on the screen. Whenever I stream to other platforms my picture is perfect however i cannot make it decent on DLive. My Interent is fast and my pc more than powerful. Ive played around with the bitrate, frames per second etc and nothing seems to work. Its frustrating to say the least when i know my streams on other platforms are great.
I realy want to make streaming on DLive work. Im streaming through PS4 remote and OBS but it seems theres nothing i can do improve my picture quality. Is there anything you can help me with.

Hey mate Im from the UK. I see plenty of other UK streamers doing fine. I just dont get it. Im going to try streaming again soon and tweaking the settings again, see how that goes. Just going to have to keep trying I think.

I have been trying to use dlive but obs connection always fails to connect. What to do?
Sounds like you may not have the correct stream key info in your obs provided by dlive. You must put in the server name and password then click on "use authentication" and that opens up two more slots with client number info and stream password. Let me know if that helps.
