"Almost everything in life is a question of concepts and particularly, when I face a portrait session, I try to start from expressive neutrality, and if the people in front of the camera acquire that neutrality from the start, he or she will find his or her own position in front of the camera."

"You may have seen a recent Travelfeed post of mine that provided a photo tour of the 2022 National Cherry Blossom Festival. Here is an oil painting inspired by one of those photos.

"I headed back over to Stanedge Edge yesterday, as the weather was beautiful, slightly cool but the sun was out. I thought I'd set off about 1ish as I wanted to get there, have a walk all way down the edge and hopefully get a sunset.
"Due to the change in the weather, I didn't get to do what I wanted, but the sky looked apocalyptic, very very dramatic, with snow showers coming in from all directions."

"Three years ago, my family and I were vacationing in the south of Ukraine, not far from Henichesk, in the Kherson region. These photos were taken right there, at the dawn of one of the ten extremely happy days. When the sun rose, it flooded the beach, the sea and the sky above it with its blood-red radiance. This shade is due to the peculiarities of the refraction of the sun's rays, but now it seems a prophetic sign, because Genichesk was occupied on the first day of the Russian invasion."

"While I was looking for an object as usual to share on the hive platform, I found a caterpillar type animal perched on a rambutan tree. As we know, this caterpillar sucks the sap from the tree it infests, so this insect is considered a very dangerous pest for agricultural crops."

"That's the key handoff in the above pic, and this shack/house near the highway is likely where we'll live once we've rented out the nicer cabins. Priority number one will be repaying the loan, and that'll mean keeping those places vacant and ready for renters, whether overnight or monthly."
