Today the flight was scheduled for 8 a.m. and the bird didn't leave.
(Speaker) Gull 13-18 is notified that it is time for her to take to the runway.
Gull 13-18: Taking off, gaining momentum, lots of full power. Next to take-off...
Altimeter rising, variometer positive, see you in the air!
HAHAHHAHA IS SHE ALLOWED TO FLY ? COVID RESTICTINS AND ALL, BUT I WOULD BOOK A TICKET WITH BIRDS AIRLINES ANY TIME
Hahahahaha... These are the safest flights, only allowed in COVID free areas

That's right, he was due for a break on his way back. I love airplanes too, they're one of my passions. Excellent photographs of the gull bird and the plane. Thank you, my friend, for sharing these excellent shots and for your constant support

One day, a couple of decades ago, I was sitting on the sand, watching the ocean in Long Beach, California. It was a weekday, and the beach was pretty sparsely populated, with only a few blankets dotting the landscape.
About 50 yards in front of me, a mother and her young child were enjoying a picnic of sandwiches under a small umbrella. They ate their lunch in a leisurely fashion, watching the waves roll in and the gulls fly around. When they were finished, they rolled up what was left of their sandwiches and put them in a small paper lunch bag, which the mother folded neatly, to ensure it was properly closed. She carefully placed the bag in the shade of the umbrella so the contents wouldn't spoil as quickly in the hot sun.
After several minutes, the child stood up and urged his mother to take him to the water. She graciously obliged and they made their way to the water's edge. As soon as they left the vicinity of the blanket, a circling gull swooped down and made straight for the paper bag. With one peck he tore a hole in the bottom of the bag, exposing the sandwiches. With the second peck, he took the sandwiches in his mouth, gobbled them down and flew off in the blink of an eye.
It was getting late. I gathered my things and made my way back to my car, wondering what the mother and her child would think when they returned from their swim and found their pillaged picnic satchel.
Haa, what a great story. I could actually believe that that is straight from reality!

My story is;
After so much time spent in watching a cat walk, the feathered friend decided to give it a try, forgetting that every creature has its own way of mobility.
It began successfully untill the ground got tired of it and gave it a judgment to fall.
The feathered friend, who's mobility is dual switched to the alternative to fly saying;
Anyway is a way!

As Police Officer Seagle was looking on (with silver boots at the far end), Steven Seagull is trying his darndest to walk in a straight line. And with effort. He just came from a birthday party and has had one margarita too many. The police officer observed how Steven was flying erratically and flagged him down. Here's the conversation:
Officer Seagle: You are suspected of FUI (Flying Under the Influence). This is a serious crime and may earn you a few months behind jail at Gulley Penitentiary.
Steven Seagull: That is not true Officer. I am as sober as a bird.
Officer Seagle: Prove it. Walk 100 yards in a straight line. If you do, I'll let you go.
Steven Seagull: You're on. Watch me. (Thinking: Oh no, I'm not going to make it. My feet are crisscrossing. Darn that margarita stuff. Ooops, slowly Steven. Slowly. Don't trip on your foot. Yikes! I'm not going to make it!)
He didn't make it. Luckily it was his first offense and Judge Gully just gave him a suspended sentence and community time.
Moral of the story: Don't drink and drive or fly.
I love it! Of course he is attempting to walk a straight line! I don't know why I didn't see that before you pointed it out.

Nothing better than a feathered thought. The truth is, the story is very good. Hopefully the publication will teach many about substance abuse.

The important thing is to enjoy like my friend does learning to dance tango. Good story and you can see that the feathered friend will be a good dancer.
My story.
The bird successfully missed its step because others were pointing their huge eye balls on it.
It reminds me of those days that classmates whose joy is to laugh at you for wearing a coat of many colors.

ada-bird has just attended a meeting where she was told the secret of a peacock "all a peacock do to look beautiful is cat walk and flaunt it feather". The next morning ada-bird has gone out into the street catwalking and flaunting it feather. "What a peacock can do, I can do it better" she says while walking in her new style.

This is my entry:
Ellie was always looked down upon.
No one believed in her dreams and that she could achieve it.
Some said she was wasting her life.
Other said she was throwing it away.
All those practices, bruises and pain and all that hard work had finally paid off.
Now the whole world stood in awe as Ellie threw her hands in the air and graciously walked down the ramp, at the Victoria Secret Fashion.

If you like very early MTV video style music, and British Rock of the early 80's (1981), I liked it when it first came out, but then again I also liked Adam Ant and Billy Idol, and ZZ Top along with a very wide range of other music from the time.

Well seagulls do have something in common with cats, they both like getting dinner from garbage cans. So for those that would like to hear with out a search there is the video. If it plays in their region, youtube has gotten pretty picky about showing things cross country.
Yep, you are right, not available in our country.
I really started to hate that about a year ago, it is the most annoying thing ever. It is the internet, I have had to do local search for a lot of the music posted. A lot of the post from England I also have to do a local search for. I just do not understand the thrill the people behind google, youtube, and facebook at making people do local searches. That is one of the reasons I stopped posting links to videos, the "Video not available in your location" bull.

Ayil, the bird of the sky, diver of the beach, best first catcher of the year (even though she broke her leg during the process).
She left in the morning so as to make good catches for the day. She has been going out to the beach earlier before other birds because it's the most quite time which fingerlings feel beaten by the waves.
After some successful morning time for her, other birds of different species came and the noise increased.
Ayil who's known to be a quiet type went out from the shore but others took offense for that.
They began to gossip her around, thinking that she won't hear what they were whispering.
She paid close attention for some time untill her head was full of annoying statements.
She came out face to face with the gossipers, confronted them boldly.
They laughed at her and made more jokes with her broken leg until she got annoyed and flew away saying;
