I know that there is a second level platform/community in Hive specialized in conducting questionnaires, surveys and polls called dpoll. Just as I also know that Leofinance for their Threads platform, recently released a test application for the same purpose. However, I find both applications somewhat limited for the type of poll I was planning to do today.
And therefore, in favor that it can be seen by the largest number of users in our ecosystem and that they can participate in it massively, it occurred to me that the most prudent thing to do would be to launch this survey on my own blog in Hive.
Don't get me wrong. I reckon that both official Hive dApps for the creation and formulation of surveys & polls are quite good and are on their way to further evolve. But at the moment, I find them both with very little participation and low engagement from users and in the case of Threads, even with a very limited space in the number of characters available to generate a slightly more complete survey and decent poll. That's the only reason why I decided to create it here through this post.
Alright! well, let's start then!!
Ok, the question is simple and is as follows:
Q.- If all your content in Hive. Posts, comments, etc., have been and are being constantly downvoted and zeroed from a long time in an unjustified way and without any explanation from the responsibles of such behavior. ¿How do you think you should react?
1. I should have to complain publicly and request an explanation from the responsibles of the downvotes immediately in my own blog.

3. I should keep quiet and seek support from some influential users who could counter the downvotes and help me to stop them.

5. I should write and publish a series of informative posts for the entire ecosystem, publicly denouncing all the abuse and arbitrariness committed by these recidivist offenders.
6. I should simply continue creating my content and posting as always with the same frequency, commenting and interacting everywhere as if nothing is or was happening.
7. None of the options offered above. I will add my own alternative in my comment below.

As to your survey, I've tried most of them when I was targeted. I'm not good at being stoic, so ended up whinging, cajoling, and interacting until it stopped. Seems you'd be good at that. We should ask that the next hard fork end the use of downvote trails and/or auto downvotes. At least make the downvoters actually hit the downvote button themselves. There has always been talk of ending upvote trails and auto upvotes, but I've never heard anyone suggest the same for downvotes. This would cut down on capricious, unfair, and harmful downvoting.
I object to behavior modification attempts of all kinds. Whenever they start trying to modify our behavior, the smaller accounts are harmed the most.
Yeah, I agree! From the beginning and for a long time I have been a great enemy of all kinds of automatisms on a social setting. Whoever wants to earn money interacting socially, that can do it only working. Doing it consciously, manually, organically, in person and actively.
Downvoting is the only way to make more tokens available in the rewards pool exclusively for them. Since due to their high HP, that allows them to extract a higher amount of tokens than anyone else. Did you know that if absolutely no one voted during 7 days and you were the only one who voted in that period, your vote would equal the total value of the rewards pool?
Eliminating all kinds of automatisms, without a doubt that would substantially reduce all sorts of capricious, unfair and harmful behaviors. Because to deserve earn monetary rewards, you have to work. And not everyone is willing to do it. Especially if you already have money to spare.
Nothing that tries to submit others to do something by force is going to have good results. The smaller accounts and that we are the majority, the ones who really keep the beach bar going, we'll end up rebelling.

I absolutely agree, but note that competent scripters can, and do, make their own bots. Somebody makes all the bots. It's not the frontends.
We have several witnesses in the top20 that made their fortunes - and their friends - by that bot invasion that very nearly destroyed the platform. While I am not knowledgeable regarding their conversion to top20 witnesses from bitbot operators, it seem likely that they ended their bidbotting in exchange for the inclusion in the oligarchy that rules Hive.
I am aware that at least one former bidbot still operates on Hive, now as a DV device. It seems these botters are incapable of being prevented on the blockchain, which makes me sad that @ned's attempt to create oracles competent to limit votes to 1/per human user failed.
So, I suggest that it is impossible to be rid of bots without oracles like @ned referred to, as sad as that is. Since Hive is a social interaction, I strongly support that interaction being only between humans. Insofar as we fail to do that, we fail to be a social media platform, and denigrate humanity to the humanity applying to toasters.

The reason for the confusion that can be found online is that the people who have taken the extremes they assess in this way have already taken them themselves without realising it. So anyone who does not realise that they are pursuing extreme thoughts and intentions, while at the same time demanding that anyone who happens to be the focus of an unrelated mob be excluded, censored and otherwise persecuted, is hopelessly bogged down. I mean "extreme" in the sense of "without alternative", a circumstance that hardly ever exists in purity.
Since something like "thought" basically never reigns fixed in any mind, it always reigns only as a temporary whim, as a fleeting element constantly contradicting itself in the further course of such thoughts, on the constant hunt for a fixed identification.
The reason you don't know why you get downvotes is not surprising, since the only rule by which the sphere runs here is the sentiments of individuals who, whenever they feel like it, choose sometimes this way and sometimes that. Too much "social", too little expertise.
This is how one comes under the strict tribal rulebook, which, as we believe we know from times gone by, promoted an extremely strong group dynamic, while on the other hand the individual could not express irritating, different and new thoughts and ideas, because otherwise he would be beaten to death or chased away. This is not as blatant today, but it still exists, even in modern environments. There they are less deadly, but a reason to feel very lonely at times, when one despairs of the fact that everything works and at the same time nothing works, precisely because everything is talked to pieces and thought to death and, on the other hand, an all-round superficiality steadily breaks through.
The only way to escape this is to go offline. A possibility that you can no longer fully rely on.
To answer your strategic suggestions: there is no general strategy, except not to have one and to evaluate each situation for itself. Since hardly anyone does that and nothing and no one is treated as a blank slate, one concludes that there is a certain mindset that one must either adhere to or throw something at. LOL
