Starship is an American rock band from San Francisco in California. Der et amerikansk rockeband fra San Francisco, California. Initially, this band was a contination of Jefferson Starship, where it went through a change in the musical direction, the subsequent loss of personnel and a lawsuit that implied a name change. They were like stars in a ship, and therefore the name as we know it today.
First, the group was originally formed in the summer of 1965 by Marty Balin (1943), a singer and songwriter. The facts on the origin of the band's name are disputed. One argument is that Jefferson Airplane got its name from the mythical blues player Blind Thomas Jefferson Airplane. After being the group Jefferson Starship, it change the name to just Starship in 1984. And the record company they were using was RCA Record. And the band is still active today. And the genres they are playing and singing are rock, arena rock and pop rock.
You find the music from Starship on the ordinary music platforms on the internet, and these are YouTube, YouTube Music, Spotify and Deezer, and you can listen to the music from this group just as you like and imagine, and you can be satisfied or dissatisfied with your reactions by listening to the music, and thereafter act as you want.
There is much music that comes from this band, and many things are more interesting than listen to all things in all the schools at every level in the world, but we must be comfortable with that there are variations in what people are doing from the best performances, to middle performances and to bad performances, and as long as there are people on the planet, not all people have the same abilities and capacities.
There are many songs coming from these group, and we also see them as music videos on the internet. And they are: «Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now», «We Built This City», «Sara», «It’s Not Enough», «It’s Not Over», «Tomorrow Doesn’t Matter Tonight», «Wild Again», and «Find Your Way Back», and even more songs. And these songs are about life, and what we have done of work different places, and that people should have honor and gratitude from what they are doing, and we should not escape from the facts, that telling that something is wrong or bad unless we have reasons for that.
We have several members of this group today, and there have also been several past members. The people we are finding in the band today are: Mickey Thomas, Phil Bennett, Darrell Verdusco, Jeff Adams, John Roth and Cian Coey.
The current members in Starship is both singing and playing, and the different members that I mentioned above are doing the following:
Mickey Thomas – lead vocals, rhythm guitar (1984–1991, 1992–present)
Phil Bennett – keyboards, backing vocals (1995–present)
Darrell Verdusco – drums, backing vocals (1995–present)
Jeff Adams – bass, backing vocals (2000–present)
John Roth – lead guitar, backing vocals (2012–present)
Cian Coey – lead vocals (2021-present)
The group has won several awards in their history, and some of them are Grammy Awards and Streamy Awards, And we should find pleasure, utility and inspiration about the music we are hearing, and we should be satisfied with playing the band, and sometimes we must meet the members alive, and that is nice!
