Not at all. Considering the mount of research you do to formulate your opinions, I've come to the obvious conclusion that they aren't worth respecting is all.
But again... you're entitled (to them)
They most certainly don't matter to me at all, however. So opinion away :D
Some curiosity and action - for learning purposes now.
Now this doesn't really bother me because I'm a big girl and am fine with myself these days. I do see some young people on here who are still struggling and who are vulnerable and some old people too. We all have trauma etc.
@hivewatchers - what protocol does Hive has in place (if any) for possible criminal activity, please?
Do we report it outside the blockchain and if so how would one do that? I assume such matters are outside of the communities reach @jpbliberty ? Sorry to hassle but it's an interesting one, I think? For user safety. All for freedom and respect. But there are "unhinged" people running around who intentionally cause harm so one would need to address this in any society?
What thoughts, please?
I'd still like to know who this is :) They turn up at interesting times and I suspect it's a someone else who is well established on the blockchain and this is done intentionally to get people to bail. I'm too old to be scared off. I am, however, interested in the rights and protection of less healed people. And my investment in this blockchain. I'm over a year old now :)
Thanks for your time and looking forward to hearing your thoughts, please.
Why haven't you blocked this shit already?
It's not like you can use it for projects and stuff. Do you enjoy giving attention?
Are you a masochist like my brother?
:) I think shit needs to be addressed. Or it doesn't change.
It doesn't bother me that much. Just shitty to have to deal with it. I worry more about the young women who this happens to who aren't as used to this shit, as I am. By my age one has been exposes to it a lot! It is what it is. Like racism. Or any ism.
But it should be addressed.
You're back :D. With my boy right now but will check in shortly. And you're so valiant! Love it! I'd totally do the same for you if someone was giving you shit. #justsayin
I also want to expose this shit, by the way. And I'm pretty tencious so I hope he comes to the table like an adult.
People have different opinions and different worldviews on Hive.
What is considered offensive to one person may not be offensive to another.
We cannot censor someone because someone else got offended.
Personal disputes are not part of our scope of work.
If there is anyone who you think that is offending you, I would recommend ignoring that user and muting the account.
Yes, I hear you. It's why I'm interested in web3. Freedom and respect for the individual.
I'm interested in the legal aspects? So I will wait for feedback from @jpliberty if they have time then.
What I'm understanding, from your comment, is that Hive currently has no community standards that are enforced regarding possible intentional (keyword) abuse or harm to users. And nothing in place to monitor and correct possible criminal activity. Or possible Human Rights Violations.
Possible and alleged. Obviously.
Is this correct, please?
Take your time. This is a big conversation. But extremely relevant in 2023.
I don't (personally) think it is the chain's responsibility to investigate. I'm not sure if there might be steps taken for resolution by a blockchain though. Many facets to this amd worth considering in development of any community. Or not, as it were.
Very much depends on the ethos, vision and direction of any blockchain, I guess. And also how much a system is liable under what law, if any? I do enjoy law and tech so this something I'm going to be lookikg at now.
Feedback appreciated, please? I'm pretty new to Web3.
Apologies. I'm anti cencorship and won't mute on principle.
It takes an immense amount to "offend" me as well. Not offended. Not sure that's possible anymore :D
But I wont allow my kids to join now. Obviously. Especially my daughter. Not until I understand this better.
I am curious about the legalities. Which you should be too because these are there to protect you guys as well, see? No system is above the law. Obviously.
But what and how is my curiosity.
I sense nothing like this was considered in the panic of the hardfork?
I imagine the Witnesses would be held liable if something criminal was facilitated by one of their nodes for example?
Unusual circumstances. Web3. Being decentralized. See?
Lookikg forward to more of your thoughts. It is a very interesting conversation. But then I'm a bit of a nerd. ;)
I could check most of them, but not the "spiritual awakening"that only happens to people already fuctup on other shit
A down to Earth person will never achieve that kind of shit.
Your opinion was personal and you don't know me. So...
Why?
Why so triggered?
Well thanks for your very constructive and utterly useless opinion :)
Which you're entitled to. Of course!
Enjoy your day ☀️

This one is so off the mark it honestly isn't worth engaging with.
Are you sure you have the right person?

My question here is. Harassment and psychological/emotional abuse. These are criminal activities now. We all know this, these days.

What say @baah ?
Shall we sit together, face to face with a third party, and end this amicably now? This would make the most sense and we might both learn something?

I'm not holding my breath or anything.

Muting a user is not censorship since everyone else can see what the user posts except you. It's the same as muting someone on Instagram.

Funny guy.
"Maybe we're having a spiritual awakening. I'm not quite sure!" stolen and changed from a trance track 😆
You can achieve the perspective that there's something greater with meditation. I thinks it's about dissolving the ego mostly. That's all.
It can be done with focus and intent. But not all of the time. Dogs get it faster and better than we humans do, I reckon 😉
