Week 28 Results | 26W-18L-3P | +1.975 Units Profit

This is a weekly overview of my personal sports betting/trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.

Another solid profitable week in the books reaching a new all-time high in my season results chart. At the moment, the numbers make me cautiously confident at the moment as I am clearly beating the market while at the same time, too much of my edge comes from being able to always get first-hand odds on my betting broker Sportmarket Pro which always allows me to shop for the best offers around. I'm also way too reliant on the corners market which has lower limits as a big part of my edge comes from those bets. This is the main reason I have a hard time getting my stakes up as the bets that do have way bigger limits just aren't nearly as profitable if they even are profitable at all. So if I would increase my stakes quite a bit where possible, I would have to do it in a way where I on average would get lower odds because I'm pushing them down on the bets that, to begin with, have the lowest edge. This for sure would decrease my edge while increasing the swings making me more emotional and less capable to make all the good decisions.

So it puts me in a spot where scalability is limited unless I would really push myself to get a lot better than I am now which would ask quite some time and effort. I will also start exploring early 1x2 bets on crypto bookies as they have much more of an edge than the Asian bookies.

On top of the profit, I'm also getting a lot of enjoyment out of it which is easy when things are generally going up.

Pre-Game Preview Bets Season 2021-2022

It was one of those weeks where I managed to make a good profit while the pre-game bets from the previews showed an overall loss. They went 2W-3L-0P this week for around -1 unit loss. If anything, it shows how volume is a key factor and how it's needed to get in a ton of bets in order to even everything out.

I'm still thinking to just dropping the idea to also take bets on Copytip given the fact that it's so hard with the limits and I rarely have bets anymore here I'm overly confident to take them in one go. I will see where it goes toward the end of the season. In case I do have bigger bets, I will share them also on the SBC Discord Channel the moment I get into them.

Season 2021-2022 Personal Betting Chart

It's nice to see the chart go up ranging above the expected +3.2% ROI reaching new all-time highs having some more breathing room in case I would get hit by a bad streak. I did stake 7.426 units and still need to continue increasing my volume quite a bit to reach the wanted 10 units on a weekly basis. Being profitable remains key though as there is no point betting more with losing results as that would be a double negative. For now, I just keep going at it the same way slowly but surely trying to increase my average stake without changing what works.
