Week 32 Results | 17W-18L-1P | +0.677 Units Profit

This is a weekly overview of my personal sports betting/trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.

Another profitable week in the books breaking new season highs in profit made. It's the end of the season which always brings some interesting situations where the statistics most of the odds are based on don't always count. I managed to get in a nice winner on an outright draw at 3.7+ odds which in the end pretty much made up all the profit from a total of 36 bets taken. I also pretty much cover most positions in-game protecting at least part of the downside risk which brings down variance a lotand gives a good piece of mind.

Pre-Game Preview Bets Season 2022-2023

Occasionally I have higher odds bets taken up as official bold selections in the previews that I'm making & this was also the case this week which turned out in a big winner as I'm counting everything just as 1 unit flat bets. So far I believe I had 7 bets with 3.0 odds or higher of which 2 Won, 4 Lost and 1 pushed. These kinds of bets in the long term tend to give the best results but also come with a lot of variance compared to the regular 1.8-2.0 odds type bets. I'm now 179 bets deep intot the season on pre-game preview bets which yielded +40.465 units profit or a +5.85% ROI which is quite nice.

Regular Season 2022-2023 Personal Betting Chart

I couldn't have drawn a nicer-looking chart for the season so far never having been in the red and always trending above the expected pink profit like bouncing to the upside each time I came close to it. I now also reached new all-time highs and the only real improvement I want to make is getting my volume up. One of the problems remains the limits especially with the corner bets and I should move to a way of going about things where I force myself to take bets where I see lower edge with higher stakes. This likely would bring down my ROI but increase the overall profit unless I get hit with big variance which for sure is possible. With just 2 weeks to go I won't change much though and I did better compared to last season both in total money staked and the overall ROI which is now at +5.46%. I did stake 5.764 units which is well below where I want it to be and I'll be aiming to do better in the coming week.
