Are You Dedicated To Hive?

This only applies to those, of course, who are interested in succeeding on it.

People expect success to come to them easily. This is not how things work. Hive is no different than any other endeavor in life.

In this video I discuss how the starting point of success on Hive is to be commited and dedicated to it. This is what enables one to look long term while also consistently taking the proper action.

When I get bored of playing halo, or in between matches sometimes, I will look through @theterminal's discord channel for 1st posts in hive.. and I will say Hi to the new folks, and engage with them.. and point them in the direction of helpful content..

There was a guy named @mister.corvid who actually tagged me in the intro post that he wrote at my suggestion, as I ask most new folks who write vary basic intro's... because I want to have them see the potential value rather than get glossed over, or never seen at all.

I am. I am really sold out to Hive’s ethos of decentralization and censor-resistant. Now, when it comes to backing up my commitment with financial investment, that’s where the struggle comes in. You know, in a developing country like the Philippines, supporting a family with three sons isn’t a joke. Also, without a good credit standing, looking for a loan isn’t easy. And so, all I can do is invest the minimal amount that I could spare. Writing content is also not easy for a newcomer. It takes a lot of time to learn this new technology. And that is why I appreciate guys like you who share your insights. Somehow, it makes the learning curve of newbies like me easier.

Oh man! This was such a timely and needed message to me. I started out years ago with devcoin and devtome and then migrated to Steemit. Just after hive came about, I got preoccupied and frustrated with life issues and let blogging and hive take a backseat. This year has been a year of change in several apsects of my life and the last few days I've found myself wanting to reignite my passion for blogging and hive. I've had the help and encouragement from a few friends, namely @raymondspeaks, and I am deciding to rededicate my initiative to this amazing project. Your message of ownership and us being good at talking ourselves out of things really hit home and I want to thank you for posting this vid!

I think I am dedicated to HIVE and I think my time spent here is more productive than doing games/manga/anime. Of course I still do them but I make sure to check in between my breaks to check in on the block chain.

With constantly being in (or around) the top 10 of the engagement league (recently I was the third), probably I can say that I am dedicated to Hive.

I would say I am passionate about hive as it has been an interesting self discovery process and I spend a large amount of my time engaging and building up various members of the community. That is why I try to engage in new members or those I find that would never get exposure... I think if people don't actively take care of new incoming members then they will go to another platform that does or try to follow new platforms. I'm now starting to look at different platforms to spend some time on with hive being 50-80% of the priority moving forward until I discover it beneficial otherwise.

I wonder if hive truly promotes meritocracy though or does it moreso support banding together with several key members in the community or groups in order for them to vote each other up for these gains? I invested a good amount of my own funds (at least to me) since entering hive and although I literally added money as the crypto markets dipped heavily I still plan on adding more, but what may have been 5 digits I've decided to keep around 4 and learn more about the ecosystem and everything surrounding it first.

Because of a recent situation I decided to power down 200 hive and was considering powering it all down, but chose against that. Instead I will make an open statement to add and power up a multitude of projects I believe in and see where it goes. I'm a marathon individual, but I've noticed some institutional flaws in it currently that I'm not sure how it could be solved at least with my little understanding of the ecosystem thus far.

SPKnetwork and layer-2 implementations will deal with the meritocracy issue

Ah yes that is another deep dive I need to add to my list about SPKnetwork I vaguely recall listening to a fireside chat about that. Thanks for putting it again on my radar !PIZZA

I agree that consistency is key. For example, I have friends who dedicated a lot of time to playing Gods Unchained in their free time, simply for the fun of it, and ended up receiving significant drops of both IMX and GODS tokens for their cumulative efforts. Those who have been consistent with Steem/HIVE from the beginning are no doubt sitting pretty right now. The problem is that most of us didn't comprehend how revolutionary this tech was going to be and got distracted with other life responsibilities and/or distractions. A combination of faith and dedication will bring amazing results over time.

I will be dedicated to Hive until a better thing comes out. Until then, Hive will be the way to go for me

And in the grand scheam of this,Your points in this vedio are the only way we will bring massive addoption and web 3 development..Commitment will breed serious creativity and proper Dapps

I'm dedicating a lot of my time to Hive, I'm interested in supporting the blockchain to grow and me and my projects with it. Like you I dedicate myself to curate with my account and with my project @celf.magazine, to publish good content and to seek to add new people to Hive.

I still don't have a big influence or power but I'm doing my best to keep growing, improving and supporting others along the way.

We need to make more community. Thanks for making this kind of encouraging videos. Hive is a life-changing tool for many people. It has been for me.

For now, I can say that I am not yet so dedicated to Hive, although if I were told to choose one between Hive and another, I would definitely choose Hive.

I'm still in the stage of trying to be consistent in creating content and also in engagement. It's not easy, but worth trying.

It took me a while to realize that Hive is perfectly aligned with my personal goals. I just want everyone to have a fair chance at whatever they do and when it comes to content creation, Hive does allow that.

Writing educative content in a competitive environment that takes a lot of factors into consideration before rewarding your work is a perfect place to excel in what you are doing.

I gave it a test run and now I am 100% certain that providing quality information will be rewarded appropriately. Because of that, I'm determined to go all-in while keeping what you said in mind.

At a certain point you have to look beyond the money.

I think I'm already there.

I completely agree with you. I am sleep deprived because I am still on hive. lol But it's true what you say it's seen when you try your best. using our own work and ultimately we help each other. I don't even do it for the money. But it does give some form of appreciation

The Hive Gamification Proposal for 2022
Saint-Nicholas challenge for well-behaved girls and boys
Feedback from the December 1st Hive Power Up Day

Summary:
In this video, Task discusses the importance of dedication and commitment to Hive for achieving success. He emphasizes the need to put in consistent effort and focus, drawing parallels with excelling in various areas of life such as sports, fitness, and personal development. Task highlights the potential for life-changing rewards on Hive through active participation, citing examples of successful individuals in the platform. He encourages viewers to engage consistently, contribute to the community, and build their stake to have a say in the platform's direction. Task also touches on the transformative potential of Web 3.0 and blockchain technology, urging users to look beyond monetary rewards and become active owners in the Hive community.

Detailed Article:

Task starts the video by posing the question of whether the audience is fully dedicated to Hive, emphasizing the necessity of putting in 110% effort to achieve success in any endeavor. He acknowledges that not everyone may prioritize Hive, as individuals have diverse interests and responsibilities. However, Task stresses that total commitment is crucial for those aiming for remarkable achievements on the platform.

Moving on, Task illustrates the concept of "play to earn" through gaming as a way for users to receive rewards for their time and effort. He introduces the idea of life-changing money available on Hive, citing examples of individuals who have already seen significant financial benefits through their dedication. Task draws parallels between physical fitness goals and success on Hive, highlighting the need for consistent effort and perseverance over time to see tangible results.

Task then delves into the importance of consistency in engaging with Hive daily, emphasizing the value of being dedicated to the platform. He encourages users to actively participate in tribes, contribute meaningfully, and support fellow community members to stand out and grow collectively. Task underscores the significance of taking ownership and acting as an owner within the Hive community, where users have a stake and a say in shaping the platform's future.

Furthermore, Task discusses the greater impact of one's actions within the Hive community, emphasizing how every comment, upvote, or interaction contributes to the platform's growth. He highlights the potential for users to inspire and motivate others through their engagement, underscoring the transformative power of dedication and encouragement within the community.

Task concludes by addressing the dual aspects of engagement in Hive: while emphasizing the possibility of life-changing rewards, he also acknowledges that participation can be driven by interests beyond financial gain. He uses Splinterlands as an example, showcasing that individuals can engage with different aspects of Hive based on their preferences and still contribute positively to the community.

Overall, Task's message revolves around the significance of dedication, consistency, and active participation in Hive to not only seek personal success but also contribute to the collective growth and transformation of the platform and its community.
