Many bands have been in London, many have come, and many have left the stage. And you always need quality in music, regardless of where the music bands are coming from. And the group «A Friend in London» was a Danish rock group from Vostrup in Denmark!
It is better to meet a friend in London than an enemy in London. And what we are doing is in accordance with our wishes, interests, desires and expectations when being there. The band «A Friend in London» is also known under the name AFIL, and was formed in 2005 of the vocalist Tim Schou, the guitarist Sebastian Vinther, the bassist Aske Damm Bramming and the drummer Esben Svan. And the band was dissolved in 2014. You find this band on the ordinary music platforms as for instance YouTube, YouTube Music, Deezer and on Spotify. And you can hear to what you imagine and what your want to hear, of just being you and me in the human nature, and we can do things in accordance with our imaginations and our deepest belonging. You find the music from this band on the Internet, and their most popular music songs are: «New Tomorrow», «Rest From The Streets» and «Calling a Friend». And what you do from time to time, in which shape you are, and what you are doing with your body form who you are, and the networks around you are just persons you get in contact with, and such can the whole formal and informal number of people around you be structured. And people around you in the work are always cluster analysis, where you are just working alone or together with other people. The music you find on the music videos in the Internet is «New Tomorrow». And we are just new and ourselves in the version we want to be in from day to day.
There is a lovely country, and that is Denmark, and this is also the Danish national song. And we can be ourselves, and make all the relations we want from country to country. It is nice to be a friend with everybody, either this is in London, in another city or town, or just in the villages and in the districts. The Danish rock group «A Friend in London» won Danish Melody Grand Prix in 2011 with the song «New Tomorrow». Thereafter they represented Denmark in Eurovision Song Contest 2011, and they ended on the fifth place.
The genres that this music group in Denmark operated within were soft rock, alternative rock and pop rock. The band started touring Denmark extensively with more than 100 different gigs. Their break came in 2008 with the Bodog Million Dollar Battle of the Bands where they won the European leg of the competition reaching the final 10 qualifying round in the United States. The band refused to continue further with the competition, because of complexity of contractual aspects the organizers wanted to impose on them and other participants.
Following that, they toured Canada and the United States. The band became very popular in Canada, where since 2009 they have made three successful tours, the last being in 2011. The tour included shows in June 2009 at NXNE (North by NorthEast) and Canadian Music Week as well as a performance at Breakfast TV, a major morning show in Toronto. They ended up signing a management agreement with a Canadian music group.
The band launched its first album, Unite, on 21 January 2013. In front of the album release had the band «A Friend in London» been support band for «New Kids on the Block» and «Backstreet Boys» during these group’s different Europe tours. And any band doing something new and compelling should act in accordance with market strategies as the four Ps, and these are Prices, Products, Place and Promotion! And you should listen to your heart and your brain when creating music!
The name of London is derived from a word first attested, in Latinised form, as Londinium. By the first century CE, this was a commercial centre in Roman Britain. The etymology of the name is uncertain.
