What's up, Hivers. Today I join this very interesting initiative of #OCD that invites us to choose between three questions, but it is really difficult for me to choose just one, so I decided to make this post answering these three questions, also, to answer each question is even more difficult because deciding a favorite book or say which book would make a movie is quite complicated and even worse to choose only one book that has directly influenced the change of something in my life, even so I will choose three books that were the first that at the time were those that could be identified with the questions that are exposed here. It should be said that there are many others, but I will only name those that at the moment of reading or after reading could be the ones that answer these questions. The questions are the following: 1. If you were making a movie based on a book, what book would you choose and why? 2. Has a book ever transformed you and your life? 3. What is your favorite book and why? These are the three questions to choose from but I decided to do all three. In addition, I will post a short review of the author of each book, so that you can research what you need to know about the writer and thus nourish your knowledge of each one of them. It should be noted that my choice is also based on books that I have already reviewed and I will be leaving them in the references section so you can go and read them.

Hoy me uno a esta iniciativa muy interesante de #OCD que nos invita a elegir entre tres preguntas, pero realmente es para mí difícil elegir solo una, así que decidí realizar este post respondiendo estas tres preguntas, además, poder responder cada pregunta es aún más difícil ya que decidir un libro favorito o decir a que libro le haría una película es bastante complicado y aun peor elegir solo un libro que haya incidido directamente en el cambio de algo en mi vida, aun así elegiré tres libros que fueron los primeros que en su momento fueron los que se podrían identificar con las preguntas que acá se exponen. Cabe decir, que habría muchos otros pero solo nombrare los que al momento de la lectura o luego de leer puedan ser los que respondan a estas preguntas. Las preguntas son las siguientes: 1. Si estuvieras haciendo una película basada en un libro, ¿qué libro elegirías y por qué? 2. ¿Alguna vez un libro te ha transformado a ti y a tu vida? 3. ¿Cuál es tu libro favorito y por qué? Estas son las tres preguntas de las cuales había que elegir pero decidí hacer las tres. Además, colocaré una pequeña reseña del autor de cada libro, para que investiguen lo necesario del escritor y así alimentar más el conocimiento de cada uno de ellos. Cabe destacar que mi elección también se basa en libros que ya le he realizado un Review el cual se los estaré dejando en la parte de referencias para que así puedan ir y leerlos.
1. If you were making a movie based on a book, what book would you choose and why?
If I were to choose a book to make a movie, I would choose, out of all the ones I have thought of, "Tales of a Castaway" Why? Well, the story of how a Colombian castaway spent more than 10 days at sea and how the mind plays an important role for survival, I know that there are already movies about castaways like "Life Pi" or "The Castaway" but unlike them, this is a true story that beyond being the story of how a sailor spent more than 10 days at sea, this is a true story that beyond being the story of how a sailor of the Colombian Navy suffers the challenges of surviving in the open sea, what leads to this fact is the corruption at a time when Colombia suffered a serious political situation and this book cost the exile of a young "Gabriel García Márquez". This film would not only deal with the suffering of "Luis Alejandro" but also how corruption and smuggling corrupt and damage a nation and the censorship of journalism cost the author of the report that gave life to this book the exile.
Si de elegir algún libro para hacer una película, elegiría de todos los que he pensado, “Relatos de un Náufrago” ¿Por qué? Pues, la historia relatada de como un náufrago colombiano pasó más de 10 días en alta mar y de cómo la mente juega un papel importante para la supervivencia, sé que ya existen películas de náufragos como “Life Pí” o “El Náufrago” pero a diferencia de ellas, esta es una historia real que más allá de ser la historia de cómo un marinero de la armada colombiana sufre los retos de sobrevivir en mar abierto, lo que lleva a este hecho es la corrupción en una época donde Colombia sufría una seria situación política y este libro le costó el exilio a un joven “Gabriel García Márquez”. Esta película no solo trataría del sufrimiento de “Luis Alejandro” sino también de como la corrupción y el contrabando corrompen y dañan una nación y la censura al periodismo le cuestan el exilio al autor del reportaje que dio vida a este libro.
2. Has a book ever transformed yourself and your life?
A book that has transformed my life is the book "Little Memories" by "José Saramago" for its warmth and the way it shows the life of one of the greatest writers in history as a child. Seeing from the sincere point of view of the author, this autobiography gave me a different vision of how a person, a human being just like me, seen until then as a magnificent being, had a common childhood just like any of us, that is, it put me in context that there are no special people or eligible to be successful, we ourselves carve our future and transform it according to our experiences and in this way become what we dream. José Saramago, shows a childhood full of magic within what is common and that child with his experiences and abilities, became a Nobel Prize winner in literature and one of the most influential people in world literature. The influence of this book on me was and still is powerful and being focused on the objectives is what will give us success.
Un libro que me ha transformado a mi vida, es el libro “Pequeñas Memorias” de “José Saramago” por su calidez y su forma de como muestra la vida de pequeño de uno de los más grandes escritores de la historia. Viendo desde el punto de vista sincero del autor esta autobiografía me dio una visión distinta de como una persona, un ser humano tan igual que yo, visto hasta ese momento como un ser magnífico, tuvo una infancia común al igual que cualquiera de nosotros, es decir, me puso en contexto de que no existen personas especiales o elegibles para ser exitosos, nosotros mismos labramos nuestro futuro y lo transformamos según nuestras experiencias y de esta forma llegar a ser lo que soñamos. José Saramago, muestra una infancia llena de magia dentro de lo que es común y ese niño con sus vivencias y capacidades, llegaron a convertirse en un premio nobel de literatura y una de las personas más influyentes de la literatura mundial. La influencia en mí de este libro fue y sigue siendo poderosa y estar enfocados en los objetivos es lo que nos dará éxito.
3. What is your most favorite book and why?
Choosing my favorite book is perhaps a difficult task, because in many ways there are many that can be within what could be said "my favorite" and among them was "The task of the witness" which is an author from Cumana who is also in #Hive @rubiguerra (soon I will do a review) and "Rayuela" by "Julio Cortazar". In this case I chose "Rayuela" because of how incredible it was to read more than one book with only one and for having opened the doors to the world of "Julio Cortazar", an author of magnificent forms, an author who tells dreams in realities, an author who plays hopscotch with the reader with each book. "Hopscotch" for me, of my favorite books, this is my favorite, for its way of carrying the story and how this book unites us with different ways of reading it that go from the traditional way or according to how the author himself guides you from chapter to chapter.
Elegir mi libro favorito es tal vez una tarea difícil, porque en muchos aspectos hay muchos que pueden llegar a estar dentro de lo que se podría decir “mi favorito” y dentro de ellos estaba “La tarea del testigo” que es de un autor cumanés que también está en #Hive @rubiguerra (que próximamente le haré un Review) y “Rayuela” de “Julio Cortazar”. En este caso elegí rayuela por lo increíble que fue leer más de un libro con solo uno y por haberme abierto las puertas del mundo de “Julio Cortazar” un autor de magníficas formas, un autor que relata los sueños en realidades, un autor que juega a la rayuela con el lector con cada libro. “Rayuela” para mí, de mis libros favoritos, éste es mi favorito, por su forma de llevar la historia y de cómo este libro nos une con formas distintas de leerlo que van de la forma tradicional o según como el mismo autor te guía de capítulo en capítulo.
Gabriel García Márquez.
"Gabriel García Márquez" is a Colombian journalist and writer who managed to win the Nobel Prize for Literature thanks to his great contributions in literature not only in Latin America but also worldwide. He has been one of the greatest literary exponents of the region who has great written works known for their quality and incredible grandeur. He is best known for his novel "One Hundred Years of Solitude."
“Gabriel García Márquez” es un periodista y escritor colombiano quien logró hacerse con el premio Nobel de Literatura gracias a sus grandes aportes en la literatura no solo latinoamericana sino también a nivel mundial. Ha sido uno de los mayores exponentes literarios de la región quien tiene grandes obras escritas conocidas por su calidad e increíble imponencia. Es conocido mayormente por su novela “cien años de soledad”.
José Saramago.
Es un escritor portugués nacido en 1922, conocido por ser escritor, novelista, poeta, dramaturgo y periodista, poseedor de excelentes títulos literarios y ganador del premio nobel de literatura en el año 1998. considerado uno de los mejores novelistas, nos ha dejado un material literario impecable que van desde libros de poesía hasta novelas que han logrado incluso ser adaptadas al cine, con participación de directores y actores muy reconocidos.
is a Portuguese writer born in 1922, known for being a writer, novelist, poet, playwright and journalist, holder of excellent literary titles and winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1998. considered one of the best novelists, he has left us a material impeccable literary works that range from poetry books to novels that have even managed to be adapted for film, with the participation of well-known directors and actors.
Julio Cortázar.
"Julio Cortázar" is a writer of Argentine nationality but who was born in Vienna, but at his young age and after several places where he lived in Europe, he arrived in Argentina for a while and settled in France in 1981. He is a dynamic writer, some perhaps they consider it abstract, in my opinion it is just a being that was carried away by the magic of writing. He is a master of the short story, poetry and prose writer of "tales of chronopia and fame" one of his best known books and an excellent speaker.
"Julio Cortázar" es un escritor de nacionalidad Argentina pero que nace en Viena, pero a su corta edad y luego de varias localidades donde vivió en Europa llega a Argentina vive una temporada y se establece en Francia en 1981. Es un escritor dinámico, algunos tal vez lo consideran abstracto, a mi parecer es solo un ser que se dejaba llevar por la magia de la escritura. Es un maestro del cuento, la poesía y la prosa escritor de “cuentos de cronopios y famas” uno de sus libros más conocidos y un orador excelente.

Gabriel García Márquez es uno de mis escritores favoritos.
Debiste haber sido un estudiante muy bueno en esta área. Elegir Rayuela te hace ver como un buen lector. Hay que serlo para apreciarla.
