OCD Community Boost Contest #4: Highlighting Hive Book Club

Authored by @ybanezkim26

It's time for another contest!

I'm so excited to post the announcement of winners of our 3rd contest because we saw another record in terms of number of entries and of course, engagement within The Anime Realm community. Because of that, let's have the 4th contest right away. The winners of the 3rd contest will be announced two (2) days from now, which means I'll post on Sunday (PST). This will give the moderators ample time to decide whose entries stood out.

OCD has been at the forefront of supporting different niche communities in Hive. Under the Community Incubation Program, OCD has been helping community leaders and moderators grow their genre-specific communities through focused curation. As observed in the latest update, communities under the program have grown both in number of subscriptions and in engagements within their members. By highlighting great posts by users in a particular community, they are encouraged to level up their game or maintain the quality of their posts.

To further help communities, OCD is now conducting weekly contests! The aim is to increase subscriptions and engagements by highlighting a particular community for a week. All other communities within the incubation program will carry on with the usual curation activities. With the help of community leaders and moderators, we at OCD will incentivize more those posts within that highlighted community for a week.

great idea, super cool questions - I momentarily imagined what I could write about for 1 or 2... bit ofc #3 is tricky... and endless ;)
now I have only a question: where I can get a spare 12 hours per day, to write all these blogs I need!..

As a strange thing, today I will not have any rule for dinner. I hope you like it and thank you in advance for reading.

Como cosa extraña, hoy no cenaré ninguna regla. Espero les guste y de ante mano gracias por leer.

I Will love to be part of this contest but the rules are not clear or I don't understand them well

This I understood | Esto entendí yo

  1. Do not advertise any sales or publish an entire book.
  2. Write and publish from HiveBlog.
  3. Don't beat around the bush like I always do, focus on the questions and your book. WITHOUT SPOILING
  4. if the writing is good, the language does not matter.
  5. write your article yourself, that is not copy and paste.
  6. if you don't follow the rules, bye.

Which parts of the contest rules are not clear to you?

Are we to summarise a book we read from authors not hive or it doesn't matter the book we summarize

Why would you summarize a book? Answer one of those three questions. There's no mention that you have to summarize a book.

sorry. got the contest requirements better now. the replies were swift. thank you so much

Ah Yes. My niche. Shall we ?!!!!😎

Go ahead! I am pretty sure you have a lot to say 😁

oh I do. 😁

Also, I've being keeping an out but I haven't seen the old books 🙁

I actually mentioned them but you might want to find out why I haven't make any review from the photography books here :

It's mostly because I haven't gathered proper tools to open them since well, they are contagious 😄

Oh, i understand now. Hopefully you'd get those tools soon.

I'm just really anxious

Oh I'm an idiot and didn't read the rules, but I'll do another one anyway if this doesn't suit! I just read the title and went 'oh cool, book review time' - lol.

hahahaha you can always write another one I suppose 😄

Hi, Community this is my entry : Historias de Grandes Pequeños / Stories of Great Little Ones (2006)

Thank you

hi! here is my entry #1. I chose the question 'what book would you choose for making a movie'.
but actually it also works as an answer to any of the questions given!
It is my fave book (one of them), and it did influenced my life (within some frames).
NB. all of the post is in Russian, so its probably mostly for Russian readers. I am not convinced this story was translated into English (but I wish it would be!)

Hi, guys! Thanks for this new contest!

Here is my entry and good luck to everyone!

Hello here I leave you my participation where I decided to talk about my favorite book maybe some have not heard of this book but it is very good with an incredible narration a little peculiar for the delicate way of speaking at that time.

Hi, @ocd! I have a question for you guys: not all posts that contest get your support, right? Even if I have complied with all the rules: voting and supporting the other contestants, reblogging their posts, sharing my own post on Twitter, placing the link to my own post in this post, i.e. complying with all the rules, it doesn't guarantee your support, right? It's a matter of whether they like the post or not? It's just a doubt I have...

This is my entry! Didnt have much time to engage but i will!

Hope you enjoy it! Such a nice -Not mainstream- Fantasy book

I loved this week's theme, it really inspired me to write about a book I love but that I hadn't the chance to review
