Hello Hive,
A few days ago, I went to see Kris to give her the payout reward from her feature on Hive along with contributions from generous Hivers.
I filmed the entire process but unfortunately my camera failed to record the sound properly and I ended up with a loud buzzing sound instead.
Kris' reaction was great to witness so I decided to make this video with a voice over to share with you. I still smile watching her receiving the money.

I'm happy to see her jumping excitedly when she received the reward haha!
Her "jumping around" reaction is exactly why I had to make a small video from the footage. I needed to share it for everyone on Hive to see it and especially the main people, like you, who contributed to this joy.
@discoveringarni and I couldn't help smiling while editing the video.
This is one of the reasons I do it, bringing happiness to one person at a time.

You're welcome. I'd love to do something similar to what you are doing in my city. I believe that reaching out to people will be good for HIVE and will help our communities especially with the pandemic situation.
I was actually discussing about it with @discoveringarni last night and we thought that it would be great to maybe involve other Hivers once in a while to portray people from their areas.
This is why, as a test, and even though it will still be a person from the south of Cebu, @discoveringarni will be in charge of randomly selecting the subject for the next feature. She will do the interview, take the pictures as well as write the article. This account will then post it on Hive PH.
If it goes well, maybe you could do the succeeding feature? 🙂 It would be interesting to see different places and styles of presentation.
We believe though that it would be better to keep it as a 1 feature a week so as to not get the Hive tired of seeing those post and to keep the engagement.
Sounds good. I'd be happy to do a post for you with a person from my province. :) It's just about right to have a once a week feature, but maybe test out the response from the HIVE, the frequency of uploading posts can be a tricky statistic to gauge.

Wow Kris and her sister have a very similar life to My sister Marlisa and I...we also are selling Barbeque street foods in The Philippines.We are living on Jao Island in Bohol.I just posted a vlog about making and selling Barbeque here :)...You even used the same theme music that I used for some of the intro and outro to my other vlogs!

I have read a few posts you have made and it is a very good and interesting project.
I have been wondering what kind of content I can bring to HIVE .Maybe I can be involved in this whoaretheyph project to?
I could find one random person from Jao Island or Talibon each week and interview them and when the post pays out I can film myself giving them the post rewards.
I am fluent in English and Tagalog so it's easy for me to interview local people and share their story here.
Just like I mentioned in one of the comments on this post, we are probably going to try and have Hivers from different areas of the Philippines do a feature for #WhoAreTheyPhilippines with people from their area once in a while. We'll try and focus on the contributors first to do some features but if it works out well, maybe you could do one of those one day. I'm all for discovering different areas and people.
