Welcome back to my blog where I'm going to share a digital portrait of a famous hive user The Yeti who is a very nice man, a nice content creator in hive and he is behind the @innerblocks project.
Let's see the completed art.
This is the digital portrait of the yeti and I've found the reference photo from discord where the man himself gave me the picture after I asked for it. I really enjoyed working on this portrait but I'm not sure yet whether he'll like it or not as I couldn't make it that nice.
Steps.
I used Adobe Illustrator CS6 to do this. I used the pen tool for the main parts of the art but I had to take help from some other tools as well.
At first, I went for the beard-mustache then I worked on the face, and then I worked on the remaining parts.
At first, I went for the beard-mustache at first where I tried to give multiple colors shade but then it seemed too complex so I made it clean. Then I drew the lip, the eyes-eyebrows, and the nose with some color shading. In the eyes, I had to work on my own in some parts as one eye was not properly visible.
Then I worked on the face and then the hat. I wished to give some pattern on the hat but it seemed harder and I was feeling lazy so I kept it clean.
Then I went for the clothes where I drew the hood at first with six-seven colors shading and then I colored on one part of the jacket he worn.
Then I finished the portrait by drawing the other part of the jacket and one hand of the man touched his head. There were some accessories on the other part of the jacket but it seemed so complex so I ignored them and made the jacket as I liked.
So... I just presented you with a digital portrait of the yeti that I digitalized.
