πG is GROWING a vegetable GARDEN in pots π
I love cooking using fresh and locally grown vegetables.
Growing vegetables in pots is an easy way to experience fresh flavors of home-grown vegetables.
I am no expert in gardening, but I know that I don't need a large plot of land to grow vegetables. A small space will do.
I chose the easiest ones to grow and only a few plants.
In the photo are: tomato, green bell pepper, and eggplants.
I cook only for myself. There are a fair amount of tomatoes, bell peppers and eggplants that can be harvested from just these vegetable plants.

Have you started your garden this year, the Mrs. has one, and the plants are starting to takeoff finally!!

Yes, I did see the greenhouse! I like that size, it appears manageable... but I will stick to pots, hehe. I am looking forward to seeing Mrs @silvertops vegetable garden!

Hey sis! Nice plants you have there! Looks like you will get quite the bounty from them. I have a makeshift greenhouse, but if it doesn't warm up soon, all the little blossoms might be or naught. I love cooler weather, don't get me wrong.....I don't want super hot weather, but my tomatoes, corn and tomatillos need a little natural heat, lol! Take care and thanks for sharing your garden. It gets pretty hot here in the summers, I don't know if the eggplants will survive. I am germinating Okra seeds because I am curious how this plant grows, and also I want to try cooking with them. I have not seen fresh okra in the food store. I already harvested a couple of tomatoes, and I am so pleased with that plant!

Nice one Saver. I'm still out of touch on communities here on hive. I dont know where to post stuff. Good luck with your garden, I too love plants and gardening.
And you are right, you do t need a lot of space, one 18" pot can grow an every day salad if you do it right.
I'd love to post about precious metals every day, because it is a passion. But my life and yours are not just about metals. After doing it for several years now, stacking to me has part of what I do and just in the background of my every day life. Then of course, we have our professional work some do not talk about, and the nature of my work is something that I should not really talk about (secret agent stuff, hehehe!). The blockchain enough peeps who pretend to be more knowledgeable than they are, and yet there are those like me who pretend (or not) to be dumb and dumber! But flowers, clouds, trees, plants, the ocean. anything about mother nature and food... they are appreciated by all, and most communities in the list (except Silver Gold Community) are devoted to subject matters around those. Let's do Letter H together next week, my friend @fat-elvis.

A happy fault! I would have harvested and eaten all the veggies by the time letter "T"for tomatoes, and "P" for peppers come around, and "E" has past, but wait!!!! Eggplant has 2 "G"s. Oh well.... π€£

I'm kinda loose on the rules because the aim is to have fun, so your post is appreciated anyway π Now you know for the next time you want to participate, you 'd have to post 6...and you'll multiply the fun x 6 ! π
I remember my first day of school when I was so eager and happy to be in a class with kids like me, and nothing else mattered π, until the teacher says.."ummm, did you not read the rules, girls on the right"... and all the while I was wondering πwhy I was the only girl on the left!!!π€£ . Sorry.

I am mostly growing in pots this year as the weeding became way too much for me.
