There is always a solution to unexpected and unwanted situations. For the dirty clothes too. There are even two solutions for that, as when you stay without clean clothes you can wash them or go naked. Well, that second one would not be very comfortable for everyone, and it's not that warm anymore so let's stick to the first option - wash them. That's what I am doing right now, more precisely the big washing machine is doing it for me in the laundry. I don't usually use this service, as I can could do it at home. I bring here just the big winter quilt which is bigger than the home washing machine, but this time it's not the stuff I am waiting for to be cleaned.
Finding the alternative solution for the laundry was "inspired" by the weird things that happened on Friday morning. Still enjoying the comfort of the warm bed, I heard the thunders. A storm was approaching, but it was still a nice feeling as I like to listen to the rain and even the music that the sky makes when I am inside, protected. The thunders were coming closer, one storm passed, and the sun came out a bit, but in the end, the black clouds made a U-turn and came back. Another session of shower, thunders and then an extremely loud sound that scared the hell out of me!! Luckily we unplugged the sensitive devices, but the kitchen light decided to become a light jockey. It was going on and off several times. At first, I thought I am hallucinating as we have not touched the switch. But ok, light and dark played their game and later they stopped.
The loud sound that we heard was actually the impact of the lightning that struck the palm tree in the neighbourhood. I smelled the smoke and when I went out, I saw the burning tree. How it was possible? The heavy rain didn't stop but the tree was on fire. The firemen came later, a lot later. A house would burn down for that time, not a tree... Anyway, the morning was interesting at least.
The washing machine was doing its job in the meantime... until it went crazy too. A proper DJ playing loud beats, not very melodic but rhythmically stable music is what I had the opportunity to hear. Maybe they played together, with the kitchen light. Something was not going well there, although the machine was already old and loud, this time it was not just the thing it normally used to do. It was also jumping, maybe dancing and then in one moment, everything ceased. It died.
Apparently, it also messed up the electricity fuse for the water heater, but I didn't realize it until I took a shower in cold water...
Interesting morning, right?
But it was not the whole program we got from the amusement service called "Ghost in the apartment". Just out of nowhere, the air conditioner in one of the rooms started switching on and off, as it likes. In the moment when it likes. It has no pattern or anything I can understand why it is happening.
It is Monday. It is still doing it and for this one, I don't have a solution (yes, I have, I shut down the fuse for the ac, but it is not a permanent solution). The ghost will have to show itself and make a deal with me. He will have to leave the apartment, but for now, he is having fun 😂
At least, the clothes are washed for now, and the sun is shining. I mean, it is not even a proper rant if I see things from the positive side, so does this post belongs to this community? But as I will have to go and buy a new washing machine, that is a task suitable for complaining!
And, any idea what to do with the air conditioner?
I love the sounds of heavy rain and thunder storms as well buy the tree on fire wouldn't be good. I'm glad that it didn't catch the house on fire. It's a good thing that it was raining and everything else was wet to stop other things from catching.
Yes, luckily it was just the tree that burned down, and the rain probably didn't allow it to spread. However, I have never seen a fire provoked by a lightning that close to me ⚡

You're up against some pretty strong forces both in and outside of your apartment. I would suggest playing a very dramatic aggressive piece of music to scare them away. The battle of piano vs ghost. Let's see who wins!!!

Well, to me that is enough to have a little rant. Buying a new washing machine cuts the budget pretty bad. I hope the ghost is fed up soon :) It would drive me nuts these lights on and off or the airco lol.

Because I belong to the lot that can't brave walking around naked anywhere else other than the safety of a locked room, I clean mine too. But mine are cleaned by hand and a few plastic basins. I have done it in a river when I was younger too...
Soon I might need to invest in one as my old bones are no longer interested in taking part in this activity/exercise! I hope you find ways to force the ghost to evacuate xD

Lightning and electricity surges are definitely a difficult thing! It can cause all kinds of headaches for sure lol. I love a good thunderstorm though!

I’ve heard several stories of lightning striking stuff, but I’ve never seen one myself or heard any story of one happening close to me. Not that I want something bad to happen, but I want to see something like it someday. What lightning looks like when it’s made contact with something “alive” like a tree.

And when a lightning strikes, it's accompanied by very loud sound. A few months ago, in one another storm, lightning hit the house of my parents in law, so they had to say goodbye to the TV and the computer.
3speak. The title and tag sections are grayed out? Are you correctly logged in? If you do everything as before, maybe it's a problem with 3speak. Then it's better to wait until it's solved by them.
I have never had that problem, though it's a while now that I haven't published a video so don't know how the things work (or not) lately. Hope it is resolved soon 🙂

I also loved listening to the music created by the thunder and rain but still I can't refrain from worrying since those lightnings choses no one when it strikes. I experience a ground of it strikes before as I fix something on the roof while it's striking. I'm inside and yet I felt it. Scary.
As for the ghost, you should make a deal with it or them that they should help you do the laundry or else they will leave your place.😅 or they play you a piece in your piano as you do the things in your place for you to be relax..hihi

If this ever happens to me, I would be freakingly scared. I used to watch Ghost movies while I was younger, and any time electronics switches on and off itself, then Ghosts comes to my mind.
Another sign of a ghost, a thunder striking a tree... Omoor! I would probably keep myself in the closet still everything boils down.

The delivery guy just called a few minutes ago that the new washing machine will arrive in the afternoon. At least one thing will be replaced :))
