Yes, as you say, daffs are vibrant...... and yet even if one is vibrant.....one can still have humility. What is the saying...something about do not get a big head....it is up to us whether we will get carried away with our own vibrancy or remain vigilant to the truth of reality.

These daffs are from the shoppe....just as you say.....looking forwards to having loads of them. Yes...winter always wears out its welcome....it is snowing as I write. It never wants to say 'good-bye' ^__^

Humility is one of the greatest features of the one's character, one of the best example is Jesus, of course we do not know exactly how he was but from the Bible and the historical document he has been presented as such character. In everyday like especially in big cities with fast growing community and daily competition it is hard for such feature of character to survive but still day by day I meet those wonderful people, may be because I live in a small area and people here value and appreciate each other's been there.
Wonderful Daffodils, once I have collected few from garden and put in a vase, the scent that my one had was so strong and very strange, I did not really like it. Since then I prefer them in my garden, it is better for them too :)

Oh yes.....Christ Jesus is the perfect example....if one believes the Bible to be true and I do.....then one would believe what is said of Christ Jesus......and indeed He was humble......He humbled Himself in obedience to God the Father.
These ones are from the shoppes and really have no scent at all......yet there is no prettier sight than to see them waving in the fields.....as William Wordsworth saw them.

Well, I waited a bit to comment because I wanted to think a bit longer on this principle.
Objectivity is facts without emotion (usually) and subjectively is opposite to that and depends solely on a person's tastes or feelings.
So proof of humility (respectful, meek, modest, not boastful) would show itself regardless of circumstance or emotion which is being objective.
Now trying to tie this principle to the subjectivity of the daffs, as you called them, I'm stymied :) Unless the point is you either love them or you don't. :)
I love these particular daffodils - they are almost like a double daffodil.
