As some of you might have noticed Project Steemfat is suffering a bit.

After Lisbon, it all has gone slightly downhill.

I did go to the gym 3 times last week but I have indulged too much.

It's hard to deny it, the blockchain doesn't lie.

Last night it happened again....

I celebrated the goal I reached and I just could not do it with a cup of tea.

I shared a bottle of red with Bianca. Fall off the Wagon.

I am busy with work and now on top of that, even more, time is spent with blockbrothers projects. But I did manage to go to the gym yesterday and the workout was great. Climb on the Wagon.

I do try to find time every day. (I have no clue how my friends with kids do this...btw)

Today I sent a message to a friend who I work out with on Tuesday night to confirm our appointment @ 20:00.

He sent me back 1 line, 'I don't feel like it today'.

I couldn't blame him. It was raining, it was dark. He must have been tired from work.

Hell, I can come up with a thousand reasons to not want to go to the gym :)

It's just not in my nature to blame others much.

It takes to much energy plus, in the end, it's not up to others whether you get fit or not.

So I dragged myself to the gym tonight and did my exercises. And did it well.

Now I'm sitting here. Writing this story and talking to the blockbrothers on my laptop. We just released a small update.

I also saw Bianca putting some beers in the fridge earlier this evening.

I somehow feel I deserve one.

I worked around 12 hours today.

And this is the struggle.

Fall off the wagon, climb on the wagon, fall off the wagon, climb on the wagon...

I guess we do what we can.

My wagon broke years ago under the immense strain of the weight. Problem solved! :)

That is the story of life. Climb up on the wagon. Fall off the wagon. Rinse and repeat hundreds of times. We all do it. Not only with dieting and exercise. It is no crime, so don't beat yourself up over it. And when you have kids, the dynamics change again. But somehow we manage and look back on it and think "how the heck did I do that!"

My dear, keep the spirit and go to the gym. I do remember somebody else saying: I deserve a drink (or two). Climb on the wagon!!!

I remember him too, lol. I will keep going to the gym don't worry. Just writing about the struggle. I guess it can be anything. Cookies, candy you name it.

For the excellent work you want a reward! Help yourself.

It's good to see you have the will power to commit to your workouts but maybe some small tweaks to your eating habits may help you a lot with you goals. I, for example, have given up sugar almost entirely and it has made a massive difference. Keep putting in the hard work :)

yes i agree with your thoughts it is a struggle and it needs so much dedication to stick to exercise routines and i am glad to see you again go to gym and start exercise, doing regular exercise is no doubt a great course and if we just stick to this course we surely see good results, wishing you all the best for all your future endeavors! I have also notice that it's been a while you went to gym, because it now more 3 than weeks you share your experience in the gym on your blog.

This is really Kool. It's not been long you guys told us about the steemify app, and then you told us again about the plans you have for the future, and now an update. Mehn you guys are the definition of passion for the steemit community. It gets better when people understand that all this work is being put into an app that is free, making people realize that it's passion that drives @blockbrothers.
Good work guys, you are an inspiration.

Congrats on your achievements and i am highly motivated to pursue my dreams and aspiration. You have shown us that. From mum's recovery to success of steemify(best thing to happen to steemit this year), to the investment that is paying off now in 5 digits, to your 100k target and so on. I know you have other projects coming up and we can't wait for them to be unleashed.

This is how it usually is for any big life change! If you can get back on the wagon enough times, it will stick. I doubt that anybody is able to be perfect and switch to new healthier habits without ever making a mistake.

And besides - some wine at night isn't so bad.

Same here @exyle I just cant find the time between work steemit friends etc if you ever discover the secret from your friends with kids on how they do it please let me know lol

too much meat will make you gain faster and potatoes don't help either .. als je meer groen eet of kippen vlees in plaats van rood .. hoef je niet meer naar de gym te gaan geloof me .. ik zeg maar alleen ..

I was just wondering, if sharing A bottle of wine with Bianca is falling of the wagon, what class would steeming be, being that while steeming, you are powering up, and powering is synonymous with press up. Do we take powering up as a steemfat activity.😁

Wow. Awesome one there. You are really an all round guy. Only if i could keep fit. I wish there was a shortcut, but like you said, its not up to others if you arw fit or not. It takes hardwork and persistence. A point i am taking home was thw statement made by your friend. i dont feel like
I know there was rain and all that, but i took a message from there. There would be reasons foe us to change our minds and forget a planned activity because an "i dont feel like " was present whether it be from our supportive friends or even ourselves. More importantly: How many times have we listened? How many times did we let “I don’t feel like it” decide the course of our actions? How many times were we glad that we made such a decision?
We have choices and that’s not always a good thing because we can resort to the path of least resistance, to the path of least effort and that would be the “I don’t feel like it” path.
I am so happy that you passed an important lesson personally to me of being disciplined with schedules and planned activities even though there is a reason not to feel like.

This is really Kool. I never imagined you to be a guy that dragged himself to the gym. Yes we all would like not to go to the gym, but seeing your huge and muscular stature, I was seeing you as someone who hit the gym with a less resistive nature.
And to @blocktrades, you guys are really doing a good job, an update already, that is really a wowing news. You guys are really an inspiration to us all.

Maybe we shoud get an app that gives direct notification once you are going out of line. Haha.
But its a good way to burn down some fat accumulated after the series of fun you had from your friends visitations to hangouts and all that. You are doing great i must say. Keep it up.
Glad foe that achievement yesterday. Once in a while we just decide to have fun and fall of the wagon. How did it feel like.

I believe steemfat is a project that would elongate the lives of many steemians. We have to spread this word. Majority of steemians spend an average of 12-14 hours sitting in their chair, operating their computer. And from scientific discovery, When you stop moving for extended periods of time, it's like telling your body it's time to shut down and prepare for death.
When you sit, blood flows slower and muscles burn less fat, which makes it easier for fatty acids to clog your heart.it leads to a higher possibility of being prone to a greater risk of developing heart disease.

So, let's help our steemians live long enough to both help make steemit community a better place by contributing to this community, and also to enjoy the fruit of their labor

Great way to celebrate the goal achieved. Someone here might say, why is he celebrating just for achieving that. You may not notice, but each day there is something that you have accomplished, whether it’s a small, seemingly unimportant matter or something quite big.
It is really important to recognize the small achievements that get you through the day and onto the next one. It is the small achievements that enable you to take one step forward towards your ultimate goal. Sometimes it may seem like a very long journey but taking small steps in the right direction creates sustainable and long term success. This is what you have done @exyle and it is commendable. You know, you really brought up a very important topic here - steemfat exercising. A lot of steemians need this so much cause majority of us sit too long in front of the screen. One major problem that can be caused by too much sitting is diabetics. Yes I said diabetics. This line really got me opening my mouth. It's really rare to find people working that long. You sure deserve that beer.
And you still found out time to hit the gym. That is really awesome. At least no steemian would have an excuse for not keeping fit, since a person can work 12hours and still hit the gym.

Fall of the wagon, climb on the wagon. A very deep phrase for me. I really get where youare coming from. It doesn’t really matter which wagon you fell off, and how often you have fallen off before. You are free to climb on the wagon. You know which wagons you want to climb. Just do it. You will notice that you are welcome there, so i guess you took your "never give up" and always work hard mindset to the gym. I liked when you said you dragged yourself to the gym, even though your friend wasnt available. That takes serious determination and i salute you.

I get you @exyle. Someone who does exercise to burn of fat, told me that doing it is like tores to her that is why she is not enthusiastic about.

So i now figure that if the reason why you are doing exercise is to burn of fat, it might be difficult for you to keep up, but if it is something you are passionate about, you will do it with ease. So which side do you fall on now?

You know this is my first time of coming across the word steemfat,since am new on steemit.
So I went over to google and checked it up, and found it out to be more like your keeping fit blog for steemfest 2 in Lisbon ,which you probably continued after the steemfest(just a little heads up for newbies like me too)
I feel the reason why steemfat is suffering is because you are much more busy now, working really hard on steemify, and you even said an update is out, showing that you guys are really working round the clock to give the steemit community the best.
Am glad you've found out time for the gym, even though your schedule is really tight.

You know, life is all about falling of the wagon and climbing back on it. It's not only in the case of exercise, but in all areas of life. Sometimes we miss our targets in life, but we still have the opportunity to get back on.
Thank God it's not

'fall of the bridge or fall of the skyscraper'

But rather

'fall of the wagon'

And since a wagon is close to the ground, and it's not a moving wagon either, we can easily climb back unto the wagon.

Don't ever give up in what you do, whether it be exercise, or writing posts on steemit, or learning a second language, or writing a program for an app. Don't ever settle on the floor, but rather

'climb back on the wagon'

I honestly think that multiple times a week: how do people with kids do that. And then also even sleep next to it, or at least try so.

I do believe that if you feel like deserving a reward after a hard day, you should take it. If you wont do it, in a couple of weeks you will be miserable and onuitstaanbaar. Take the red wine, tell yourself its good for your circulation ;)

As for the beers i think i deserve one too. I was playing cuphead and struggling with Djimmi last night when I got off work (at like 3 in the morning). Seriously, I entered world 2 with 10 fails, and before going to bed I was at 39. Tried today tho and beat him my first try. 😊

The trick is to make sure your wheels of the wagon aren't too big!

That way it's not a big climb up, and it doesn't hurt too much when you fall off....

My pant leg is caught on the back of the wagon and the wagon is being driven by three fast horses and it's dragging me along a road filled with rocks.

i ate eggs and greenbeans for lunch and then ate two creamfilled cupcake things and oh yeah i forgot i had two pieces of pumpkin pie and i didnt exercise. i hate my job

It does indeed sounds great ,whatever we do it is upto us and the way you are giving importance in work out looks good.
