Sup, my Steemit silver stackers out there! Just thought I'd share my unboxing video of the silver purchase that I made, LITERALLY 30 minutes before Bitcoin prices crashed a few days ago. Talk about INSANELY LUCKY!
Super proud of myself to actually have timed something out perfectly. Even as I type this blog post, BC and ETH have taken a small dip today. I hope you metals people out there are taking the opportunity to pull off some of the profit money that's been made with your crypto currencies to keep stacking this UNDERVALUED asset when your cryptos are up.
And if you're not a metal stacker, hopefully this video of some shiny will encourage you to look into the metal manipulation that's been going on for decades, and why it's imoprtant to stack TANGIBLE assets as well as having a healthy crypto portfolio. Enjoy!

Nicely done fellow steemian! I was looking forward to the same thing, once BTC reached 3k...Only thing i didn't reazlize is a ACH transfer takes a f$#@$$@king fort-night to complete. I'm still waiting for my BTC which are $600 down since i bought them and i'll actually get them tomorrw ;(. I'm new to the crypto so lesson learned i guess lol. Good one on you tho!
That blows dude! I was always afraid of that happening to me, you know, waiting on some 3rd party for my shit to go through. So I researched around and ended up going with my current method, which is transferring BC to my Trezor wallet and then just directly sending it to JM Bullion when i'm ready to purchase. Takes less than 2 minutes! Good luck next time. BC will go up again while metals are suppressed. You'll get ur day in the sun. :)
Sounds good, I have yet to make a worthwhile enough purchase to trade on until this one too. Here I am with my pud in my hands waiting for my f'king BTC so i can move it! Thanks for the advice on the trezor and i have a bullion dealer that takes BTC too. So looks like i'll be set next time....Thx again!

Is gold bullion the best metal to go long on? I'm just starting to think about this and was looking at bars on jmbullion after reading your post.
I'd stick with silver bullion. More upside potential. Read up on Mike Maloney, or just check him out on YouTube. That guy'll make you want to sell the clothes off ur back to buy whatever silver u can get ur hands on.

Awesome get - way to maximize your positions and get some hard assets you can hold! Precious metals beat the fiat currencies we use to buy the with every time! And cryptos are a great investment too in my opinion. Happy to see you've timed it right, congrats my fellow stacker. Saluted and upvoted :D

Agreed. I will say, I have to wonder: with all the paper derivatives suppressing the metals markets, the high frequency trading utilized by investment banks, the Plunge Protection Team & Exchange Stabilization Fund, I'm wondering if the market will EVER correct to fair value. But I do truly believe paper fiat currencies are in their dying days and eventually the metals should break through again. Time will tell. I will keep stacking until my dying days, I can tell you that with conviction. Let's keep it going buddy.
One day it will happen. If metals were still in the 30-50's then i wouldn't be as happy about the purchase. But with silver below $16 it's a no-brainer. The day will come famcore, the day will come.....
I'm right there with you - right now it's a great buying opportunity. But with silver even at $24 + an ounce I'd still get as much as I could get my hands on because it would still be majorly undervalued.
I know I'm just a "minnow" in the world of precious metals stackers, but to me every milligram of a PM is, quite literally "precious" to me, and I see the true value of it. I'm around 30 years old and have been collecting for just shy of 10 years so I also know I've got time on my side. I'm ready to ride it out and keep stacking lol my family thinks I'm crazy but so do everyone else. We'll see who is crazy 15 years from now ;)
Same here. Been stacking since i was 25. I'm 35 now. Not 1 of my friends or family stack, even after 10 years of explaining how the world and finance works. For God sakes, i JUST got my wife into stacking silver. She's only got 5 ounces so far, but it's a start. Plus, she always has my stack to keep hers company.
Between you and me, it was another way for me to accumulate in a certain way...with HER $. Lol. I take it any way i can!

we are in very similar situations - I bought my girlfriend a nice 3 ounce piece of silver for Christmas last year and have been trying to convince her to put a little money aside regularly to keep adding to it. She hasn't yet but she will come around (I am trying to get her on Steemit too, but no dice... yet). Great job on that! I did exactly the same. Last week I sold 1 BTC right before the price dropped $500. Pulled the money out ot the ATM and bought myself 50 Silver coins and one Gold coin with it. Still have some money left to buy something else! :D

I think I will stick to my ETH for a while. Missed out on the big move. Sold a lot after the hard fork. But I always keep some coins, just in case the price will go crazy, so I still have some skin in the game. I think ETH will reach $1000 easily.
