Next Stop For Bitcoin $5,000 and Beyond. By Gregory Mannarino

At the time I am writing this article, Bitcoin is nearing the $2800 mark.

If you know my work I have been talking a lot about Bitcoin (and other cryptocurrency's) not just in my own articles, but in several recent interviews I have done as well-and every one of these instances I have being outlining for people that with regard to the price of Bitcoin, we haven't seen anything yet.

The fact of the matter is simple.
Those in the know understand that they must diversify away and out of fiat currency, especially the US dollar which continues to fall under pressure.

Will Bitcoin perhaps pull back from its current high? Sure it could, but I would view this as a screaming buying opportunity because in my professional opinion, gauging from not just the recent price action with regard to Bitcoin, (and other cryptocurrency), the Smart Money will continue to move into Bitcoin for the foreseeable future.

I mean with silver, gold and bitcoin you could produce some serious wealth for your self. Man I glad I started following you years back. I have learned so much from you, keep up the awesome work....

Thank you my friend. I got your back..

I see that you are calling tops on Bitcoin similar to the way you set tops on everything you short term trade at your web blog. Make sure you check out my bitcoin daytrade blog. 18 winners in 19 days of trading with a banked gain of $796/coin so far. All this whilst I issued a long term "short n hold" call on Bitcoin on Th. And I thought it was ME who set off the selling frenzy. I didn't realize you said "bitcoin goes to $5000!" as it traded at $2500. I will give you half the credit. fair enough? :-)

Bitcoin is doing what gold and silver should be doing !!

In do time my friend, just be patient. Stack it high, while its low

There will be time for silver too. We need more patience

I've missed the bitcoin opportunity (only have like a tenth of a coin) but at least I got in on silver when spot was £9.50!! (don't know what that is in dollars)

Any time is a good time to get into silver. One day you will see the price rise so fast, that it wont matter what you bought it for.
Keep stacking my friend

Your prediction came true and Bitcoin soared exceeding $20000 but now it is dropping.

Thank you for introducing me to Crypto. I heard Jeff Berwick talk about it and Greag Hunter as well. You were the deciding factor. I signed on and am glad I did. I think with silver, gold some stockpiling and some crypto you should be ok. OH and yes l have to include Mr. Greg Mannarino in that list. Without him we would be no where. Thanks Greg.

I found steemit by listening to a report you gave on youtube. Thank you! In 2012 I was ready to invest in bitcoin (got my wallet ready) the next day I heard about a hack in bitcoin and thought maybe it wasn't a good idea. You know what? I would have been a multi millionare if i had gone through with it. So yesterday I purchased bitcoin and I do hope you are correct that I will go up to $5000. Thanks You!

This is the most incredible time period in human history over the last 100 years. We're witnessing massive bubbles forming in almost every asset imaginable regardless of whether that asset is tangible or intangible. The biggest take away from this is that the republican presidency is a sign of a declining dollar. I've outlined this previously on my blog, but here it is again in case you haven't seen it.

DXY_Republicans.jpg

Notice how i've marked the various drops in the DXY index with A,B,C,D and E, these corresponding annotations are for the following presidents:

A. Richard Nixon
B. Ronald Reagan
C. George Bush Sr
D. George W Bush
E. Donald Trump

Notice the trend for each republican president? We could very well see the next dollar drop during the Trump administration (identified as 'E' in my graph) and could very well see the next recession around the corner.

What does this mean? Well, depending on your favorite method of asset allocation, it certainly means that buying cryptocurrencies is a good alternative, but Greg, I agree, we should see a correction in Bitcoin and I'm hoping it happens soon, it's a good opportunity to buy the dip and hold long term as we enter bear market cycles and potentially even a war cycle into 2021. As Chinese and Japanese investors look for more ways to allocate their capital, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies (especially Steemit as it is backed by a visible online community) will begin to see rising new highs on a daily basis.

I've always thought it's a huge mistake for the American people to lay the success or failure of the economy at the feet of any President. It's Congress who's been robbing us all blind for the last 100 years. Reagan looks to have broken your trend. And, you could say that Clinton came in on the former fiscal policies which were put in place by the Republicans before him.

Cryptocurrencies will destroy the bankers and end the manipulation of precious metals. All PM investors should also own cryptos

bitcoin is exploding because you can't print it like the FED is printing US dollars! And you CANNOT short sell bitcoin like gold futures.

So basically the cornerstones of manipulation are being ripped away from the manipulators. This really will be the biggest transfer of wealth in history.

Greg, I have followed you for a few years now and respect your calls. Bitcoin has been climbing unbelievably fast and almost straight up and nothing goes straight up. I get that people all over the world are waking up to the problems we have with debt based currencies and trying to find somewhere to put their money/wealth to make it through whatever is coming. My questions are how do now when we are approaching the top and what is the easiest way to diversify your bitcoin holding?

Wow! My brain from thinking about the $5,000...The main thing - not to pass this stop! haha

Lets do a fire stress test now with some forms of money..
-Light a match under a fiat dollar bill. What happens? Burns away your left with a dirty pile of ash.
-Now light a match under a $1 silver eagle. What happens? It gets hot - still there.
-Now try lighting a match under a bitcoin. What happens? Can't do it unless you were foolish enough to burn your only copy of a paper wallet :)
-I think after this we can conclude there are some major parallels to the dollars physical weakness and the dollars actual value.

Buy Ethereum and hold. Add to your holdings as funds become available. When Eth hits a ratio of 2:1 or 2 ETH to 1 BTC then swap half your ETH for BTC and sit back and enjoy the ride up for the next 4 years. Do not sell or trade your position ever - simply Buy and Hold.

I should have bought some.

Buy ETH while u still can

I'm a bit slow. I have some silver. Might do steem next then bitcoin&ETH. Saving like crazy to buy, but need some cash for emergencies.

Do not Buy steem. Buy ETH only. Depending on how much silver you have - sell a little and Fund your position in ETH (ethereum). That's how I got into BTC. Then I swapped my BTC (most of it) for ETH. ETH will outperform BTC over the next year. When ETH hits a ratio of 2 ETH to 1 BTC then swap half your ETH for BTC. It is still very early in the cryptos. You can still make a small fortune but the longer you wait - the smaller your fortune.

I agree with you that Bitcoin can and probably will hit $5000. I expect a pullback first. At that moment I will buy some more.

Not too likely🔹BTC is telling you in real time how worthless that last three cents on every dollar is worth around the world. Which is to say zilch.

We will see. In the mean time my bet is on the alts.

You and everyone else. I think thats why it won't pull back, not enough to make ppl sell

Just wondering what Bitcoin will be worth when the Fiat Debt Notes crash...
@pocketechange

Exponentially higher.

I would say easily 40k per in a year or two. Chinese are in it.

Both US dollor and digital currencies created on thin air,but only difference is that USD is controlled and manipulated by government and federal reserve, and digital currencies are controlled by users itself with help of some complex algorithms.
But still if we talk about safe asset both USD and digital currencies fall way behind Physical gold and silver.

...however, first BIG correction

Let's play a simple game of hypothesis...

What is $7.63Trillion (in total global physical currency) ÷ 21 million units ( total BTC available) = ?
***let's reduce the exaggeration of this a little by saying only half of the total of global currency only managed to be converted into BTC's ***

Logic dictates that a 21ml cup can only hold its intended volume

Forget the Bubble! Currently only less than 10% of the Global populous owns some fractions or up to 1 unit BTC or higher...and I'm sure that most of the Economic minded people here can understand the concept of "How to create a bubble economy" & #Bitcoin is far from attaining anywhere near that classification

@marketreport @Gregory I'm a big fan of your dedicated, intuitive and constructive contributions to Educate as many people to being their own Central Bank.
Hope you don't mind me sharing my wild rants sbove
Thank you.

I've been hearing a lot about Etherium the past several weeks, and how it's block chain is superior to bitcoin. I'm curious, is there a limit on the ETH that can be issued? Also I hear a ETH is being backed by companies like Microsoft, Monaco bank, and other companies. Is this the establishments version of bitcoin?

on ETH is no limit YET. BTC is limited to 21 million.
and yes, i think, ETH is backed by the companies, because of the first point.

I just upvoted and tweeted your post: https://twitter.com/planetmindbody

Bitcoin is going parabolic... possibly not much of a pullback. I see a snowball forming.

Hope it goes down first so we can buy more :)

Current spot price of BTC really won't make a difference when it hits $10,000+ per coin. You will look back and curse the fact that you waited for a slightly lower spot, instead of just getting in on it.

any ideas on how steemit may play into all of this? Will it's value rise too you think?

Steemit is going to skyrocket! Big potential here.

This buying frenzy is totally crazy. This is a huge rally driven by desperate buyers. The premiums being paid are unbelievable.

please elaborate on: "especially the US dollar which continues to fall under pressure"

What about the possibility that big banks and big money institutions are buying up bitcoin to bring the price up, and then dump their coin? Do you think that would crash the crypto-currencies, or would they keep going? Would the Free Market keep the prices going up after a price correction?
It sounds like adoption is still pretty low. Any thoughts?

Nope. They don't understand cryptocurrencies. Plus they are too busy manipulating everything else.

Not that I'm "not" on board, cause I am but as Mr. M has taught us there's about 1.5 trillion of tangible fiat floating around in the world for everyone(actually printed). We have 20 trillion in debt that we're told of and who knows what the bets on the bets(derivatives) are at this time. My point is the actual backed by nothing (except for our military and peoples faith) $'s is really, in essence, already digital right? It seems that we were already, at some point in the past, pushed in the direction of a digital, non existent medium of exchange. These coins, countless numbers of different named and valued cryptos keep popping up. Again, I'm on board, but doesn't it seem strange that yet again we are working for something not in hand? Maybe in the future "all" the cryptos merge into one by design and at this point there is the old cliche' .... a "one world currency." Could this be the plan? Maybe I'm just paranoid or playing the devil's advocate but I do like to stir the pot for other's thoughts. Let's not forget that this all works digitally through the internet that "they" built and "supply" for us which only works via power from the grid. I don't ever think the "whole" world will lose power at once but there are issues with the power grid that need to be addressed. I don't know maybe I need to just shut up and stop thinking so much? I still like to actually hold what I've worked so hard for........

When will the metals follow? That's what us stackers want to know.. my guess is late 2017-early 2018. Markets are due for a correction

Thanks for all that you do on this site, much appreciated!

I'm waiting everyday for a real pullback in BTC to get some ... crazy action. (Then again...the moment I'm buying means the top is in ;)

I'm glad I found you here on steemit. I have always enjoyed your videos in the past.

That is just crazy. THank you Gregory for your tips :)

Click High web bot says 13,000 by summer. Have you seen JM Boullion (buy silver bars w bitcoin!) or purse.io (better prices on stuff you buy) and cheapair.com (bitcoin for travel)?!?!?! Great uses for all that BTC. It is money in today's world but just a tool at that. Loyal followers GM....like to read you on Steemit these days

You've been callin' it, Greg!

And just think, according to thewebsite: http://onlygold.com/Info/All-The-Gold-In-The-World.asp

The market cap of the gold market is about $7.5T. If BTC were to meet parity with that (assuming the current amount mined) BTC would be $462,000 per coin!

Is it achievable?

Thanx... re-steemed

Thanks Greg ! Totally agree !

A pullback first is a must, and already happening some today.

Any advice for a newbie on how to get started with these cryptos? I take it I need to download a wallet-app-thingie of some sort but I'd like to hear what you recommend.

Tried to buy a bitcoin on quadrigcx but they still need you to be identified by their anti fraud team...

looking to buy ether classic today, good idea?

Good call on recognizing the possible temporarily overheated market. I think we better get used to these types of corrections. Bull markets always attempt to buck off the most riders!

We love watching your reports on Youtube. Glad I found you on Steemit. Can you please connect with me on linkedin as well?https://www.linkedin.com/in/heather-parks-colorado/
Keep up the great work!

Hi Greg! I'm a long time follower on YouTube and your website and have followed you over to steemit on your advice! Love your videos Greg, please keep up the brilliant work! I'm loving the crypto space as a newcomer in the last few months. Steemit looks awesome. It's a fascinating world. I'm a small time trader and investor with my own personal capital, self learning with help of a couple of diplomas in trading and investing. I have investments in silver, gold, bitcoin, uranium, ethereum and gold ,silver and platinum/palladium miners and streamers. I'm fascinated with finance, investing, the global economy and am a fierce student. If you like this post at all I'd be very grateful for an upvote and would love if you got in touch!

I am glad I bought into bitcoin too. Diversification is the name of the game.

This getting exciting but these dips can be crippling for those who couldn't afford to get it on it. The next pull back would be much deeper I think. I can only imagine how the Asians reacted to pullbacks, I think they'll be going all in on the next pull back!! All in after gold of course.

I have been reading your posts - thanks for taking the time to educate me , and I just invested a large amount more in bitcoins yesterday at $2250, I really hope it goes to $5000. What sort of time frame are you thinking before it can maybe get to $5000 ?

Nice blog. Good to see I'm not the only one who thinks like this. The biggest group of uneducated investors in mankind get's a shot to determine the price of a crypto. It's an interesting world we live in. I found this great website: https://www.coincheckup.com Since I use this site I make so much less basic investment mistakes.
