Hey Guys! Who would´ve thought... More than 250 Steemians are still active and engaging daily with the Steem Community. And that´s just those who found about the contest, I´m pretty sure we have a lot more Steemians who are constantly interacting with other users and creating quality content day after day (And by the way, I would´ve thought!!)

Today, @abh12345 pulled the data of every post using the tag blocktrades contest to filter all the posts published until November 28th at 23:59 PST. If you submitted your entry after the deadline I´m sorry but I can´t consider that entry as valid even if I want to, not because I´m trying to be strict but because rules are rules, and without them, every contest would be a total anarchy - which sometimes is good, but not when I´m the only one reviewing al the entries. Thank you so much Asher, checking out the posts would be 100 times harder without your help here. If you are not following yet @abh12345 you should do it, he is actually hosting #TheEngagementLeagueup and since most of you are comitted Steemians, I think you will enjoy participating in the league.

I want to thank everyone who joined the contest, it really means a lot to have so many engaging Steemians believing in one of the main ideas I have about Steemit: As long as we have a committed Community, Steem and it´s ecosystem will continue to prosper and grow in a healthy way.

I´m making this post mainly to be transparent and to let you guys know who´s eligible to win the Blocktrades scholarship - some people told me it was a weird name, but I kinda like it, do you?

Tomorrow during the day I will be picking the winners in a very particular way and I´ll upload the results before 23:59 PST.

yes mam!!!!! i'm having SO much fun with actifit! I just spoke about it today on the Barbarella show with @ravijojla and @anutu - and tried to convince everyone to jump on this awesome app!!!

With steem being so low??? and GINA just told me I got an upvote for my walk yesterday for 0.51 STU!!!! this is AMAZING in this market!!!!! At the end of the week - I'm getting over 7 Steem - JUST from Actifit?!?!?! awesome!!!!!

Thank you for this great initiative for the community.

I was disappointed that I didn't qualify because of using bid bots early in my Steem career. I wish there would have been some kind of stipulation to this for people who have changed their habits, because I feel I add value to this community, and lack of education in the past, to how the platform operates is not a reflection of my intentions and worth currently. IMO

Nonetheless, it's a great initiative, and I've seen most of, if not all of these Steemian's on the blockchain at one point or another, and can attest to the fact that this is a great bunch of people who are dedicated to Steem.

Sweet I made it onto the top 250, I feel like im on one of those reality show competitions. At least now we know who we should be following for daily content! I think even just pulling this list of a list of the top 100 would be helpful in finding new authors and promoting them

It is nice to recognize a couple names on that list that choose to enter and be in the running. Really great to see there are still that many active people trying despite the hard times that have been going. That this kind of turn out has happened. Engagement while time consuming has always been a fun thing to do regarding steem. You meet so many interesting people trying do what they can in their small corner of Steemit.
