Since my childhood, I look forward every year again from 1st - 24th December to open a door of the calendar. It is a nice ritual and also this year I have again found a very simple but totally nice calendar that sweetens the time.
Seit meiner Kindheit freue ich mich jedes Jahr wieder darauf, von 1. - 24. Dezember ein Türchen des Kalenders zu öffnen. Es ist ein schönes Ritual und auch dieses Jahr habe ich wieder einen sehr einfachen aber total netten Kalender gefunden, der mir die Zeit versüßt.

What I found a little pity from the designers, is that of all things the 1, the first door to open, goes over the face of the polar bear :-( that would have been differently nicer, but well, think along is not every designer's thing!
Der Teddybär mit dem knallroten Auto hatte es mir sofort angetan und meine kindliche Seele berührt. Was ich von den Designer ein wenig schade fand, ist dass ausgerechnet die 1, das erste Türchen, über das Gesicht des Eisbären geht :-( das wäre doch anders schöner gewesen, aber nun ja, mitdenken ist nicht jeder Designermanns Sache!
Behind the door was a small piece of chocolate with a picture behind it, which also has the motif of chocolate.
Hinter dem Türchen befand sich ein kleines Stück Schokolade mit einem Bildchen dahinter, das ebenfalls das Motiv der Schokolade hat.

We only had chocolate advent calendars once in my childhood. My younger sister made sure it wouldn't happen again, but opening all the doors of both her own and my calendar on the morning of December first, and eating all 48 pieces!
I was quite sad and angry when it happened, but many years later I bought myself a chocolate calendar, and found out that the chocolate wasn't tasty at all. Way too sweet, and the list of ingredients was scary!
These days I sometimes buy one if I like how it looks, but I don't open them, I just use them for decoration. And considering all the preservatives they put in the chocolates, I can probably use the same calendars for many years, with no risk of them starting to smell bad.
I would have loved to see your face seeing all windows are empty 😅
As adult it tastes very sweet, thats true, but its only a very little peace. I read the ingredients of my calendar and they are okay, nothing really bad inside.

Bei dem Bild der Schoki werden ein paar kleine Erinnerungen wach. Wenn ich an die 99-Pfennige "Schoko-Adventskalender" von früher denke, kann ich das Stück direkt schmecken.
Heute wird das mit den Adventskalendern total übertrieben (Bei uns leider auch).

Ich hatte schon lange keinen dieser Schokoladen Adventskalender. Allerdings kann ich mich noch gut daran erinnern, wie speziell diese kleinen Schokodinger schmecken.
Irgendwie war das ein ganz anderer Geschmack wie normale Schokolade. Unglaublich lecker.
Wahrscheinlich aber aus dem Grund, weil es immer so wenig am Tag war.
Ich glaube aber, meine Augen haben immer geleuchtet wenn ich ein Türchen öffnen durfte. !LUV

Dein Bärchen Kalender ist echt niedlich 😊
Unser Sohn hat bei einem Gewinnspiel einen Sendung mit der Maus Experimentier Kalender gewonnen, den ich ziemlich genial finde. Es sind jeden Tag kleine Experimente in den Kästchen, die man dann gemeinsam machen kann.
Ein großer Vorteil von Adventskalendern ist auch, dass man sein Kind morgens besser aus dem Bett bekommt, weil die Freude auf das Türchen Öffnen die Müdigkeit schnell verdrängt 😉
