I think this is something that needs to be promoted. We need HIVE to start being talked a bit more and get the word out. So I think the Twitter proposals are good too.

That's true... I must admit that I don't really engage too much outside Hive. I don't really like Twitter and I stopped using other social media.
That being said, I'm thinking about reactivating my Twitter account or maybe creating a new one with the sole purpose of promoting Hive.

The problem is not many vote for proposals.
I am in support of Mars proposal and I retweet and tweet about Hive whenever possible.
With the amount of users on Hive it is really easy to get tons of tweets every hour in Hive but sadly we aren't doing it .

The problem is the kind of Tweets are important.
If a bunch of people just were out there schilling Hive with the "Hive is great" "I love Hive" stuff, that is just spamming essentially.
People need to put together tweets that are engaging.
Either way, ProjectBlank will take care of that. We can start tweeting out about development like 3Speak's decentralized video storage once that is announced this week.
Stuff like that will garner serious players attention.

Marketing is super-important and we've been lacking good marketing for a very long time. All the twitter-stuff is awesome but it's not nearly enough. It takes more than a few people doing the heavy lifting.

It is a start..I am really impressed with the amount of time Nathan puts into this and I have heard many people who came to Hive through the Twitter marketing.

The guy is so persistent I am sure by the end of this year, he is going to bring a few major investors or projects on HIVE. Of course, he needs our help. The major reason why he made the Hive Twitter Marketing Proposal is to incentivize the people participating in it. I feel this will definitely make the scale a lot bigger than it is now. Let's see!!

Its a few cents for each posts but you can just copy over most of the stuff over. The problem is that it doesn't use markdown so you have to make some changes to the file until it fits.

I don't know much about that but there are many posts on LeoFinance with some quick and easy tips to improve SEO on our posts. I'm not sure exactly how big is the effect of those measures but most of them are very easy to implement so there's really no reason not to use them.

They (the LeoFinance team) talked about some SEO tools previously. Nothing happened with that.. Not sure how "we" would hire someone when even the LeoFinance team seems to have lost interest in it.

We could apply SEO in some indirect way to Leofinance, not to the platform as such as we do not have access to change anything on it. Our job would be to position Leofinance by doing external work. Just like a blog receives traffic thanks to a youtube video. The same could be applied, bringing external traffic through other networks, but those networks need marketing, advertising and so on to get people interested.

I think a lot of that has to do with how Hive (Steemit) was promoted years ago. They focused too much on "crypto-enthusiast" instead of the average Joe's.

Yea, that's probably part of the reason. Not everyone on Hive wants to go deep into crypto. For a lot of people, understanding the basics is more than enough.
I still believe in promoting crypto mass adoption but maybe we could benefit from other approaches as well.
