The Future Of Africa And Why There's A Need To Create "New Wealth"

In Nigeria I've seen a lot of people hoping and envisaging their dream reality "a financially free future with less competition for opportunities" they're feeling the future might be less competitive, while there will be More opportunities because it's excessive competitiveness that makes people with more connecting have better chances while people with lack of connection have lesser chances. The truth is that the present economic hurdles which cripples people's finances will never be different from the future if a different approach of creating wealth, opportunities and chances for th minority and majority isn't changed. For example a money mentality makes it difficult for people to see what the truth really is.

When a political leader is elected he's expected to put all his family members in the most lucrative jobs in the country, things like internet fraud has become a means to poverty and the quota of godfatherism is why we have come to accept some economic shananigan as a normal thing in Nigeria. It's expected that after elections, prices of goods and services are going to rise and all these is one of the reason why poverty will become the mentality of a lot of people despite how much wealth they have. Nigeria is a country that's swimming in wealth but literarily the nation is poor. When a palliative center for covid-19 was discovered in Lagos, even people with millions in their bank account went to look noodles and what does this tells you?

This is to say that there's mental poverty that's derived by a certain type of uncertainty. People have lost faith in the system and as a result of this nobody cares if the country itself survives or not. Everyone wants to utilise every opportunity to look Nigeria because they have a base mentality that Nigeria is beyond repair so everyone should just take what is their while they watch the county plummet. So because the leaders and their heirachy as well as the citizens are taking turns to loot the economy it creates a certain kind of scarcity. Greed is the reason why one person would want to possess the whole wealth of the nation, taking it overseas and storing these wealths in foreign bank accounts. While leaving little or not for the vast majority of people. Putting them into poverty.

But then in future, Nigeria will Only get worse and why is this? Oil is the main mineral resources of Nigeria and it's not unlimited. One of the ways of handling limited resources is channeling them into diverse wealth creation centers so that in the future if the core of this wealth is diminished then we can have other epicenter where new wealth can be created. But then oil is sold to other countries and the proceeds are looted and stolen. Which means that in the distant future Nigeria will be without a major mineral resources with no source of creating internal and external wealth. The internal revenues will be privatised and horded creating ways for more manipulation and monopoly which means we have perfect class society which will create Massively rich people and injurious poor people with no sort of competition.

Nevertheless, this future that's coming will affect those without a source to personally create new wealth for themselves, does depending on the system via their certificate will becoming the new poorer people. What does this tell you? Africa as a continent is plagued by corruption and the only way to cure this is to individually give people the right way to create new wealth. An example of this new wealth is Crypto. crypto is beyond government's reach, they can mint it they way they freely print money and gift themselves. If they want in, they have to spend fiat to have possession but then it doesn't give them any sort of control. It's imperative to understand that crypto is non bendable to any form of control and that's what makes it liberal. The future of Africa is in jeopardy and faces imploding poverty.

It's tragic all of that wealth going into the hands of a minority - I've followed Shell in Nigeria for a while - I even stood on top of a Shell garage with a 'stop the plunder' banner back in the 1990s as part of a protest - it's pretty abusive - of course Shell say they pay money for development and to clear up pollution, but it all just goes missing.

I wonder what's after oil there must be more resources under Nigeria?

Sad truth is I think you're right that the average Nigerian is probably better off looking for other means to stack wealth, if you're not already in with the elite by the sounds of it you won't be benefitting from oil or anything else that's mined!

Shell and co plunders the Nigerian state to stupor and in liaison with the Nigerian government they plifer the state. There's really no other resources that Nigerian as a country has and oil is dispensable and limited which means it will not last forever. From the looks of it, the oil is to enrich political leaders and their families while Nigerian people remain in perpetual poverty

Africa is not alone when it comes to corruption. During this pandemic the whole world has proven how corrupt it has begun.

Regarding the drainage of minerals that Africa might get to, I wouldn't be worried about. EVs are going to be the only in cars on the streets in about ten years from now, the way I see it so the need for fuel won't make any sense anymore.

Crypto comes at hand but doesn't help everything.

The drainage of mineral might just leave us too depleted and the future wouldn't even know anything called oil if this plundering continues. I believe it falls on individuals to carve their own path. Thanks for the comment

Crypto and the blockchain technology has so much potential to bring about the change needed for balance. I'm originally born and raised from Hawaii, and it is amazing the advances the islands has made but made at the cost of a corrupt history. Being raised by hands, pained from the past I live on with a passion to share the history of my people. The blockchain provides possibilities that I could have only imagined to have been possible. The ideas that run through my mind from my recent discoveries feels great compared to the suppressive state of mind that I was raised to remember for the rest of my life. I hope that this new technology provides you the opportunities to create a better and wealthier future for you and your family. Happy holidays!! \m/

It definitely would last very long, this technology. It would eventually get better with time.

The corruption is everywhere and this effects the middle class and lower class the most. In corrupted world the persom with wealth is the king...
As you say that the economy of your country is depends on the oil reserves and yes it required the future plans after the oil reserves will be out... the government should think wit long term vision and mission ...
