What a week to celebrate. HIVE still has lot's to show off, but these moments are just great for extra exposure and another proof of how this social experiment is working. Prices are moving all around and there is again another chance for checking if everything is working.
Just check what happened to the SWAP.HIVE:DEC pool... and why it could be a great thing for HIVE prices to rise. Currently, with almost 4k DEC to be drawn to one of the current 3 people that are supporting the pool, it's a really great prize! If you wish to participate, please let us know in the comments below. There's not much time left for the end of the giveaway.
During this gathering, the Pub will also stop the auto-staking of SPS and initiate the full unstake, so that the total value by the end of the year can be given away to a lucky visitor of the Pub that shared a Splinterlands battle.
At the last gathering, we have given away a Punk! Crazy what people will find in a few years when they did miss the opportunities left under these gatherings.

With the majority of the volume coming from the Upbit exchange, HIVE prices have been rising furiously. Keep watching the space as usually during these moments, opportunities are all over the place.
Prices are already correcting but it's still soon to say it's over for now. Volume is a massive driver of these changes and until that one keeps it up, lots can happen.
We also made it up to the top100 of cryptos, which is a massive milestone for HIVE after so many years of hiding in the shadows, while being a potential top10 in our view. Super exciting times that make us all feel proud of why we say web3 is here to revolutionize.

HiveFest Next?
HiveFest 2021 was great and a nice precursor of the recent developments in value and news to come. COVID changed the world rules but there will be an end to it (hopefully)... everyone has to adapt.
Virtual conferencing is an interesting alternative that allows these to continue, but it can't compare against the "in-person" interaction version. Will we have another virtual one next year? Will it be a Hybrid one? What do you think would work well for the community and the continuous impact this conference does every year (numbers this year showed up a significant increase).
From the buzz around, people are saying that's time for it to be in US... Texas or Florida... what's your take?
Splinterlands - Chaos Legion launch date!
The pre-sale is over and a total of 875,400 packs were purchased and there are still 124,600 left to be bought. This means the same amount of VOUCHER is still around the market positions and everyone's accounts. Buying new packs will only be possible after the launch, so take that into consideration within the current prices.

Has any one heard of Binemon?
Before I found Hive I was looking at Axie but felt it was too expensive and didn't like the idea of committing to a scholarship. Binemon popped up on my feed and with the help of @lukeeeyy I stumbled my way through the dranken exchange and pretty much got in on day one. So far its been an interesting ride.
Hive blogging, splinterlands and riseingstar take most of my spare time at the moment but I still keep the Binemon account ticking along when I can, The first couple of months game play was average at best, but over the past 2 weeks they have made some major changes and I am starting to earn I bit more.
Interesting... I wonder if they know about HIVE. This is the kind of game that would easily integrate with.

I am curating all the time... but a title is not just depending on help provided in the Pub... there are many things at stake. Experience, consistency, devotion to good causes, publicity, correctness, willingness to learn, willingness to give, lot's =)
I think you are still a helper... and like I said to @josie2214, there is no mandatory participation. It's what your lives can or you feel about. The ultimate goal of this is decentralization. So, it will need a couple of helpers for that to start making a difference.
Next gathering two more will be added... @josie2214 and @new.things. I think it matches the scope and ideology I have explained above.

The pub as lively as ever! Greetings friends .. I think the increase is for Splinterlands and also the content I have seen post of 600 $ ... Binamon I have read it out there, but after Splinterlands that has hit me, I am suspicious with the games. although after a long time I will get to bronze 2 quickly
Imagine the pain of writing up the 3rd diggest of games on HIVE next year!!! I really need to step up on that one. Still undecided on how I am going to produce the next one.

@new.things think I ended up at a different pub last night, plenty of beer and pizza there too. About time I entered this space. Been reading the chat most weeks, but being a newbie didn't really know how or where to inject myself.
Over my first month been really enjoying exploring all the different communities out there, and finding a space where I fit in.
I've also enjoyed experiencing the decentralised finance aspect first hand (I think that's the best way to learn). Hive seems like a platform for the people, by the people which is awesome.. correct me if I'm wrong. I've already grown a strong appreciation for all the big players that make all this possible, and the amount of work that must go in.
How awesome is the Hive boom in the last week or so too. I see the market cap has reached $1billion. This can only be a positive sign moving forward.
I'm excited to be apart of the Hive Community, wish I'd been here earlier. Next on the agenda, think I'll have to give Splinterlands a crack, see what all the fuss is about hey.

Cool, I haven't seen a high level game before, all those levelled up card must open up so many more options. I tried joining a few cards together but it stays my summoners are too low. I think I need to save up for mylor to get out of bronze.
The summoners are definitely the bottleneck before you can use higher level cards. You can check what levels the card can use under the stats page for the summoner. In the case your league isn't high enough, your upper cap on your summoner will be whatever the league accepts.
