You certainly didn’t ask for them, and you can’t trade’em, but out of the billions of human beings on our planet, they’re the ones who know you best. They’re the ones who cherish you, and whom you should cherish in return – whether they’re your biological family or otherwise. Even though its easy to forget at times, a family is the most important thing in the world. This could mean your mother, your father, your siblings, your spouse, your grandparents, your aunts, your uncles, your cousins, your in-laws – but for some, it's simply those with whom we share unconditional love.

thanks. yes it's all about family! except for me it means the immediate family members. i don't have a relationship with my relatives. most koreans don't because fighting over grandpa's money is extremely common here. i just do my best to help my loved ones. i hope you had a great weekend as well!

yea this is a country where the next generation is getting poorer and poorer. less and less opportunities to break the poverty cycle. inevitably people fight over what's left from grandpa's lifesavings and wait for them to die. my solution is to break all ties with all my relatives. it's kinda similar in japan. in japan and korea people like fancy stuff. their country is doing alright economically. they might even look rich, but they're completely rotting inside. i just try to stay positive inside all this.

thanks for the comments! but trust me. life in korea is nothing to be jealous of. the economy has improved over the years, but quality of life is on a continuous decline. it's why steemit is exploding here. people are looking for a way out 😌

yes asian countries are similar in a way. since early age we're taught unity, hardwork, and nationalism. most people slave away for very little money while like 10 people reap all the benefits. i love crypto and steemit because they are a disruptive force against everything we're told to believe.

yes. this is their law and the formula of those who have power. But Steemit has been born and give tremendous benefits many people for our hard work ....AND. for small peoples who are not touched by a government 'policy'

hello! yes i'm sure. i'm sorry i dunno much about the culture. i just look at the menu and one of them was labeled indonesian. but i did enjoy it a lot. if i visit some time in the future i'll know a little more! indonesia is relatively close so i might really visit.

thanks! it's great spending your weekend with your spouse. but i try not live solely for the weekends. it's what most koreans do (work 24/7 and have a few hours of free time per week or even month). i try to have small things everyday that make us happy.

yea recharging is just as important as working hard. gotta set things in order. maintaining the right mindset alone is difficult. and yes life in korea can be tough. instead of law and order, fair markets, we have dictators and dirty politicians. if this was a competition korea would be ranked pretty close to the top if not #1.

I think that Korea is fighting the # 1 with venezuela as far as dirty politicians are concerned, I will never understand why a small group of people always want to fuck the majority

i'm pretty sure you're close! i don't think they think about the majority. or whether they think at all. they're simply greedy (which is human nature). wherever you have human beings you have big liabilities and risks, so it's understandable. but i dunno why korea and venezuela are the worst cases. at least i know this. here, people generally pick between the 2. work for samsung to be a slave, or worship politicians and hope for the best. for me, i take my chances at being indie so i'm a complete outlier, a sore loser.

thank you. it wasn't always like this. i'd have anxiety issues and never go out and just stay in my room. these days i try to go out more and spend time with family. gotta make the effort. have a great monday!

I see a friend, you feel more safe being in your house, I know what you're talking about. I also went like this. but then I saw that going out is good from time to time. I started dating a bit more from last year until now. I always lived at home and studying. But little by little one adapts and even enjoys it.

yes at one point i was so stressed with work i lived for the weekends and holidays. but when they actually came i had anxiety issues and didn't wanna do anything. after just a few years in the corporate world i have permanent damage, both mental and physical. in korea people literally drop dead from heartattacks after working long hours. everybody says balance is important. but very few achieve it 😐

In the environment in which I am doing 24-hour guards, and I think it's crazy, I do it because as a student I have no other option, but it is not correct, because a body without rest is a body that gets sick.

I don't know how I missed this post @hitmanchoi. I have been busy with family all weekend. I also missed the video of your editing updates. I can see how you are using python. It seems tedious to me but so are a lot of things in life.

Dating is real important in marriage and I wish I could have more time like that with my wife. Almost 18 years past since our wedding day. It would be good to do something nice for her.

it's my first project on python and learning new code is fun. yes it can get tedious but building something and seeing it run is absolutely great.

Ow, it's very nice to see that you stil have dates with your lovely wife. When you are married, the daily routine becomes an enemy to the relationship. If love in marriage does not feed properly, it will bring boring monotony with it. The monotony of daily life invades the relationship and makes the couple enter a kind of inertia, forgetting the displays of courtesy and affection. It's like giving everything for sure, leaving behind special moments, romantic dinners and gifts for no reason. What these people forget is that, like a plant, love should be cared for and cultivated every day and it is lovely to see that in the world there are still men like you who do!
