Global harmony is our mission. World peace is our vision. Our community's weekly open mic event attracts enthusiastic musicians and listeners. Our virtual song circle reaches globally, while upholding the classic pattern of a traditional open mic event. At the end of each week, we celebrate the music with a Community Concert.
Everyone is welcome here in our haven for expression and connection. We welcome music fans and casual listeners, while holding space for musicians of every style and any skill level. Here, music lovers build real relationships worldwide. Every contributor can be proud of the fact we are building a more harmonious world by sharing our enjoyment of music.
For the 113th week of Hive Open Mic, we will explore the following theme: "Infantil." In English, this means: "Childlike," or "Infantile." Everyone is encouraged to share the collective current as we express and connect through: Intantil.
“Infantil”
This week's Hive Open Mic theme is: “Infantil.” This is a pressure-free invitation, encouraging us to explore new territory together as artists, sharing common ground as a community. Musicians always have full freedom to bring whatever music feels inspired in the moment. Here's a timeline, for anyone wishing to look back, be present, or prepare future entries.
How To Play
1. Produce - Introduce your video by saying the words, “Hive Open Mic Week 113,” including your name. Perform a song.
2. Present - Post your video in the Hive Open Mic community. Include the tag #openmic.
3. Promote - Share your link in the comments section of Sunday's open mic invitation in order to ensure your entry is heard.
4. Prosper - Build relationships by engaging with fellow music lovers through uplifting comments.

Show support by engaging with the musicians. The greatest gift we can give to an artist is our attention. For this reason, we humbly ask that everyone offer some friendly words. Reward musicians by offering applause as if we're in a pub, a coffee shop, or concert hall. Our comments might be the vital voice that gives a musician the wings to fly, or the gills to dive deep!

Hello, community, this is my participation in this week 113 in which the team that integrates Hive Open Mic suggests us to work with children's songs. This theme "Tell me, dad" was the winner at the Festichamo 1980 in the voice of the child (by then, forty-two years ago) Elix.Ramón Suárez.For me it was a challenge to interpret this theme since there were few experiences that I was able to share with my father. The year I turned nine, my mom passed away in January and my dad in August and I was left in the care of my older brothers. However, I know that this thing about a father trying to use a child's toy is common, or it was before, when the boys played more than now. since a high percentage prefers to be anchored in electronic games rather than play something dynamic

@hiveopenmic, me gusta mucho que hayan seleccionado como temática las canciones infantiles ya que hay una gran variedad de temas muy hermosos y, a vece,los relegamos un poco. Sn pocas las veces que alguien interpreta temas infantiles, así que, un poco nos hacen "salir de nuestra zona de confort" cual implica una experiencia nueva y un aprendizaje. Van a estar muy interesantes las participaciones esta semana.
@hiveopenmic, I really like that you have selected nursery rhymes as a theme since there are a wide variety of very beautiful themes and sometimes we relegate them a bit. It's not often that someone interprets children's songs, so they make us "get out of our comfort zone" a bit, which implies a new experience and learning. The participations will be very interesting this week.
