in THE 1990s4 years ago (edited)

That turtles movie would be a major highlight in this post which includes some of the films I remember seeing in the big screen or on television or home video that year.

Random Movies

1990s | 1990 | 1991 | 1992 | 1993 | 1994 | 1995 | 1996 | 1997 | 1998 | 1999

I was born in 1985 and I turned five years old in 1990; grew up in Oregon, USA. So, I'm not always sure when I saw movies as a kid (the exact dates) but I do have memories of seeing some movies in the theater and some at home. I've included as many movies as I could from 1990 in this post. I've also included others from that same year which I either saw later on or not yet.

Here is a list of movies released in 1991 to theaters and/or to video, television, etc, that year between 1990-01-01 to 1990-12-31.

1989-06-23 - Batman premiered in theaters.
1989-11-15 - Batman was made available on VHS. My memory is of seeing either this video or the 1992 sequel at the house of Tiffany Cumbo between 1989 and 1992 is my guess depending on which of the two films it was, only saw bits and pieces of both of those films but not in theaters. First film had The Joker and the second had The Penguin. I think I remember seeing The Joker which means it was that first film that I saw at her house probably before 1993. I know I met her before 1993 but can't say exactly what year. First, I met her and then later saw one of these 2 movies at her house. Not the entire movie but just a few minutes until her parents told me to go home as it was late like around 08:00 PM or so, like past our bedtime kind of thing. It was still light out meaning maybe during the summer of 1990 would be my guess. I don't know how much time after I met her I saw the movie at her house.

1990-03-09 - The Handmaid's Tale premiered, I've not seen it as of 2020.
1990-03-23 - Pretty Woman premiered but I probably didn't see it until years later.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT): The Movie

1990-03-30 - The first live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) film came out in America, the 30th of March of 1990, and I probably didn't see it in theaters and saw it later on via video cassette (VHS via a VCR).

1990-10-04 - TMNT was released to video.

If i didn't see it in the cinema, then I probably saw it in or after October of 1990. I saw it as a funny film and I was hooked on them. I started drawing turtles as well in the early 1990s.

1990-04-06 - Ernest Goes to Jail premiered. Not sure if I've ever seen this particular Ernest film (his 4th film) but was always a big Ernest fan going back to the early 1990s but not sure which year exactly but I've seen bits and pieces of some of his films over the years.

1990-05-15 - Gremlins 2: The New Batch premiered but I probably didn't see it theaters and probably saw it on TV years later.

1990-05-25 - Back to the Future III premiered, we saw it in the theater in May or June of 1990 is my guess. I was bit excited about the movie, I remember seeing the car in that cave. I saw the Indians chase the time-machine car. I remember the wild west a bit in this movie at that time.

1991-06-01 - Total Recall premiered in theaters but I didn't see it until like the 2000s.

1990-06-29 - Ghost Dad premiered, we saw it in theaters, I remember Bill Cosby talking on or through the phone and then also the scenes on the bridge as well.

1990-07-27 - Problem Child premiered, we saw it in the theaters.

Biggest thing I remember from that film was this music video, this song, It's My Party & I'll Cry If I Want To.

1990-08-03 - DuckTales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp premiered. If I didn't see it theaters, I saw it on video later on.

1990-11-09 - Child's Play 2 premiered, I first saw it in the 1990s on video but probably after 1995 is my guess.

1990-11-16 - Home Alone premiered and we either saw it that same year or at least by 1991.
1990-11-16 - Rocky V premiered but I probably didn't see much of it until years later.

1990-12-14 - Look Who's Talking Too premiered and I think we saw this movie in the theaters around that time because I remember a movie with talking babie and this would be it unless if I am thinking of the first film from 1989.

1990-12-21 - Kindergarten Cop premiered, we saw it in theaters probably that December of 1990 for Christmas but not sure of the exact date. I remember a big tall man (Arnold) who was like a teacher, I didn't know much about this actor since I was only five years old at that time.

Comedy Central

Key & Peele - "Gremlins 2" Brainstorm - Uncensored

Nevada Jedi 042

Mother Goose Rock n' Rhyme 1990

Andrew Magic And More

Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue (1990, VHS) full in HD

I'm Dangerous Tonight (Trailer)
Daughter of Darkness 1990
If The Shoe Fits - 1990 - [FM 84 Mix]
Challenger (1990) Christa & Scobee go flying - I probably saw this NASA like movie at least before 1994 or what I saw was similar to this video, we rented something from Whiz Bang when I was like eight years old in 1993 and or before that time.

From the 1990 TV movie 'Challenger', about the ill fated STS-51L mission of January 1986, starring Karen Allen as schoolteacher Christa McAuliffe. In this scene, mission commander Dick Scobee (Barry Bostwick) takes Christa for a flight in a T-38.

Get To The Choppa! says Arnold Schwarzenegger (Dutch) | Predator. This movie came out in 1987 and I remember seeing bits and pieces of it at least by the early 1990s is my guess and not sure about the second Predator film which came out in 1990.

Robocop 2 (1990) - Official Trailer (HD). I saw the first film in the early 1990s, probably not in the theaters. I also remember seeing him fly in the third film but have no memory of ever seeing this 2nd film which came out in 1990. But make no mistake, growing up in the 90s, I was a big Robocop fan and we even had a Robocop 3 regular Nintendo video game which I think I bought for like a dollar at Whiz Bang Videos when they were going out of business in the late 1990s.

Three Men And A Little Lady (1990) - Trailer - 35mm - HD. I remember seeing the previous movie of this series, three men and a baby. I have not seen this movie before, this sequel film but it looks like fun.

Dear @joeyarnoldvn , I don't know why Americans like Japanese ninjas. Koreans and Chinese hate Japanese samurai and ninjas.

Scary stuff. Interesting photos. Good question.

Dear @joeyarnoldvn , 80 years ago, Japanese beheaded people while mimicking samurai and ninja. They also decapitated Americans like you.
So, Koreans and Chinese people hate and despise Japanese samurai and ninjas.

I'm shocked that you like Japanese ninjas.😨

There is a difference between liking a person who kills you with a gun and the gun itself. Like, to like a gun does not mean you like it if somebody shoots you. Likewise, same thing with a sword. I like swords but not a sword stuck inside my body. To like a ninja is to like self-defense. It is not to take personal.

I see! I understand that you like ninjas.
So, do you like this style of USA woman? 😄
East Asian men call the Wonderful American Woman. 😉

I sometimes like Asian woman over black women or white women. Well, if you are asking me which color of skin I like, it is generally a light brown color as seen with Asians, Native American Indians, some half-white half-black people who are then brown. Skin color is a hard one to figure out. I like all colors.

I do not know what American women style is and I am an American. I say this because I see many different styles in America. I think there are styles I like and styles I do not like. So, your question is very hard to answer because your question is very general or vague.

When you ask me about women, you might be asking about many different things all in one. I want a smart woman. I want a traditional woman. I want a funny woman. I want a woman who loves children like a great mother. I want a woman who is always learning. I want a woman who loves Jesus. I want a woman who is helping people. I want a woman who tries to be healthy. I want a woman who tries to save money and things. I want a woman who cooks and does housework and many different things. I like a woman who smiles. I like and want many different things. I like traditional values.

I do not like too much makeup. I do not like too much plastic surgery. A woman does not have to be pretty or too pretty. What I like may not be about her beauty on the outside but on the inside. But if a woman is beautiful on the inside, she will probably become beautiful more and more on the outside.

The photo you showed above is an American woman style but it is not the only style. But I do like American styles. I tend to prefer American styles over other styles. But I like styles from other countries too. If I have to pick, I think American styles may be my favorites overall. Well, it is hard to say because there are so many styles and some of the American styles come from other countries or evolved and changed over many centuries. So, some of the American styles are updated versions of styles from other countries. But America is the best country in the world with some of the best styles in the world. Many countries copy American styles.

My friend @joeyarnoldvn, Your philosophical criticism of women is very good.😃

I do not like too much makeup. I do not like too much plastic surgery. A woman does not have to be pretty or too pretty. What I like may not be about her beauty on the outside but on the inside. But if a woman is beautiful on the inside, she will probably become beautiful more and more on the outside.

I agree with you! By the way, I think it will be easier to understand your argument by looking at a picture of a woman.

Dear @joeyarnoldvn, The woman in that picture is the sexy American woman that East Asians often imagine.😄

Can you give me a picture of what the ideal woman would look like?😉
