This rule is an indirect nerf to the Possibilus The Wise Water Legendary Summoner as it also gives other classes the ability to play 2 tanks thanks to all melee monsters getting the reach ability. What I personally look at first when this rules comes up is a way to potentially play the Life Legendary Rather Summoner with the Jared Scar in 2nd place. If possible with a Taunt monster in the back so the first 2 monsters are able to survive longer. However, I don't yet own the Iziar at level 3 yet. Something else I learned is that the reach doesn't bypass sneak and Opportunity abilities.

I played quite some matches today but none got this rule so for a chance since I no longer play on my alt account I went to the top battles and watched what they played with this rule. The other 2 rules were that all monsters got snipe and Ranged attack reflection.

With just 25 Mana to use, the top player opted for the Kitty Summoner which is considered the strongest in the game. Having the Immunity ability on the tank seems to be the way to go as both players opted for that. The Almo Cambio monster has good health and only some reflection abilities which was used as the main tank, the Vruz was put in 2nd place neglecting the reach ability from the game rule. the Uareus with sneak and Poison was put in 3rd place followed by the Doctor Blight, the Venator Kinjo, and the Furious Chicken
The bottom player opted for the Lilly Summoners and the Grimbardum Smith as a tank which has a lot of protection with Immunity, Void, Shield, Armor repair. The Fiend 0 mana card was put 2nd which got the reach ability and 2 Healing Monsters were played with the Khmer Princess & the Wood Nymph, in the back 2 mosters with Scattershot and Poison were played with the Madcap Magnus & the Acid Shooter.
Especially the 2nd player I found to have a really inventive deck which I can learn a lot from even though I don't own the key Tank card.

To my surprise the 1st player actually ended up winning in an extremely close battle really showcasing the fun of Splinterlands at these higher levels. I also should be watching these kinds of battles more often to learn from and I'm kind of tempted to get some of those cards that I don't own. It also keeps Splinterlands fresh at a game since there are so many different ways to play.
