Splinterlands | Wands Out Battle Challenge

in Splinterlands7 months ago

This week a game rule that limits players to 1 attack type in the Share Your Battle Challenge which now also is called 'Battle Mage Secrets" in Splinterlands. This is the Wands Out Rule.

I'm not sure if I'm a fan of this rule where only magic can be used since it tends to be very straightforward. Play high-health monsters and try ti implement magic buffs for your own monsters and Nerfs for the opponent. I guess there are 2 cards that stand out for this rule which are the Immortalis Summoner because each monster becomes protected against Magic damage or the Delwyn Dragonscale as all monsters get +1 Magic damage which includes Dragon Cards so the coice is much bigger with some strong options.

With only 14 Mana to use, I opted for the Obsidian Summoner.

I like the Spirit Shaman as the main tank as it's fast, has quite some health for the mana cost with the ability to stun the opponent and do 1 damage to all when it dies. With just 6 mana left, I opted for 2 healing support monsters with the Wood Nymph which also increases the health of all other monsters and the Khmer Princess

My opponent without a base summoner that gives something extra for or against Magic it was always going to be a win for me.
