People would always talk when things don't go their way
Everyone acts like they have a stake and should have something to say
A lot of people have become secondary characters in their life's story
Yet they wonder why they seem distant from the envisioned glory
Nothing would get done unless a step is taken albeit with trembling
If your dreams doesn't scare you then you aren't dreaming
We sometimes focus too much on what lies ahead
We keep dreaming sometimes that we get engrossed and forget to take step
Anyone can dream...in fact...any fool can dream but it takes the wise to take the step
Your dreams are valid, so are your opinions
I can't hear the critics over the applause later on, let them cut the onions
Time doesn't change anything but your actions or inactions over time changes a lot

Lol it's funny just by mere reading through but I'd like to get a more in depth on what it means to not be dreaming because it isn't scary to you.
I thought dream that scare one are called nightmares... Well, from the perspective you wrote this from, it isn't about that but I'm still confused a little bit.
In any case, I enjoyed this read... Lovely poet as always, full of deep meanings.
If your dream doesn't scare you then you aren't dreaming.
They are some dreams you will have and want to take action toward them, but the action aspect is scary.
When you dream big, it becomes scary because you want them achieved especially when you have big hurdles in your path.
Let's take, for instance, ancient times when women are not allowed to go to school because they are known to be breeding machines. A woman from that time who dreams to become a doctor or become someone someday will be scared to take action.
It's like you dreamt you jumped into a deep sea and survived in a place where swimming is prohibited. Having that dream means you are going against the norms in that place which is scary.
Back to the lady's instance taken, her dreams to become someone order than a breeding machine will scare her because she is dreaming unlike her following the trend.
I hope I was able to explain a bit, but if you are not satisfied with what is been said, I have other instances to fill in.

The person isn't dreaming big enough. Trust me, when you dream big, the weight will scare you. It is like fighting for freedom. I mean, you can still be living when you depend on someone right? But the moment you seek independence, you realize the weight that comes with it.

When your dream doesn't scare you, then you aren't dreaming. It's not about the kind of dream you have while sleeping but about the things you want to be. Thinking about your reality and what you want to achieve, it would scare you, get you worried because you will see where you are in sharp contrast to where you are going and would ask yourself "how would these things be?". If your dream is something you can easily achieve then it's not big enough...it has to be something bigger than you can you have the capacity for and that's where the fear comes in.

We must learn to live. We have the right to dream. No one can help us without our consent so we have to take the steps needed to achieve what we set out to achieve. Fortune favours the brave they say. We have to be brave.
There is no crime against dreaming big. It's about taking the necessary step that is required that most people are lacking. Life is for the brave and those who can take steps in the direction of their dreams.
