Week 31 Results | 9W-18L-3P | -2.422 Units Loss

This is a weekly overview of my personal sports betting/trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.

This was one of those weeks where I was running very cold in all regards. The bets that were good value didn't have luck on their side while I failed to pull a lot of triggers on what would have been great bets and I also just took too many bets that didn't turn out to be any good. The good thing is that I remained quite conservative on my stakes which only resulted on a -2.422 unit overall loss which still is quite big given the average stake size.

One of the things I like about these reports is that they don't hide the bad times (like 99% of what is shared on the internet in betting & crypto where everyone only shares something when they are right or won after it happened)

I also feel that my stakes are at this point way too comfortable which is the opposite and almost equally bad as playing with scared money. My main consern is my season chart which prevents me from betting a lot more on average (aside from the limits on many bets). From here on out with 3 weeks to go in the season I will likely just take it slow and have fewer bets seeing where it goes gearing up for the Playoffs where I might make some adjustments on my overall stake sizes starting 'from zero' similar to how each Regular Season starts from zero.

Pre-Game Preview Bets Season 2021-2022

The pre-game preview bets also got crushed this week going 5L-0W-1P for the full 5 units loss. If anything it all shows once again how important volume and sample size is and that you literally need thousands of bets in order to make a cautious intital conclusion on actual profitability. At times like this it's nice to be able to zoom out. All preview bets combined now since I introduced this format are 407 Bets | +25.768 Units Profit | +6.33% ROI which is still rock solid.

At this point I kind of pulled the trigger to stop the experiment to take bets on Copytip given the fact that it's so hard with the limits and I rarely have bets anymore here I'm overly confident to take them in one go. It did do a nice overall profit on all bets taken there and I will continue to share bigger bets on the SBC Discord Channel the moment I get into them.

Season 2021-2022 Personal Betting Chart

There was another retrace to the pink expected profit line and at this point with 3 more weeks to go after caring all season long about making the chart go up and look nice I'm will put even more priority ok keeping it clean not taking risks to have things crash down as not that much is needed for that (or the opposite) to happen. Overall thinks look quite nice still with a general steady uptrend
