Honestly, I have no fucking clue what this means, I suspect he doesn't either as it is just a place to throw some big votes.
This is far too creative to be from our manchild @transisto, and as we can see from the tags, it's not original content. A movement transisto started when he got caught plagiarizing on @zer0hedge and wanted a to justify voting up stolen content.
All these memes are property of @transisto via one of his many alts. I will add my own meme to compliment his.

If you are curious how this whole downvoting thing started, transisto started to upvote automated posts that contained a single image up to 10 times a day. I noticed this and started downvoted them as automated posts from dapps like this do not deserve rewards.

The account is run by @brianoflondon and I do not believe he is at fault here, and didn't do anything malicious, it just happened @transisto thought it a good idea to just upvote all these.
He claims it isn't 10 times a day and only 20 times a week.
As a result he decided to zero all my posts and flag anyone I upvote as you can see here on his alt.
So if you are getting downvotes as a result of either of my votes, this is why. Previously I was voting over 200 unique authors a week with $10+ votes evenly. Many of my votes were the significant portion of what they earned and never my votes were never influenced by anyone or anything and purely organic. I do not own @xbuildawhale or @xthemarkymark, this both belong to our local manchild @transisto.

Are people getting upset over the DVs from the X-minions? They do no real damage. I'm used to getting various small DVs, so I won't cry over his. We have to accept that the freedom of Hive lets some people be trolls without fear of being 'cancelled'. Thanks for caring enough to deal with some of them.
I think we need to get people used to the fact that there will be DVs, but they are not always a problem. Anyone could create an anonymous bot that flags loads of accounts. As Hive grows we will see more of that.

I feel that even after auto-voting, they were supposed to check back to confirm that they are voting for genuine authors and not spammers or plagiarizers.

I feel like some people just get a kick out of screwing over others. Like it makes them feel good about themselves in some way - as if they are smarter than the other person or something.
I can understand why these actions upset you because some of these guys have so much power. And maybe there are aspects I don't understand from way down here. However, those of us with much less power truly appreciate all you have done for us, and we hope you don't give up on us because of a few assholes.
I used to run a meetup group of over 1000 people. I was too busy to actually go and meetup most of the time, so the majority of my interactions were the complaints, and, often, it was like dealing with toddlers even though these were adults. I was nothing but kind and yet they literally called me a dictator. I have no desire to dictate! Ha!
My point is that if you go through one half the crap I went through when I ran that group (and I suspect you go through more), it's no wonder you are fed up.
When I actually went to my own meetups, people told me the group was life changing for them -- life saving in some cases. I needed to hear that to balance out all the bullshit email I was getting. I needed to know I was making a positive difference in people's everyday life.
I don't know whether you need to know that. It seems to me that everyone could do with a boost to their morale from time to time. So, if you do, I am telling you that I write much, much more because of you personally. You make it worth the effort for me, and then, when I put in the effort, I feel a little better, and my writing improves. And I am just one of many people your support has helped. I think many people feel the exact same way.
So, thank you. I don't know whether you know that, because of your stature in Hive, it is hard even to thank you because, if I say nothing, I don't risk saying anything offensive or stupid whereas just by thanking you, maybe I have violated an unwritten rule. You know? It's intimidating. I am telling you this in case you wonder why the hell you get complaints, but few if any well deserved thank yous.

Regardless of all this recent shitshow, I appreciate all the support you have given me these past months. I understand why you did what you did, and I'm okay with it. Bad people should be called out, bad actions should be stopped, regardless of the tantrum of a child who thinks he can do everything he wants because he has money.

I really don't want to be sucked into this but you've done that.
Both @themarkymark and @transisto often upvote my content and I believe you've both voted for my proposals. @no-agenda.art is a bot that reposts a vast amount of ORIGINAL content. If I had more time I would be pushing harder to get more of the No Agenda artists on to Hive and owning their own accounts, that's what the system is built to do and to showcase Hive as a place for communities.
I've bought Hive Punks and used Mark's services not because I think I'll get rich, but because I like to support innovation on Hive.
The No Agenda Mastodon instance is promoted to over 1m podcast listeners on every single show. It would be nice to get some mind share on the show for Hive, we already have a huge foothold in Adam Curry's head because he knows that @Podping, the global notification system for Podcasting 2.0 only works because of the unique characteristics of Hive. The earnings from @no-agenda.art are hypothecated to make donations to the No Agenda show, I have a pending donation of $333 I need to do soon but I've been too busy with @v4vapp. I probably have more than that but honestly this hasn't been a huge focus of mine.
Funnily enough I've known @transisto has been a listener to that show for a long time. Whatever your past curation and upvoting beefs you've had with him in the past, his support of this particular endeavour did not come at my bidding but I fully understood why they came.
The entire point of the DHF is to avoid voting automated (or any post) to raise funds for projects. In fact the project already has DHF funding. If it wasn’t for this we would have hundreds of people self voting 60-80 comments a day like hive watchers used to do before their proposal got funded.
Either way his response is super mature.
Nothing directly related to No Agenda or my art bot is funded by the DHF, this is totally a side project of mine. Podping had a one time DHF claim which I used to pay others to do some of the dev work that I hadn't learned at that time and most of that DHF payout is now powered up and acts as the HP necessary to keep the thing running.
I just want it known that I didn't set up that bot to milk the reward pool and I have no intention of doing that. If people like some of the art, they might want to upvote it and if they do, I'll pass that on to No Agenda and/or the original artists if they decide to open Hive accounts.
I always wonder how these... "whale wars" get started and what the back story is behind them. Thanks for clarifying.

Well, it is quite sad when this type of conflicts end up generating strong collateral damage, such as not being able to receive your votes anymore due to retaliation and downvotes, however, it is the right thing to do, the complaint is totally valid.
I would like to thank you for all the support you have given me during these 4 years that I have been in this blockchain world, because since Steem I received support for being on your whitelist, I will always be grateful, because really no whale votes me at all although I make good quality content every day (or at least I try), you have been a fundamental pillar for me in that sense, you have been basically the only support I have had during 90% of my blockchain journey.
Now we will have to wait to see how this conflict ends, but you have my full support because I know that things will end well in the end, they are just small setbacks, greetings Marky, thanks for the work you do for this blockchain.
