This principle of the book refers to persistence as one of the most important things for the human being, in the words of the author "persistence is to man what carbon is to steel", in my particular case after the fall of the prices of coins in 2017 I was bankrupt, I was without capital and with many debts, for two years I worked in different things that paid little and I had almost no time to work on my goal since everything I earned was only to cover the expenses of my house, In those years I did not have access to a computer or capital to invest, I think anyone would have given up, but the firm belief that it was possible to create the conditions to work from home with what I am passionate about was what allowed me to persist in my darkest moments, that is why as an entrepreneur I value perseverance.
In these three years of hard work it was the determination to do everyday actions such as saving for a computer or saving working capital to invest that gave me the window of opportunity with which I was able to develop the activity I do today, during that time when things did not seem to be going well was when I decided that I would not give up and if I had another opportunity I would focus on consolidating all my achievements, with the passage of time and with the help of a friend I was given the opportunity I wanted so much, on the other hand although I have not consolidated my achievements now I know that perseverance to move towards a single goal remains my top priority, I know the road is not easy but perseverance does not make the road easier, perseverance makes you better and more capable of overcoming challenges.
in conclusion I can say that perseverance is not something easy to develop for most people because to achieve a goal you have to work a long time without seeing a result or benefit, it is in these circumstances that people lose faith and end up giving up. If you have a goal that you consider valuable remember these words "perseverance is nothing more than promising yourself that no matter what happens YOU WILL NEVER ABANDON the daily actions that will lead you to achieve your goal" it is that simple, never give up.

Greetings @trabajosdelsiglo, perseverance from my point of view is a gift that each person has and that very few develop, sometimes there are people who start a project and in the first foot they have and are already defeated but there are others who face that reality and move forward and then get the expected result.
This is really inspirational, I am glad you eventually enjoyed the benefits of persevering. I also used to wonder what exactly was my gain in the hardships I used to face, but I never gave up on those things I did even though I wasn't seeing the results at that moment. It can be really discouraging and frustrating as well but persevering is truly key to not wasting those efforts.
