Greetings piotr.
Thank you for your invitation.

I will study the post and the video.
Therefore, I can make a realistic comment.
Quality!

Hello @mariita52 thank you for seeing my post, feel free to check out my other videos here:

I really like your page, great content, whats your experiences of working in your industry?

Hahaha, actually I'm retired.
How I saw my son playing Habbo (about 10 years ago) how he got virtual coins with my money; I knew it was possible.
take a children's programming course; to understand more.
Then I discovered the cryptomoneda.
I think that's my record, hahaha.
Above all, I love supporting anyone who teaches others altruistically.
I think that's love. Greetings from Venezuela.
I use a translator.

Thanks for the wonderful insights on how best to prepare oneself for work in the Blockchain industry and blockshine do seem like a great place to work/start.

Special regards to my friend @crypto.piotr for the lead!

.

Hello @blockshine,
I haven't had the opportunity to work in the blockchain industry strictly speaking but I do hold a 5 years experience on ICT project management operations on a government sponsored project back in my home country and I am a crypto trader!

As Project Supervisor on the project, my team and I were able to achieve, in line with government objectives, the creation and maintenance of a centralized residency database, which helps the state government in identifying and planning for the socio-economic welfare of her residents given its limited resources.

With the expanding use cases of Blockchain Technology, I am excited looking forward to how Blockchain can be adopted to assist governments world over to perform some of its core functions efficiently and effectively at the minimal cost to her residents.

Currently, I am an Economics Graduate student in Indonesia and Blockshine seems to be a great place to truly discover the power of Blockchain Technology. I have emailed you a copy of my CV to further acquit you with the specifics of my background and I would be delighted if I am given the opportunity to Intern/Work at Blockshine this Summer as my skills will prove beneficial in the contributions I can bring to Blockshine Technology Corporation.

Thanks for appreciating my lovely photograph.

Regards always,
Toni

Hi Toni @straighttalk 5 years experience is very extensive and impressive! Great to hear you are working with the institutions (governments) and great to hear you are very positive about the future! Thank you for sending your application, I will have a look. Thank you so much!

You are more than welcome. Looking forward to a mutual beneficial relationship.

Best regards always,
Toni

Hi @intellihandling

I actually managed to convince guys from @blockshine to invest little bit in bounties and Im setting it up to make it easier for them, but they are investing in those bounties as a way of supporting curators.

Cheers buddy

Dear @wonderwop

the hardest worker on Steemit.

Thank you for your kind words buddy :)

As you may already know, every weekend Im sending one memo with some recommendation to quality posts related to blockchain technology. I hope you don't mind receiving it.

I would always appreciate if you could show your support towards promoted authors (mostly by droping some valuable comment). But please don't ever feel pressured.

Im always only grateful to those who can support my efforts. But I fully understand that we all have our lifes and responsibilites outside steemit.

Nice videos, the vitalik bio is a good video!

Very interesting compilation of advice! I am interested in continuing to learn and work with blockchain this year and into the future, and so you saying that skills like good communication and being a quick learner are important in the space meant a lot to me -

To build a brighter future!

I´m higly interestet in crypto-hedge funds. On the one side my main interest is uncertainty and risk management. From ontologic, epistemologic and probilitytheoretical point of view but also from the cognitive side (how are probabilitys perceived? how does an non-rational organism makes actualy decions?).

On the other side there is the neat and clean mathematical ideal "discriptive" approach how a decision should be made.

And ultimatly there is the approximation problem (the end boss), due to chaos no one can compute/predict/simulate (of course many people think thay can) in the end there is a person/the portfolio manager in a field, where there are irregularitys, this means that there cant be expertise in prediction. Does not matter if you start with 20k or with 100 Million.

but your customers and your self are expecting good returns. So you need to use or develop heuristics. Thats the most impressive part. The human brain (some brains) is capeable of making the most unlikly happen. Bitcoin was one of those positive black swans to us. When you can combine this, with this incredible interesting field which developed as a cypherpunk movement and is gaining traction now in an industry as big as the hedgefund and banking industry...this shows that the world is full of amaizing opportunitys.

Your video about Vitaliks personal History shows me, that im maybe not to wrong with my "unhealthy, time waisting", investigative curiousity for those "details". Unfortunatly is does not load :(

Hi @lauch3d

Amazing comment buddy. and I've noticed that you also resteemed @blockshine post. Love to see such a support.

Thank you! It was november of 2016 when I was learning for my computer science exam. But instead of learning, I read an article about the DAO in a german developer and startup magazine and procrastinated on it.

Wrote my thesis in “model-based prediction of effects in multiagent systems (toxicology)” and now I am making my master of science, so right now I am trying to get a job in the risk-management department of pharma-industry here in Berlin to collect experience.

As far as I know, yours is the first insider channel here, communicating with the community. I’m exited for your coming videos. I´m always happy to learn.

Thanks @crypto.poitr for letting me know about this post. This is a great post not only for those that want to work in the blockchain but in any industry. Whilst it was Tailored to blockchain it gives great insight into looking for a job in general.

I myself find that if you are passionate , hard working and take initiative. You are set to become great in your field .

I loved your video, keep up the good work ;)

Thank you so much for your support @btcsam! I am very pleased you found it useful, what did you like about it in particular? I have followed you!

I am a Biology major by education and a public senior high school teacher by profession.

Coming from the education sector, I see alot of work to be done in the information dissemination phase of what is a blockchain is all about.

Clear, concise and precise curriculum should be created inorder for blockchain as an emerging technology over the internet can be fully discussed and explored within the four walls of the classroom.

After the school, advertisement campaigns and community seminar and workshops related to blockchain technology as an business opportunity should be done by blockchain advocacy groups and government agencies handling blockchain related issues.

From that standpoint, we could strengthen or hasten the main adoption of blockchain technologies in all industries and economies. And it will further increase technology development on this field.

I always believe that, education (or re-education) is always a key to the success of any emerging technology.

Thank you @blockshine for this informative video.

Hi @guruvaj thank you for sharing your experiences, I can relate to a lot of this qualities and they are definitely transferable. Education is the key in any industry, you should check out our blockchain centres as well around the world, non-for-profit incubation hubs educating the public and institutions: https://blockchaincentre.com.au
Are you thinking about a potential career in Blockchain?

I can't say it for now, but I can imagine doing something like that in the future.

You could be a future leader in the space, have you heard of Sam Lee, CEO of Blockchain Global?

Not yet, I will make some readings about him later. Well I like the possibilty. Tell me more about this stuff.

Check out his ecosystem here: https://blockchainglobal.com
He is one of my mentors.

Dear @blockshine, I would like to share with you much more about this exciting topic of blockchain but unfortunately I do not have great experience in this, I have not applied for any job since in the place where I live the use of this technology is incipient (or I do not know about it), I live in a town in Venezuela where few people know about it.

I share with you the idea that blockchain is a great opportunity for growth and development, I think that as this technology advances it will reach more places and more opportunities will come. Little by little I am getting more educated on this subject and I hope in the future to be able to openly discuss with full knowledge of blockchain.

For the moment my biggest experience in blockchain is what I have lived in steemit, thanks to my journey through this platform I have been able to get to know projects, cryptocurrencies, something from the market and other things that although I am not yet an expert I want to continue gaining knowledge because it is fascinating.

In steemit I have met people who have helped me and motivated me with this topic, like our good friend @crypto.piotr who invited me to read your publication and be able to support you for the growth of this wonderful community.

Blessings!

Pr Euclides Villegas.

Thank you for the comment @fucho80 and Wow Venezuela! I have heard your government is issuing its own cryptocurrency? Is that correct?

What makes you the most excited about blockchain and it's uses? We will be sure to keep you updated on the subject!

Good presentation, ...Blockshine is now on the radar.

Thank you @jbgarrison72!

How did you get into blockchain and do you know anyone working in it?

I am simply a user of crypto currency. I made the mistake of parking all of my bitcoin at Mt.Gox just before it went T.U... I don't work in development or anything and don't know anyone personally who does, but... I like to keep tabs on developments as a fan.

@jbgarrison72 great to hear that you are a trader. Apologies to hear about Mt.Gox, I am sure there will be future opportunities to make your money back and more in other ways. Which industry do you work in?

I'm freelance in various types of contracting work right now.. formerly financial planning assistant for brokers. I'm also pursuing some side hustles involving digital art and tabletop game design. Time will tell whether I jump back into financial planning office support.

@jbgarrison72 Well there's a totally new industry popping up in the blockchain sphere, specializing in blockchain projects might give you an advantage in that space!

Mt Gox? That must be painful @jbgarrison72 :/

Without posting anything that can be used as "evidence" against me later... I harbor some discomfort over the matter. I'm sure many many many others have a marginally greater amount of chagrin over the matter than I though. ^_^

If the former officers of Mt.Gox end up as part of the concrete foundation of some new construction... I had nothing to do with it.

Dear @jbgarrison72

I'm sorry for such a late reply. I only realized now that I've missed your previous comment somehow.

Thanks for sharing.

ps.
Good fiend of mine posted lately interesting publication: "Bitcoin was NOT in a bubble ...". I got to know him personally and Im doing my best to help him get some exposure and promote his quality work.

Perhaps you could show your support and drop some valuable comment? :) I would appreciate.

Well done professional video. You've got some very good presentation skills and the length isn't inflated like some of the YouTube videos. Keep making more of these :-)

Thanks for dropping by @vimukthi

I absolutely agree that Daniel has some solid presentation skills. Wish him well

Thanks a lot @vimukthi, you make me blush. Keep us followed we will be producing more content in the future!

I think the most important advice from this video is: don´t force yourself to work on Blockchain if that is something that you don´t love or don´t have much curiosity about.
Other than that, if this makes you excited, then you should make everything within your range to get started working on the field you know you will succeed.

Thank you for what you are doing for these awesome content creators @crypto.piotr!!

That's exactly it @diogosantos! The passion for blockchain stems from people being able to visualize how the future might look like! We are currently revamping the whole financial infrastructure with this technology.

What industry do you work in?

I currently do not work, I'm taking a master's degree. But there were already some opportunities to work on banks.

@blockshine I saw your video and loved your energy. your style is very articulate and presentation quite precise.
For me it strikes a chord for I got involved with blockchains around 2014-15
Though I had come across Bitcoin around 2011 I think when I was going through some technical white papers.
So my journey has been about researching and writing.
I would like to produce videos but as of now its ghost writing that helps me earn some crypto. Besides this Since I have experience in creating educational course , writing script and getting paid for it ;)
Perhaps this makes it another skill I plan to use this year though in the field of crypto and blockchains this time.
It is interesting to see how things are evolving in the crypto space and how it is moving out of the realm of research and beginning to affect the lives of the common man on the street.
This is the part that fascinates me a lot.

Hello @thetimetravelerz thank you so much for your positive feedback! Great to hear about your journey! I think you should just do it, don't worry about the equipment etc, I simply just use an iPhone, and set aside time to film (usually on a Saturday or Sunday morning. You seem to have a variety of solid skills and hear your passion for the industry. Are you currently working in Blockchain? I am a big fan of your page!

Yes my friend, I research and write about blockchains though not always on steemit.

Hello @sfcq240788 my friend, thanks for the question. I'm not a developer myself but I do know of a site called Github and Medium where a lot of developers gather and talk about their projects!

Thank you so much my friend

This is a skillfully made video. Your use of TPR is good, but not overdone. Your pace is brisk, but not too fast. All in all, well done. You are an effective communicator.

I know how difficult these things can be. I am currently working as an English teacher, mostly teaching EFL online, where the ability to present myself effectively through a video medium is crucial. Sad to say, I am not yet as good at it as you are.

Honestly, I won't be applying for any corporate jobs. I am now 59 years old, and the vast majority of corporate HR departments won't touch a candidate so close to retirement age.

MY current (minimal) holdings in BTC I purchased at between 8000 and 6600 USD. It was on the downswing, but of course nobody at that time imagined that, a year later, we'd be languishing at 3500. For now, I'm a HODLganger, holding on for dear life until Hell freezes over. Actually, given that it's mid-summer in Argentina, and Buenos Aires is like a steam bath right now, a little freezing sounds very good...

Wow thanks @redpossum! I really appreciate the comments, a lot of work went into the video.

Even though you aren't applying for any corporate jobs, you can still be a part of the crypto community as your presentation skills must be very polished!

What got you into blockchain?

Oh, it was just a hunch. I was doing some cautious options trading at the time, selling covered calls, and thought it might be a good long-term hedge. It remains to be seen whether I was right or wrong about that, eh?

@redpossum Well let's hope you are right! Wish you all the best

Hi and thank you for this interesting post! I think that blockchain will be everywhere in a few years! So work and develope on it, but i‘m just a Little user. Because my IT knowledge is too little - even my english;-)

Thanks @robertgelbmann, we would love to help you learn everything about blockchain, keep following us and you will understand it in no time!

What brought you into blockchain?

All I know about the blockchain world is due to steem. I hesitated to join here just because it involved crypto. Now that I am here, I feel happy to be an early adopter and watch what is going on through financial and crypto sites casually. But most of my effort is focused on steem and I have only a few other holdings with coins that are given away free or for signing up for something.

Until the mainstream starts piling in, I think all of the coins have a lot of risk. I worry about my efforts on steem and feel happy when it loads each day. I am really a weight loss coach trying to get my message out and have posted to many platforms that died in the last 8 years. If steem was gone one day, I would not be surprised. But I am still a bull for this place.

Like another of your commenters, I am 59 and too old to bother applying for jobs anywhere. I also have health issues that make the 9-5 impossible now. So I will just keep blogging and watch with interest as this industry develops.

We're happy to have you @fitinfun! and thanks for the comment. Blockchain isn't just for youngsters, but it will become like the internet, it will be for everyone. We only need to give it some time and soon it will be everywhere.

I will follow your blogs, let's watch this revolution together!

Thank you so much for the follows @blockshine. We will get you back. It's interesting and exciting for me to be here, and I am glad to be a part of it early.

@fitinfun Welcome to the Blockshine family, fitinfun!

Well i have not been in the blockchain industry over a long period but i am amazed by all that i have got to know and learnt through blockchain solutions being presented in the form of ICOs. I have also had the opportunity to meet so many friends all over the world through the crypto community. I love this new world! Followed, upvoted and resteemed.

Thank you @ikkelins, followed you aswell ;-). Blockchain still has a way to go so there will be many more use cases and solutions! We're here to keep you up to date!

What got you into blockchain?

Working on a blockchain would be exciting for someone like me. It has a new world to offer especially when it comes to the different applications of which in the financial industry.

Hello again, @johncrisologo. That's is absolutely right! You should send in your CV and check it out. There are endless opportunities in the blockchain space, the market is still very young.

What application do you find interesting?

Blockchain crypto coins , as long as they are not placed in someone else's wallet, is placed in your own wallet.
if the official website had closed.
The coin is still in,
If the website is also a decentralized Blockchain crypto,
yes or no that website will not closed?
So wish website is like BTC is Blockchain crypto with not closed.

In that case @cloudblade, you can have your own wallet that is not on a website to keep it safe! Hope that answered it.

Have you had problems with those websites?

Bitcoin has done it everywhere...
But online website does not, many plus crypto currency must rely on the existence of the website to be valuable, but the online website often closed by officer, so if the online website also uses the blockchain technology (like as BTC), it must be more reassuring.

Thank you for sharing @cloudblade, need to always be wary of scams on these websites.

I do not understand English
But this guy and his good explanation; They make it easy for me.
Thanks @blockshine, I will support your work.

  1. Do I need a fund in blockchain?
    No, but if it is:
    good communicator
    analytical
    digest information quickly
  2. ¿Necesito un fondo en blockchain?
    No, pero si es:
    buen comunicador
    analítico
    digerir información rápidamente

unfortunately blockchain is not much popular here

As someone who has been in tech I don't find blockchain to be all that different perhaps the financial and legal aspects yes thats not something tech people normally have to deal with he just build shit and have fun with it

Hi @chekohler thank you for sharing your thoughts, are you currently working in finance, blockchain, tech or all of the above?

Two two blockchain companies I worked with were both strictly finance based one was a fiat to crypto exchange and the other was a crypto index fund. I was more in the tech and marketing side, not really interested in the financial stuff to be honest

I also want to share some but I do not have any experiences regarding job in the blockchain however I have some experiences as Crypto users. Thus, i experienced the even the blockchain system is secure, there are still some ways which put crypto users to risk. Among of them are spammers and hackers. Many Hackers uses crypto to steal personal information and some Spammers are using propaganda to attract netizens in investing or to spend Fiat Currency.

Your Fellow Steemian,

blockchain is secure, but regular people keep their wallet keys on their laptops :(

Cheers

Agree, Some unsafe websites are automatically installing malware in your PC without your notice.

I already experience this Net infection many times but I was alerted and I reformat my PC to remove the Virus.

Hi @junnel123 thank you for your wonderful post and for sharing your experiences, here at @blockshine we want to separate and differentiate ourselves from spamming and hacking. We are building the new financial infrastructure. Which industry do you work in?

I will soon work in MARITIME INDUSTRY. Though I have a little knowledge in Computer and Electronic Devices.

@junnel123 Blockchain is great for the maritime industry since it can be used in supply chains! You can definitely check that out

I don't have any info about that. Can you please share some links or details so that I will clearly understand it's greatness?

Let me know what you think?

What an amazing info @blockshine

Yeah, I agree with you and pretty sure that Blockchain is the future..

I know many people are looking for a job, and I know many people have a lot of skills and passion in everything, but in this time I don´t want to include blockchain´ knowledge..!!!

So, The very huge question is: How people can work in this amazing company without not knowledge in blockchain and everything related to this system...? Including me ...!!

.

Thank you @blockshine ..!!

I am a bank employee .. !! Nothing related to blockchain ..

Yeah, many people on steemit are experts on blockchain ..!!

That´s really interesting for me..

I wish I could see your videos by I can not my connection is too slow. I only invested what I could miss and I lost most of it. Not more to share at the moment. Who knows it will be more one day for my kids
