Question Of The Week Season 9.1 . What Does Spirituality Mean To You? JOIN IN!

Firstly a very Happy New Year To You ALL for 2022! Welcome to the very first QOTW for Season 9! Two weeks ago I asked you all to choose a theme for Season 9, and from your comments the results were pretty clear, its Spirituality! I'm very happy about this as there is so much to ask and talk about regarding spirituality. Nevertheless i have decided to start Season 9 with a very simple and personal question, "What Does Spirituality Mean To You?". I think this is a great place to start so that we can see how our global perspectives look! Do we have very different ideas about it, or are they much the same? The world worships God in many names, and sometimes that causes conflict and even war. I don't think a war ever started under the name of Spirituality, so there is clearly a big difference. Could Spirituality be the common bond that unites us all, or is it a very personal thing that we each define differently.

I look forward to finding out in your posts! Everyone is welcome to post and share, whatever your thoughts, feelings and ideas are. The ecoTrain community welcomes ALL opinions and ideas, and we like to hold a safe place for you to write and share. About QOTW Season 9

The world is in crisis. In fact we have many different crisis's happening at the same time.. so many its hard to keep up.. Ones that spring to mind are of course a health crisis in the form of corona, but also generally with a huge percentage of our population having diabetes, heart condition and cancer. We also have a huge climate crisis, with the whole world at threat from climate change, sea level rising, species extinction and more. We are also really suffering from a mental health crisis, with more horrific news stories adorning our screens than I've ever seen before. We also are dealing with a major moral and ethical crisis in many forms including that of our governments and leaders who are more corrupted than we have seen before. It is a lot to think about, and that is why i believe that Spirituality is a topic that is sorely needed. If there was one thing that i believe can help us rise above the fear and tensions brought about by so many different problems i believe it is Spirituality.

Spirituality gives us strength to cope. It gives us a higher perspective that we can perhaps see things very differently than they may appear. Spirituality gives us faith and hope as well as vision to know what is truth. Today it is very good to see that Spirituality is becoming a word that is used more and more, and is starting to be accepted as an important part of a healthy life.. even in mainstream! Words like Yoga and Meditation are becoming normal and even the most unreligious person may have started to practice them.

I would like to say that i see Spirituality as totally separate from religion, As a wise man once said:

"There is only one caste... the caste of humanity. There is only one religion... the religion of love. There is only one language... the language of the heart."

                          Hello friends of the @ecotrain community, I was really surprised by the choice of this topic, "spirituality ". Actually, I find it wonderful, because it is indispensable to cultivate spirituality especially in these difficult times. This pandemic has opened a great opportunity for reflection and attention to spirituality. Because in the hustle and bustle of daily life many were putting aside their spiritual needs. But now is the time to reflect on it. I have never participated in a QOTW, but I am looking forward to this one. Greetings to all😘
