The 2020 MS70 American Silver Eagle

I received this coin early May, and just getting around now to show it.

Actually I wanted to delay showing this until December, after I have acquired and shown all the other world government mint coins.

But last night, I thought of showing it now because who knows if December will ever come, or if I will still be around in December to show it.

By world standards, this coin is the most beautiful, most popular, and most collected coin in the entire world.

😍 #ilikeitalot!😍

2020 (W) $1 AMERICAN SILVER EAGLE PCGS MS70 FIRST STRIKE FLAG LABEL

On the obverse of 2020 American Silver Eagles is the historic Walking Liberty design. This image was designed in 1916 by Adolph A. Weinman for the 50-cent piece in circulation in the US. It depicts Liberty in left-profile relief as she walks from right to left across the design field. Her right hand is outstretched toward the sun on the horizon while her left clutches the oak and laurel branches. The American flag is draped over her shoulders.

The reverse of 2020 1 oz American Silver Eagle coins includes the design of the heraldic eagle of the United States. Initially designed in 1792 by Robert Scot, the first US Mint Chief Engraver, it depicts the American bald eagle with the national heraldic shield, arrows in one talon, and an olive branch in the other talon.

American Silver Eagle Coins are predominantly struck at the West Point Mint, but supplemental coining in recent years has seen some coins struck at the San Francisco Mint.
No American Silver Eagle bullion coins have mint marks.

Acquiring the current year release of bullion silver coins from the different World Mints as they are released is an enjoyable and easy way to stack silver and save value.

Slow and steady, I've added to my stack by exchanging fiat currency for real money in the form of silver coins. These are the 2020 World Mint coins that I have shown on my blog so far:

Sort:

Going for the very Top Shelf quality. MS-70 can't get any better than that.
First of the first off the presses and very shiny. 😎
Always, with love 🤗 💖 🌺

I apologize for this delayed reply!
There was a time when I thought that I'd collect the FirstStrike PCGS MS70 of all government bullion coins, but that veering away from what I really want to do, and giving in to the "buy-buy-buy- what -you-like" attitude before I started stacking (... buy that dress, buy that purse, buy that shoes! You like it and that is reason enough to buy it!)... and then end up with silver that is not really within the true goal that wanted to accomplish by stacking in the first place! So as you can see, all my 2020 coins are raw BU coins. The ASE is special because I stack them in quantities, so I have one MS70 First Strike from every year that you and I started stacking. And I do not intend to go back to the past years.
Thank you always for your love and support, my dearest and most lovely sis @kerrislravenhill. If I di not say it enough... I appreciate you very much! Take care🥰🌺🤙 and xoxo 🤗💕💋!

Now that's a beautiful silver coin @silversaver888, a 2020 MS70 First Strike Silver Eagle, very impressive!!😀
The Silver Eagle should be in everyone's stack, and this one is top quality my friend!!!
Thanks for an early Christmas....I needed that my friend!!!😍😍😀

That is so funny you mentioned Christmas!
My friend @dswigle and I were just talking about how we just celebrated Christmas in July on her blog which seemed like 🙄 just a week ago, and here we are in the last week of August already😱!
I am so glad I got me that pool. Under the water, I am able to put so much stuff in perspective in relation to time. And come to think of it🤔, as fast as time goes, we are able to accomplish things as fast too👍!
The American Silver Eagles, US Constitutional coins, fractional American Gold Eagles are the best (... nothing... absolutely nothing in my humble opinion, beats this) combination for American precious metals stackers like myself. These three types of coins are the foundation of my stack.
Have a lovely day, my friend @silvertop. Thank you for being the first to visit and comment on this article. I appreciate you 🥰🌺🤙

We love Christmas in July!!! And the American Silver Eagles, US Constitutional coins, fractional American Gold Eagles ...

Now here is a girl with good taste!!!

!tip

I knew you'd love these coins, sweet @dswigle! You and I do have good taste! I think 🤔 that I will take a photo and show these coins for #marketfriday. 😉

Absolutely @silversaver888, and if I am correct I believe the silver Eagles and Gold Eagles qualify for IRA's, but....I like the stacker motto..." If you don't hold it, you don't own it LOL"😇
Enjoy your pool , and the evening my friend!!😍😍😀

You will be Here in December Ms Saver and This Could be one of the Lowest Minted American Silver Eagles since 2007. From Everything I have Read The ASE will have a New Design Next Year........ I am Glad That you are a Stacker Because if you Weren't I would have Never Known You........... It Looks Like the NEW Financial System is Set To Go on 9/11/2020 ............. We Shall See @silversaver888

Who does he look like? I think it is both of them, Jackie and Jack. How old would he be now?
I think that I will start reviving my YouTube channel. Yesterday, and out of the blue, I received a fat check from Google Sense. And to think that I deleted so many videos (and lost the potential passive income from those, as well as the subscriber count of those who followed me on those videos, lol).
Yes, I have heard but not personally read about US Mint plans of changing this design. How I wish I have the entire set from 1986 in BU. It is never too late, but it can be pricey.
Enjoy this day, my friend, and enjoy the rest of the week. Take care, @stokjockey 🥰🌺🤙

Nice one. I still don’t even have a 2020 Eagle. And I’m not paying the asking price for them now so i guess I’m not finishing the series.
Take care bestie❤️🌹🤗🥰

Yeah... me too, like, I reduced the number of ASE added to my stack since May, but I wanted to have this one for posterity, in case the U.S .Mint does change the design next year. Mintage numbers are so lower than usual, and an order that I placed on ASE for my stack for this round of purchases is actually on presale. Oh well... I nevertheless continue to get them but substantially less. The secondary market prices are just absurd! Some are more expensive than this graded one. What??? Are they crazy! But flippers are really just snagging them to sell in 2021, or perhaps to keep for themselves. I suppose when the new design comes out. I am just guessing.
Have a great evening bestie, and I appreciate you stopping by! 🥰🌺🤙

beautiful eagle! Its a truly classic design.

I know right?! I wonder what design they have on the 2021 ASE. And why do they have to change it?
Maybe I should start stacking Krugerrands next year, LOL!

Absolutely impressive @silversaver888 nice one.

Even though I hope in the future that I may own one in the future

#ilikeitalot

If it is true that the design of the American Silver Eagle will change next year, i think that it really would be a great idea to get at least one of the 2020 for your collection. They are pretty pricey for a bullion coin right now.

The government mints generally do not change the design of the bullion coins: Britannia, Krugerrand, Philarmonic, Maple, Libertad (they did once, and I still prefer the original design), Noah's Ark, Turtle, Kangaroo. The bullion program of almost all government mints is there primarily to provide an opportunity for regular individual like myself (I am not a collector like yourself) to own precious metals through the years as a tool to creating some diversity in their financial portfolio.

For me specifically, it has been a great way to save and slowly accumulate wealth ... that I can physically hold it and therefore own.

It is great to see you take the time to come and comment on my article. It is appreciated

Have a wonderful day, and take care 🥰🌺🤙 !tip

@silversaver888 true, also I made a blog earlier upon using stuff to our advantage in order to buy things cheaper.

I know I have read it because I do remember it! You know that I always go to your articles whenever you post. In the same token, I will enjoy seeing you in my blog always.
Take care 🥰🌺🤙

I do enjoy the silver eagle and I think I have 12 different years but subtle changes like they do with the Brittanias would be a nice touch.

WOW... and you have more than millions of Americans, @momsterjamgold! I do not have much of the Britannia, but if I turn all my government mint coins with the obverse side up, I have tubes of silver coins with Elizabeth's effigy, LOL! People talk about ASE being boring because of the Walking Liberty design, then one should see my stack of Elizabeths... totally boring! LOL! Just kidding, of course!
Have a beautiful day, and take care @monsterjamgold 🥰🌺🤙

That is really a beautiful silver coin love the art work design 😊

It is a most admired and loved design from the original Walking Liberty Half Dollar silver coin that was issued by the United States Mint from 1916 to 1947.
Thanks for stopping by my friend @bigsambucca! I appreciate you. BTW, can you dm me?

Very nice, I have one of these I did a post with it I think on the 4th of July. This is a really good one being the last of its design. https://peakd.com/hive-136819/@maddogmike/1oz-silver-3d-stars-and-stripes-and-2020-pcgs-ms-70-first-strike-american-silver-eagle

Yes, I think I was one of your first commenters in that article, and told you then that I have the one in the same label from PCGS too!!! Great stacker minds think alike, @maddogmike🤗! LOL

That is a beautiful silver coin, sis! The Walking Liberty is majestic and obviously being a MS70 grading, makes it in a class of it's own. A very nice addition to your stack, sis! I am a bit jealous, lol, but am happy for you. Thank you for sharing your latest treasure and for the detailed work you do on your posts. Take care my sweet sis!🤗💕💕😘🌸🤗

I love the Silver Eagle. And I really love the walking liberty design. I hope they don't pick a modern design for the new ASE. I really do not like the new versions of liberty... I actually dislike the 2018 American Liberty. I do have the 2019 American Liberty. I think that I will show that next week, but I want to finish showing 2020s , and the 1888s... but who cares anyway. I show for this community... I am tired of it. I think I will go back to Youtube instead. I got a fat check from them the other day! Talking about passive income! And I only had to post one video a week!

Wow! How does that work with Youtube? I know that you know that WE are here for you and will continue to seek out your articles. You are very good with your posts and the work you put into them just amazes me. Much love and hugs!🤗🤗💕😘🌸

In spite of having the heart of a collector, I don't understand why would someone slab a bullion coin, even when it is as beautiful as the Silver Eagle...

Posted Using LeoFinance

Different folks, different strokes! I think that especially because they are bullion coins, and because I stack ASE, I'd like to keep one for every year that I've stacked that is graded. You will be surprised.... or maybe not... this beautiful coin is prettier than many of the "collectible" coins that are sold out there by mints who pander to collectors. And for others who are not stackers, and not collectors either and but patriots, they sure love to collect one every year graded ASEs as they are affordable and yet so beautiful. It is the only silver bullion coin that the US Mint produces...nd the case keeps is prestine, without having to pay much for it. Whereas other mints like RCM... produces all sorts of "collectible coin" under the sun, and sells them in graded form too... to make money off of "collectors".
That is why some people like graded Silver Eagels, even if they are just bullion coins.

Thanks for the link. I just went to comment! So cool.

It's been a Long Time since the Coin Couch has done a Video...... @silversaver888

I did not know that. It has been a year since I've uploaded any video on my YouTube channel, @stokjockey! 🥰🌺🤙
