The Southern district of NY is the most corrupt one there is. They never have gone after a banker throughout their history. They also lock people up and allow torture to take place. It is a wild scene there in the lockdown areas in Manhattan. It is like Guantanimo right on America soil.
So the lack of insider trading convictions doesnt surprise. Unless, of course, they want to make an example out of someone like Martha Stewart.

This is good news . I always support initiatives which makes use of renewable energy this way ..
Our state went big on roof top solar energy by giving subsidies to the people in the city and many people adopted it .

No but I don't think it is very sustainable. If you do 1 million transactions then it uses up 1 million addresses. Even if you reuse addresses there has to be a way to verify the transactions.

On a personal note, although I am newer on the block; I don't think in terms of spending, but wanting to have more of a mentality of building/saving. I've done enough spending. Too much actually. I'm about to hit 55 in 11 days. I have a small window to use SS as toilet paper and not rely on it.
I'm asking purely, because having the option of a card; would be cool for the passive income through my affiliate marketing endeavors and it's potential growth.
Might be a little early yet. I am sure down the road this is a distinct possibility, but in the near term I do not see it happening.

I got a badge from HiveBuzz or whatever. Now I don't worry about it anymore. Meat prices were already heading higher, at least beef, due to all that were slaughtered with the packing houses closed last year. This will only eat into supply more, causing a greater shortage.
Perhaps we will be stuck eating insects soon.

Beef is already unafordable for a lot of households here in Brazil... we're seeing a major switch to chicken and pork, which are cheaper, but even those are still going higher so a lot of families are having to seriously cut back on meat consumption

It is the same in the states. They shut down the global economy meaning that meat packing houses all over the world were not able to process the animals needed. I do not know why anyone is surprised at a food shortage and rising prices.
It was fairly easy to see coming when farmers were plowing over fields with crops that weren't being picked.

Well not exactly but the push into even more automation is going ahead. There are 10 McDonalds in the Chicago area that will be trialing automated drive through. That means the orders will be taking by computers. It is estimated only 20% of the orders require a human.
This stems from McDonalds acquisition of an AI company in 2019. So this was in the works for a while.
