Hive has been plagued with airdrops these past months and that is a nice type of plague to have fallen upon this awesome community. One such planned airdrop was the Ragnarok drop (A future Hive BlockChain game) in which the snapshot took place the same date as the LARYNX snapshot. But what happened to this planned airdrop and game (Did it already take place: No it did not so no worries for those who have been waiting. You did not miss it). For the most part official posts about Ragnarok have been published twice a month. I did a little digging and compiled a list of @ragnarok.game most recent updates and blog posts. But before we get to that lets go over the original Ragnarok airdrop details.

Ragarnok is An NFT based P2E strategy game. The games design document can be read HERE. Ragnarok.Game Recent Updates
From the official announcement date to now roughly three months have gone by. The Ragnarok.Game official Hive Blockchain blog account has a total of fourteen posts. The last being roughly eleven days ago (03/17/22). Since their original announcement they ran a couple different competitions which included a Logo contest that seen the winner getting 2000 HIVE for their efforts. Ragnarok's development is going smoothly. The art is stunning, and the developers are doing a great job building gameplay and fixing bugs. We are very thankful for the wonderful support. We are now over 2,000 on Twitter and more than 1,000 on Hive.

We have created a small team formed by marketers, graphic designers, and content creators. Some of them are also community leaders in Hive. I agree, it does feel delayed but delayed airdrops does seem like the norm for the bigger projects that airdrop on HIVE. Considering drop rate is based on HIVE holdings its likely HIVE whales will have some sort of advantage. At the very least they will have the most amount of dropped NFT's and that in itself is an advantage.

I am looking forward to the game but I think I might just rent out the NFTs I get from the airdrop. I don't think it's coming out soon but that can't stop the hype from this game. I just don't really plan on playing as much because you got to suck in HBD to restore NFTs after matches.

I wonder how the renting will work. It would stand to reason that the owners of the rented NFT's would likely need to restore them after use. I'm waiting to see how many drops I get and the going price before I make any decisions. Renting is very appealing to me. Its near impossible to make time for all HIVE has to offer.

The @ragnarok.game team was SO active but then seems to have disappeared the day after the airdrop. Very Strange. They did not get any coins out of me for a rugpull but it just seems weird how they went from being all over HIVE to forgotten about.
