Digital Portrait of Harley Quinn.

Hello

I hope you're having a great day.

Welcome back to my blog where I'm going to share a digital portrait of a famous DC character Harley Quinn that I successfully digitalized with a little skill that I have with Adobe Illustrator.

Let's see the completed art.

This is the digital portrait of the famous DC character and I've found the reference photo here.

There's the real photo that I tried to digitalize.

Steps.

I used Adobe Illustrator CS6 to do this. I used the pen tool for the main parts of the art but I had to take help from some other tools as well.

At first, I went for the hair, and then I worked on the where I had to do a lot of things actually and the hair and the eye part was really hard. Then I drew the hands with the stick, the dress, and the remaining parts.

This is the part where I worked on the hair of Harley Quinn where I've used around six colors for the shading of the hair color and this is the part with what I started drawing this one.

Then I went for the face where there are her eyes with around 9-10 colors shading and the lips with three colors shading. I had to give some color shading for the nose as well so that it looks good on the face. The original picture has some darker color shading on the face as well but I didn't use them as I didn't like that after I tried. I also drew the neck and the ears at this point.

Then I just drew part of her hands and the stick, the famous stick of the famous character which is more than a friend, more than armor to her. I've used four colors shading on the stick and seven colors shading on part of hands.

Then I went for the cloth as it was the only part left to be drawn. At first, I drew the t-shirt and I also added a part of the sentence "Daddy's Lil Monster" on the t-shirt and I used the font as I liked. Then I started working on the jacket. The jacket is divided into two parts with two different colors. I've used around six colors for the clothes except the lettering. Now, at this point, my work has done on the portrait but I was looking for a nice background that can be suitable for the character and I've looked over the internet but I couldn't find one that I liked for this character so I made the background myself.

I made this background with gradient shades and I also added my signature on the art at this point and I think the background suited the portrait.

So... I just presented you with a digital portrait of Harley Quinn that I digitalized.

I hope you liked the art.

And if you really like it then don't forget to let me know how it is, and if you find anything wrong with my work, then please let me know about those as I need to know where I'm doing wrong.
