I made an inward tsking noise as I browsed my HIVE feed. It was awash with people regurgitating stories of Bitcoin becoming legal tender.
I clicked and skimmed through a few and made that face people make when they crack open an egg for the frying and find one of those strange little shadowy foetus shapes inside it. The ones that look like little chicken Hiroshima silhouettes.
For fuck sake.
I thought to myself, trying but oddly failing to imagine a sad face emoji.
Will people trot out any old shit in their desperation for a daily post?
I made to close my laptop as it was groaning under the weight of so much crypto bullshit.
Then I stopped. Hang on. What was it that they said...

No, surely I couldn't vomit up the headlines from a random crypto news site and serve them up to people as if they were my own ideas just for a few bucks?
But then, I was technically working and I could hear one of the cats barfing up what sounded like the mother of all hairballs. You know the kind, the ones that look like those tragic raggedy scarves that hipsters wear only with added slime.
Didn't fancy cleaning that up. Nor answering the myriad Teams messages that were piling up on my work screen.

Every time I read the word HUGE I think about a former el Presidente de la Unitades Statos del Americanos. Was that not something about some wall, a huge one, it's big, but really big, it's huge...!?

Well it is a rough business, but I think we all are entitled to write a crypto shit- post now and again. In fact this post inspired me to do just that! Yes it is true some times I like to poke at the bear a bit and call everyones' baby ugly as it were. Indeed a title like Has Crypto Jumped the Shark is not going to win over many supporters lol. The best bet though is to cover it with insanely random photos that are questionable quality at best. Well that is my personal strategy and you see how well it has worked for me lol.

I think that is the first realistic timescale I have ever seen!
But hey, credit card adaptation took about 40+ years... I can still remember old ladies yelling "I will never use this plastic shit, they can steal your money from it, blah blah blah" and today they are paying freaking bubble gum with cards. Everything new needs time to adapt, but in crypto, it will be much much faster. Why? Because of the era, we live in "everything must be super fast, now now now, yesterday is too late" and globalization.
I remember when cards started making an appearance. My mum still used to go down to the bank and take out her weekly money in one go. Even up till the end she rarely used her card, it was cash cash cash. Me, I am card daft. I swipe everything!
So yeah, hopefully, now we are in the 21st century it will go a bit quicker
