What is the most spontaneous thing you have ever done?
When I was little, I attended a public school and our place was far from the house but there was of course a shortcut but I was not a fan of shortcuts so I never cared about it. One day, I was feeling very hungry and tired and all what was on my mind at that point was to get home and then I saw most of my classmates following the shortcut and I blindly followed them.
To my greatest surprise, the shortcut was a mini forest with a stream demarcating our school to the road that leads to my house. There was a very tiny wood for us to pass through, I was so scared that I fell into the stream but luckily for me, a friend came to my rescue and ever since then I never thought of that shortcut again no matter what happened.
For the second question...
What character do you think you got from your parents, positive or negative?
Yes, my dad loves things to be done his way and I think I took that from him but I'm working on mine and I think I'm not exactly like him but I know I took that after him. Then from my Mom, she loves cleaning and organizing places and I got that from her too, I like it, I love it, hehe.

Finally, I don land for where the ogbonge tori dey happen 😁... For a while now, I haven't been catching up on the engagement and I keep missing out on it 😪. Although, I've now asked @samostically to tag me on this so it'll be easier to join in the fun.
Now, without wasting more time, lemme get on with this weekend's topics 💃...
I don't usually do things spontaneously because I too dey reason things. As an overthinker, everything I do is premeditated (most of the time sha)... When I try to do things unplanned or without first giving it some thought, it usually ends up as a complete fuck up.
However, some months ago, I did something spontaneous. It was 2 a.m at night and I was fast asleep in my hostel off campus. Na so I take jump from bed, enter kitchen go soak garri with sugar and milk. Walahi, e remain small I for don comot go buy groundnut sef 😂🤦.
Like, it all happened out of the blue as if pesin use remote take control me. Clearly I wasn't thinking, I sha just drank the full bowl of garri, went back to bed and woke up with serious cramps. It was my first time soaking garri at such odd hour and I realized it wasn't good for my stomach 😢.
Hmm... I think I got a fair share of traits from my parents, both the positive and negative.
For the positive, I took after my mom's kindness. She's very kind, sweet and generous to everyone and so am I 😊. For the negative, I'd say I took after her over emotional character. Being too emotional can be bad at times, I cry too easily and feel too much. I can get sentimental and it has sometimes gotten the best of me. I'm still working on improving this weakness sha.
From my Dad, I took after his resilience. Yes I might be an emotional "cry baby" 😕 but I have this ability to comeback from anything 💪. I keep pushing and showing up no matter the challenges I'm faced with. And just like my Dad, I no like "see finish". For the negative, e be like na stubbornness I collect oo 😅. It's not something I'm really proud of because I sometimes get too obstinate with changing my decisions.

whenever I am at home, I don't like having dirt in the house no matter how small it might be, so I am always sweeping, just to make the house look clean.
Even when I have visitors, I unconsciously just take the broom to sweep where they might have stepped in with dirty feet or slippers, sometimes I try to overlook it, but it's just not possible, it's always as if something is pushing me to go and sweep.
I think I got something from my mum, she always wants to look out for other people, that's are not even related to her, even when she is not invited to give a solution to something, she's always there looking for solution and caring in the little way she can, even I get people who tell me I act like my mother, well I might say its a kinda like a good thing.

From my mum, I got a negative character from her which is always getting worried over everything 🤦🤦. Yes, I am always anxious about things, so impatient and I hate it. Ever since I know my mum, this is her character, she worries almost over nothing and it baffles me on how I take this character from her!!. Well, it's a weakness which I am trying so hard to break out from. It's high time I know that worrying can't do me any good but rather put more effort in whatever I set my goal to achieve and most importantly, trust God in all my life endeavors.
From my late Dad, I took extending a helping hand from him. He wasn't a wealthy man but still put smiles in people's face in his little way. This is me , a lot of times it pains me when I can't do the needful...I will be so restless seeing someone truly in need but in most cases, I have extended a helping hand to people the little I can and I pray to do more .

Omo I no go lie give una Sha, most of the traits I have now were certainly gotten from my Dad than my Mum. Maybe that was because I was so close to my Dad. No blame guy man, my papa dey always get goodies for boys.

I'm quick to anger but compassionate a lot. Most times I wonder if I'll ever blow in life with the kind heart I get. And these two traits were gotten from my Dad. I'm working on the anger issue though by walking away from what made me angry at that point.
