Niue is an island country in the South Pacific Ocean, 2,400 kilometers (1,500 mi) northeast of New Zealand. Niue's land area is about 261 square kilometers (101 sq mi) and its population, predominantly Polynesian, was about 1,600 in 2016.
Niue is located in a triangle between Tonga, Samoa, and the Cook Islands. It is 604 kilometers northeast of Tonga. The island is commonly referred to as "The Rock", which comes from the traditional name "Rock of Polynesia".
2021 Niue Roaring Lion Silver Coin
1 oz .9999 fine silver, face value of $2 (NZD) backed by the government of Niue.The lion is depicted in front-facing relief with a crown on its head. The rim of the crown on its head has an inscription of "Send Out Your Light and Your Truth", with the Hebrew letters of Aleph and Tav inscribed on the face of the crown.
On the obverse side of 2021 1 oz Niue Roaring Lion Head Silver Coins, you will find an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majestys bust is found in right-profile relief on this side of the coin with a background field of radiating lines. The Queen is shown here in the popular 1998 design from Ian Rank-Broadley that includes the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara on her head.
Niue is a self-governing state in free association with New Zealand, and New Zealand conducts most diplomatic relations on its behalf. As part of the Realm of New Zealand, Niueans are citizens of New Zealand and Queen Elizabeth II is Niue's head of state in her capacity as Queen of New Zealand. Between 90% and 95% of Niuean people live in New Zealand, along with about 70% of the speakers of the Niuean language. Niue is a bilingual country, with 30% of the population speaking both Niuean and English. The percentage of monolingual English-speaking people is only 11%, while 46% are monolingual Niuean speakers.

Yes, last years was the same design. There are a few years 2018 and 2019 that have a full lion on them and I think that is it for this series.
They were minted by an American company.. the Sunshine Mint!

The reverse side of this coin is superbly done with the nice details on the lion, which lions are awesome anyway, and with the design surrounding the lion's head. Once again, on the Queen's side of things, I wish they would have left it a mirrored background, but it looks like the lines are a thing for them this year. Thanks for sharing sis!

The Roaring Lion has been a symbol for the Jewish people. The Lion of Judah is mentioned throughout the Torah, with the first mention coming in the Book of Genesis when it was given to Judah by his father Jacob. The Torah notes that the lion became the symbol of the Israelite tribe of Judah, a tribe that consists of the descendants of Judah. Judah was the fourth son of Jacob. I never heard about Niue before I found the Czech Lion bullion from Czech Mint is minted under the Niue license...😉
I don't usually buy Niue coins, they came with premiums. This one was reasonable prices @tazi.
It is similar in design to your Czech Lion.
Another epic design referring to the "Lion of Judah", sort of reminds us that Silver is God's money.
Nuie, like many Island nations in the region don't have a Silver mine nor a Mint facility. Glad that the Sunshine Mint produces these coins.

Looking at your 2021 list of bullion coins, the amazing variety keeps growing each year kind, of keeps Stacking fresh and exciting. I'm just plain Stacking Maple Leafs with the occasional Bird related coin or banknote.
As Kerris would describe me as a Vanilla Styled Stacker.
I stack American Silver Eagles fractional gold and US Constitutional silver. I don't show it here, as it is all the same. I only show the like of these coins... most of them bullion coins. Nothing special as I cannot afford the expensive ones really. Perhaps this year, I will show my gold.
I understand, there is a lot of variety to talk about in Semis and Numismatics already, I think we should still exercise caution in not sharing too much when it comes to expensive gold and silver. I cautioned Kerris not to be over doing it because it can border on personal security issues, becoming a Target and avoiding problems before they happen.
