Welcome back to my blog where I'm going to share a digital portrait of a famous character Tomb Raider that I successfully digitalized with a little skill that I have with Adobe Illustrator.
Let's see the completed art.
This is the digital portrait of the famous character and I've found the reference photo here.

There's the real photo that I tried to digitalize.
Steps.
I used Adobe Illustrator CS6 to do this. I used the pen tool for the main parts of the art but I had to take help from some other tools as well.
At first, I went for the eyes which were so challenging for me, and then I worked on the lip, the shading of the nose, the ear, the face, the body, the hair, and the remaining parts.
At first, I worked on the eyes which was so much challenging for me as I tried to make the eyes without any flaw. I had to use around nine colors on the eyes and the side of the eyes for a nice shading. Then I drew the shading of the nose after I finished drawing the eyebrows. Then I went for the lip where I had to use five colors as shading.
Then I went for the face and a part of the next and the ear. This is the first time I've done so much work on an ear. I had to use around eight colors for the ear and I think that looks like a fantastic one. Then I've given a darker shade on the neck part while I gave a brighter shade on the face.
Then I went for the hair where I've used only two colors and the hair part was easy for me this time for this portrait. Then I started working on the body part where I had to draw a hand with around six colors shading and the body and a tank top as well.
Then I've added a bow and part of another hand that was used for targeting with the arrow. I had to use around five-six colors for the bow and the arrow. I've finished working on the portrait at this moment I went looking for a nice background image for the portrait.
I've found one background photo that I liked and I've found it from here. Then with the background photo and my signature as a watermark, I've finished this work.
So... I just presented you with a digital portrait of Tomb Raider that I digitalized.
