Our community's open mic event attracts 100+ musicians and thousands of listeners each week. We provide a haven for creative expression and genuine connection. All are welcome. Every contributor can be proud of the fact we are building a live music movement, sharing songs with an international audience. Global harmony is our mission. World peace is our vision.
For the 73rd week of Hive Open Mic, we will explore the following theme: Humor + Love. This theme is selected by Spotlight Artist: @osomeltrozo, who is a fantastic singer, amazing music producer, and an all around awesomely supportive person to many musicians. Our community is blessed by his presence here. Everyone is encouraged to share the collective current as we express and connect through: Humor + Love.
“Humor + Love”
This week's Hive Open Mic theme is: “Humor + Love.” This is a pressure-free invitation, encouraging us to explore new territory together as artists and share a common ground as a community. Musicians always have full freedom to bring whatever music feels inspired in the moment. Here's a timeline, for anyone wishing to look back, be present, or prepare future entries.
How To Play
1. Produce - Introduce your video by saying the words, “Hive Open Mic Week [1],” including your name. Perform a song.
2. Present - Post your video in the Hive Open Mic community. Include the tag #openmic.
3. Promote - Share your link in the comments section of Sunday's open mic invitation in order to ensure your entry is heard.
4. Prosper - Enjoy harmony with the Hive community by engaging with musicians and music fans through upvotes and uplifting comments.

El único aparato con que hago mis grabaciones presenta problemas de carga y no pude hacer la tarea a la cual me comprometí. Estuve viendo algunas participaciones y en verdad me sorprende ver y escuchar tanta belleza junta. Retomo mi apoyo para el amigo administrador @cabelindsay por su extraordinaria iniciativa. The only device with which I do my recordings has problems loading and I could not do the task to which I committed myself. Thank you for the appreciation you have for my friend @cabelindsay. I really feel very sorry after so much effort I have shown in this community with my grain of sand. Today I was able to fix my phone. I have not been able to find one because here in Venezuela the situation is hard. That's why I want to collect some money in this platform to buy food to see if I can reach someday to buy a phone to support me in my recordings. The effort is worth it. Thank you very much and I look forward to hearing from you.
