I'll start!
I think the fact that I HAD to write by a certain time, made it more stressful. If I only had 5 minutes (freewrite) I wouldn't have time to stress!
But having a full week actually made it m ore difficult in a way??? LOL
When you're building the future it's tough to find time for challenges even when you create them lol
yes yes yes. for me - this one was SO hard. hahaha I was writing all week for prepping everyone on #dreemport but then wanting to participate. I was staring at the screen for days!
but then - FINISHED!
WELL.... with part 1 hahahaa

i'm so proud of you... this week was really tough for our Ambassadors at #dreemport! I have to say - I was a bit worried all week. LOL I know that its just the debut contest though! so a lot to be worked out hehehe so i won't worry long term! but you all worked extra hard! I hope you enjoy this weekend thoroughly!

The most challenging part was making it a short story. I think one day I'll take the time and put in much more, I had so many Ideas about background and exposition. And keeping part 2 short in my head is already freaking me out.

my suggestion is start writing part 2- and then mid-week, start to edit down. editing is SO important!

Yeah, it is like 1 full story but 3 short stories each with its own start, middle and sensible end. I always find excluding all the fluff then again tempted to see the reaction from curators on #dreemport on a 30min read...
I'm trying for three parts for my #dreemport entry.
first part exposition and first peril
second part building up suspense for the big problem
third part resolution
Another challenge in itself was coming up with a hook to end part 1 for the #dreemport serial fiction challenge too... keeping that in mind is important too.

You know what I did today? hehehe I started writing sections of part 2 and part 3. just completely out of order. Whenever I "saw" an interaction, I wrote it down. I want to enjoy week 2 of this #dreemport challenge more! hehehe
I started writing mine last night, broke the back of part 1, so it will be finished later today and shared in #Dreemport. It's interesting writing with a longer view in mind, and this one? I cannot really draw from experience... lol.
I'm so excited! seeing more and more people coming to #dreemport to have this FUN experience of meeting communities! I love that this challenge was challenging - but not too intimidating! even though you had to "break the back" of it! lol
I wonder at which point the exponential growth will kick in to #dreemport and how you will cope with it.

I did think of this from the start when I first conceived of #dreemport. And I think we have already weathered the first increase well, (and the second too)
Of course going 10x will really test us LOL but the scalability is dispersed over the members. I think I'm going to explain this in a #threadstorm
which - by the way - I think our #threadstorm might have been the wrong way.

I found that the middle part I want to submit to #dreemport next week is way too long in my head.

As at now, just few hours to deadline... I'm still struggling with the idea to write mine out.
3 serial story is no easy one 😅 but I guess the idea part of it is the hardest for me, once out... I'll go smoothly after.

I've been grabbing but it just gets difficult for me, I honestly don't know what's stopping the flow since all the time I've been brainstorming on an idea... Maybe it's the non stop headache I've been having 😩🥺
maybe you can write about the headache... as if it is force thats been put on you to stop you from becoming who you were meant to be. hehehehe

I already read some #dreemport entries that are already posted and it's fascinating to see the differences in told time. Some use 1000 words to describe 5 minutes and some use 1000 words to describe a few days.

The most challenging part for the task was to come up with the story idea that I can continue up till 3 parts, because fiction seems to be one of the most difficult type of writing to me.

To stop my procrastination and get writing. This was also the first writing piece where I needed to do a little research on some things to fit the story.
that can be a really tricky thing! hehe to add in research! For me it always pulls me a bit out of the writing experience and I have to find my way back in! But how exciting to see that you tried something new here for #dreemport! (did you see we are ranked #6 in trending annd closing on #5 hehe)
Luckily it was just a few small details so it wasn't too bad.
